luvola: and by restricting the movement of people ? Why are you so dump like this.
It's ur father that is dumb.
Restricting movement of people is the point of the tradition.
When a king dies, stay in ur house.
If your don't like the law, pls leave Yorubaland

Acidosis: No bro, lets start by demolishing all palaces in the country, including royal buildings and kingdoms.

How does MFM PRAYER CITY AFFECTS YOU (PERSONALLY)? I passed through the prayer city some weeks back without any obstruction.

Were you forced to pay Tithe/Offering?

I'm not ready for this wack argument, abeg!
Let's demolish ur house first.

Mfm prayer city disturbs me from moving freely from Lagos to other parts of Yorubaland. Hours of hold up(traffic) on 1st Friday to Sundays of each month same with redeem camp.

Government should demolish these pls and let free flow of vehicles

Advocate for this first and people would take you seriously when you say government should ban Oro
Not forgetting that Oro is part of the Nigerian cultures as a Yoruba identity

haibe: pratices that restricts movements? how can a human be this dumb?? Imagine those in where you reside restrict your movement for a year saying it's their culture, how does it sound.
It is ur father that is dumb.
If I am in a place and the people have a culture nd tradition I don't like, I'll leave simple.
Leave Yorubaland for those who value culture and tradition of the land

vislabraye: Ode buruku !! You must be a fool not to know what everyone knows in history. Killing of twins was a common practice by the pagan practitioners in Calabar. Go to calabar and find out. I wont be surprise if you argue that slave trade never existed.
Is calabar Yorubalandhuh We talking Yoruba traditions
And killing of twins doesn't happen there anymore

obi123: i dont have any emotions whatsoever about your culture , i'm just saying its unfair to restrict the movement of some people just because a king died , this is not a Yoruba thing or ibo thing, in general its just a common sense thing , by all means practice your culture but not at the expense of human beings.
i think most people appreciate the beauty of culture and like the fact that it is still being practiced but come on a 6pm curfew huh
Sorry but you are anti-Yoruba.

It's our tradition that when a king dies, people stay home throughout the oro period to honor the king, a tradition more than 1000yrs old
If you can't appreciate that keep ur opinion to urself

lanaVello1: This is really silly..why would u affect other people's liberty because of ur own personal shii. we really need to grow up around here...m sure several innocent lives will be wasted all in d name of defiance of dz restriction...smH for my country..
Muslims and Christians affect our liberty too. Upon those that don't belong to them

Now this is Yoruba culture, the ikorodu people like it, if your don't leave their village

juman: You people should allow us to do our things. Let people move around and do their businesses.

With these kind of behaviors of you people lagos target to become a real mega city is a joke.
You people should allow us to practice our culture and tradition. Honour our kings and deities

obi123: while we are happy that in the 21st century some of our African culture is still practiced today , why though must people be made to feel threatened by it, why must i be held hostage in my own home because a king died?

culture must be engaging to ensure its continuity and interest, why must movement be restricted because a king died? culture must be accommodating to others who are not part of it, hassle like this is what brings hostility towards certain practices and they are seen to be backward thus people turn their noses at it and refuse to understand it.
It's the culture. You shouldn't go out, stay home in honour of the king.
Go to England and question their culture you hypocrite

vislabraye: Pls spread the word to these NL nincompoooops in the like of Pagan and Dragon who don't see anything wrong with killing people in the name of tradition.

When you tell them these evil, they'll tell you its Western propaganda. It still beats my imagination that there are savages who are proud of their evil. May some1 close to them lose his/her life to one of these people.
May someone close to loose his/her life as he/she is going to church.

juman: They are not more yoruba than other yorubas in other religions.

Their barring people from living their lifes is breach of law
Yes they are more Yoruba. Infact you are not Yoruba once you reject your ancestors
The infringement on people's cultural right is a breech of law

muyeeoo: If you are educated you will understand the implication of restricting movement because of a forsaken tradition that is not accepted by all. That is the problem. nobody is saying they should not do whatever ritual they deem fit to celebrate but restricting movement and even going ahead to kill innocent people in the name of culture is stupid and barbaric
you are warned. It is our culture, if u don't like it move out
Culture › Re: Restriction Of Movement In Ikorodu Tomorrow Due To Ritual Rites (eluku & Oro). by macof(m): 2:47pm On Aug 07, 2014
Acidosis: You never fail to dissapoint, dummy smiley

No one is complaining about your god or whatever you choose to worship. Who cares? Even if you spend 365 days praising Stones and granites.

The question remains... why the hell should anyone restrict the movements of others in the name of religion and rites?

Na all dis rough play dey cause riots and religious wars.

I strongly urge the F.G to ban these african stup.i dity and backwardness.

Christians and Moslems do not restrict anyone from moving to wherever...

Personally, no fa.g.got can ever hinder me from moving to wherever I want. Never in this life! Atleast not in Nigeria!

I only pity those who have businesses to run around Ikorodu.

How I wish I attend a Church around that side. Heaven knows I'll be the first person to get to Church! Dat man wey go stop me, i tell u, dem neva born am.

Until thousands of heads roll; you idiotic fa.ggots will never learn.
it is our culture if you don't like it don't come to our land. Leave us alone.
no movements, that's the law.

While you at it may FG also ban all these backward Christian and Muslim acts around the country
Ban Redeem camp and Mfm prayer city, ban churches nd mosques in residential areas, stop multiple construction of churches nd mosques and wastage of resources, pastors stealing our money in the name of tithe and sowing seed

it's not a matter of culture, it's a matter of every citizens right to live and right to freedom. If every town in Nigeria start this oro act, then be sure nigeria is dead..
You are Yoruba??
Pls wats ur tribe? Ur home town?
what's ur family oriki?
How much do you know about ur lineage??

Yoruba for mouth undecided

Every town in Nigeria has the right to practice it's culture if Nigeria prevents that then there's no use being Nigerian if it attacks my first identity. Leave my people alone and mind your business

You must be an illiterate not to know that twins were killed in CAlabar. In fact I don't want to invoke Ebola disease on that your mouth.
Yes the computer Andy smart phone we use has it's origins in pagan knowledge.

Soon people would start wondering why progress in such communities is scarce
why wouldn't it be,when innocent blood are crying to God against them.
Nigeria as a country need to carry out special attornment with the blood of jesus to silence all these innocent blood,if not,we may not move forward.

Thats why theres no development in Ikorodu. When demons are invoked upon a land how do you want it to grow?

The said culture would affect movement because that's the actual culture here. If you and ur Christ don't like it take Christ to Jerusalem where he belongs
