RomanceRe: Since I Met Her, I 've Been Having Bad Luck by maedan(f): 11:47pm On Oct 20, 2009
Well if your mind tells you something is wrong then you need to decide if you should stay with her and be blaming her secretly for your problems, or you walk away and see if things change undecided. Or you could fast and pray hard for a breakthrough. Some people believe in "spirits" in relationship. If your spirits are clashing then its nobody's fault but you're not meant to be together. All this is just hogwash. I don't believe in any of it. What I think is that since you met her you've not been taking your future/life seriously and you need to face reality, strive harder and keep the girl!!

LOL.
Sorry but the topic is too over the top to be taken seriously grin.
TV/MoviesRe: X-factor (Who's Watching) by maedan(f): 11:33pm On Oct 20, 2009
Well spoken, mohawkchic: Rachel never really had her own identity and that could be part of the problem. Rihanna made sure she was established as a star before she decided to shave her hair off!!! grin.

About Joe, not all guys can have big afros like Jamie, or big mouths like Danyl --- or even crazylegs like Olly!!! All Joe has is his voice and a cuteish persona. If only he was droolable like Lloyd, then he'll be a definite shoo-in to win cheesy cheesy wink!!

Wow. Sometimes it's hard to believe you really wrote this (and that's a compliment wink)

Things are coming to a head and I figure it's one of the following:
(A.) Jane is going mental (ga-ga grin)
(B.) Weird_000/Cain is a ghost/spirit/vampire cheesy tongue. (But how come he didn't know she'd just broken up??)

I can hardly imagine how you're going to explain away this mysterious Cyber Lover, but I love this story!! Your writing needs a lot of polishing but it's quite readable. Michael is my favourite grin. Funny enough it's Jane that's the most annoying character cheesy. I feel like smacking her sometimes!
TV/MoviesRe: X-factor (Who's Watching) by maedan(f): 7:27pm On Oct 20, 2009
Lol, no need to threaten me cheesy. I remember the audition quite well. He couldn't sing; his voice was so-so. BUT. He slammed the song on performance level. I prefer Jamie's first audition: that was the real deal. So, as to his popularity in the US--well, as the Americans themselves would say: Big deal grin.
TV/MoviesRe: X-factor (Who's Watching) by maedan(f): 1:15pm On Oct 20, 2009
Kenny_G, Danyl is ok, I just think he's 80% cockiness, 10% charisma and 10% talent grin grin. He gets away with it because he knows how to present himself, unlike poor Rachel.

mystikal, you gat it grin about Jamie being like Kravitz, tho' he'll be a sensitive, lovable version of Mr Rock & Soul. Jamie's song on Friday sent chills down my back. He gets better by the week, at least Simon is doing something right wink.
TV/MoviesRe: Whos The Most Beautiful Lady In Hollywood by maedan(f): 7:53am On Oct 20, 2009
^^Wow. Sanaa is sizzling. I've admired her since she acted as Snipes' mother in Blade. She gets hotter over time.
Christianity EtcRe: What If Hell Is Cancelled. by maedan(f): 7:46am On Oct 20, 2009
Ok @mazaje. To disagree is not a crime wink.

And thanks for the info and good for those Danish, Swedish, Finnish etc who don't believe in hell. But if they don't believe in God too then that's a different story. No one should base their faith/salvation on the fear of anything, certainly not of hell. I'm mainly indifferent to the issue of hell in any case. I do believe there's such a place but it's not the fear of it that makes me serve my God wink. Ok??
Christianity EtcRe: What If Hell Is Cancelled. by maedan(f): 5:01am On Oct 20, 2009
@mazaje I wonder why you're attacking everyone's replies, why can't you state your case and stop trying to argue with everybody/anybody? I don't need to defend my beliefs, I was simply answering the question. Think just how much more evil the world will be if there was no notion of hell, or if it didn't exist. Those that are already bad will be downright iniquitous. So one would need to be even closer to God in order to enjoy His Protection. And that's what I meant.
TV/MoviesRe: X-factor (Who's Watching) by maedan(f): 4:54am On Oct 20, 2009
@mohawkchic, once again you lay it all on the line cheesy cheesy!!! Lol @ "You know what I'm saying" grin; ghetto Whitney. I never knew she was so laid back, almost "razz", like my people will say grin grin.

