Lol @mohawkchic, don't think I'm just being mean to the girls (Miss Frank). I do like their spunk, trust me .About Alexandra, I'm a bit deflated about the Bad Boy song. It's not going to be winning any awards or reigning on any charts - but it's a song that'll grow on you eventually. Funny enough I always said the guys would make bigger hits - and I was right! I love the "Beat Again" song and video. @ mystikal, chic2chimp and co. - how u guys dey make money on these shows?? show us the way na . |
Sagging fits some people, though it is frowned upon by many. In fact, it might only be popular in the U.S. But if you feel comfortable with it, why care what others think?? |
Please play Dan Maraya Jos Greatest Hits . The ambience that follows will provide the appropriate setting . |
Well, I saw something on TV recently - how girls spend months at clinics stretching their legs to be longer. It's a painful, long process but longer legs means more height, so if you can afford it, maybe you can give it a try. It's a doctor in Switzerland or so and he's the only one that does it cos it's banned in many countries. |
Still captivating . The characters are real as ever too. Kudos. |
@Gamine Pls post o, maybe it will boost the Ogbono campaign . |
@ Rave I liked the "music piece" - its prose in verse, poetry in motion - nice. Music is my happy place, too. But it can also be a hard spot when the song brings back the wrong memories. But I could never turn my back on music; who ever created music did a wonderful thing! |
^^Yes, I think I know the fine one. But the other two: one has a massive weave-on that makes her look funny. The fat girl is cute but that rapping she did once just got me off her fast . |
^^^Lol. Your eyes - sorry, the polls must be deceiving you. Do a head count on the actual posts and see how many "ogbono has it" there really are. Egusi lovers just love to vote, that's all . |
Funny enough, I think Louis has a good one this year. He just has to work on the twins, make them more likeable, and work on the image of the Kandy Rain group, and as for Miss FRANK-----no comment . |
Liverpool Rocks . |
@frank 3.16 Wow, it all took a crazy turn I began to wonder if it was the same story!! I still like it though, and would definitely watch this space. One of the nicest stories I've read on this thread - but this is just the beginning so let's see . I trust you though . |
Miss Frank to win? Why are you guys being so sentimental? They have a cute history, almost-lost-out-but-got-reprieved blabla, but is there any real chemistry and can the girls click on live stage? Bet me, the answer is no . By the way, I think I'm rooting for the blond, blue eyed boy-hunk (no, not one of the twins ). This year will be the funniest ever, I guarantee it . |
@ George D, lol, we must not give up until the best man - I mean soup, wins . |
@semid & co, well done oh. So because the topic is named "Untitled" you are using it to solicit abi? Take time oh . Lol. |
You're welcome. Even though you spent most of your time threatening my readers . Anyway, thanks for your time and effort . |
I've posted it like ten times but it keeps disappearing, @dgreatrock. I don't know how others get it done so I give up for now - I'm no PC guru . |
Guys (and gals), I'll be posting the finale soon. If you don't find it on the thread then please check my profile posts. Thanks for reading! |
Yes, the first 2 chapters are very good. You remind me much of the thick African way of writing . Much like Chinua Achebe and co. who had a lot of flesh in their books which is very good unlike the fast forward style of some today (including me). It's very enjoyable so far, so I guess it ticks all the boxes. Kudos. |
Verrrry nice. I read it so fast I'm afraid you're going to be in trouble ![]() Because I'll soon start haunting you to be quick about continuing. I like your writing style, it's very natural but gripping. The break-up scene was so raw I could have thought I was actually seeing it happen. Keep it up, good job. |
Nothing new, my friend, nothing new. You shouldn't let things like this bother you any more. It's part of our identity, for now(419) so you need to grow very thick skin. |
This is amazing. The negative reactions to the Danger song/video really baffles me. To each his own I guess, because I enjoyed watching the video the first two time and I would watch it again. Beautiful concept; at least no female models in skimpy outfits, and I loved the clowns. It all had a very good concept, unique and original. And the lyrics of the song, WTH?? What's so objectionable about those? Danger, wahala etc are just words. If songs like "Kolomental" and "Maga don Pay" didn't bother you, why should this?? They're just talking about their critics etc. No need for us all to be offended/disappointed. Trust me, I've heard worse. |
I was about to say the same thing myself. If Kevin gets any more unfair treatment, i.e. gets evicted unceremoniously, then it's high time Nigerians boycott BBA. Don't audition to be a housemate, and don't watch the stupid show. But do we really have the stamina/self-control? Doubt it. |
^^^^^ ![]() Don't try me o. If I wanted I could keep this up for 40 pages But I really don't like to show off ![]() |
@ frank 3.16, maybe you're right about that. And yet, some young men of 16 and above have already learned relationship values and respect for women . That said, I didn't want them to all be too childish or it'll be just another fairy tale. Which, by the way, will soon be coming to an end . |
Really nice, @ frank3.16!! And I really mean that . The characters are so real, especially that Adam . I'll be watching out for his nemesis . |
^^^And what's your own eehhnn?? Don't you know . |
Lol @ Jairzinho I know what you're driving at .Well at least we understand each other. Never turn your back on your team - and they can never let you down. YNWA |