You're right about the pink and black lippy(though it looked like dark purple) that Rachel is using. She needs to gain some appeal; I know it sounds cliche but a long weave and some feminine makeup will make her look more appealing to the public. They know she's good but not enough are interested in keeping her in. Sorry to say, but look at Alexandra. She beat all those blonde and brunette bombshells that were her rivals to make it to the top - and it wasn't just her great voice/performance. Rachel could still keep her Rihanna style but she just needs to soften the look a bit; right now she seems so intimidating, as @mystikal implied.

grin grin grin
@ sugar pp don't mind them, I always saw the sense in your topic. They must have too, even the die-hard chauvinists who think its we ladies that lack the brain in question undecided cheesy. Coming to a public forum to air your issues is in fact helpful to the readers not just the posters. Even when some people make up fake stories, there is always something to learn. Anyway, sugar pp, don't give up your faith/interest in marriage; it's a good thing in most cases wink.
Christianity EtcRe: What If Hell Is Cancelled. by maedan(f): 5:27am On Oct 19, 2009
Hmmn, if there's no hellfire I'll fear God more because I'll need HIM to protect me from all the killers, robbers etc that will run amok telling themselves there's no hellfire to worry about cheesy.
TV/MoviesRe: X-factor (Who's Watching) by maedan(f): 11:53pm On Oct 18, 2009
^^^Yes o grin. that his mouth is hard to miss, esp when he's hitting those high points and you can see right down deep into his throat cheesy.

@ Whitney Houston shocked shocked. She should learn never to perform live outside the US; the X-factor crew almost didn't have the back-up to handle all her lapses. Simon looked embarrassed, Dermont tried to tactful--- grin. In fact, the camera was not kind to her at all; and the dress!!! Let me stop here because overall the performance was ok wink.
RomanceRe: Next Time When I Go For A Man I'll Be Sure He Comes Equipped With A Brain by maedan(f): 11:33pm On Oct 18, 2009
Sauron, davidylan & TOPE2000, don't get me wrong, of course you can't love a stranger, but you can "fall" for a girl after meeting her, you get talking and you realise she's your kind of girl grin. Then you chase her in earnest so as not to risk missing such a good catch. By then you're head over heels and pray for a positive response. So if she says no, you try to recoup and move on. And if she says yes, then oh happy day cheesy.

@Sauron
"How am i supposed to fall in love with a girl i am yet to ask out?
What if she's already engaged with another man while i am falling in love with her secretly?"

Lol, I didn't know your heart had a gauge or stop button cheesy. So you put your "love" on pause till you're sure she's single/available?? I like your self-control o grin.

RomanceRe: Next Time When I Go For A Man I'll Be Sure He Comes Equipped With A Brain by maedan(f): 11:19pm On Oct 18, 2009
You, (davidylan & Sauron) men are funny. How can you "toast" a girl you're not in love with?? So it's a case of if you fancy her or find her attractive, you ask her out, and only fall in love with her after the relationship is established (God, I hate that word, it's so mean grin). Relationships of nowadays ehhn undecided cheesy.
RomanceRe: Next Time When I Go For A Man I'll Be Sure He Comes Equipped With A Brain by maedan(f): 11:11pm On Oct 18, 2009
@Sauron grin grin - we women can always tell.
@ topic, well from the girl's story you can see that she has been used to the guy giving her all the attention/endearments. So now that he's trying to cool off and shows lack of interest, she's complaining. So my conclusion is that now that he's got the girl he's not so dedicated and it's showing. Girl gats to shout now tongue.

@davidylan
Sauron is right about what?? Clarify!! Hope you're not changing ur spots so soon??LOL.

rotfl@ kellorah
you are soo right grin!! We don't even know our own minds sometimes. But a wise man knows how to play along whether we're blowing hot or cold wink grin.
RomanceRe: Next Time When I Go For A Man I'll Be Sure He Comes Equipped With A Brain by maedan(f): 10:50pm On Oct 18, 2009
shocked@Sauron, "I fall in love only AFTER a relationship is "established", not before--". Wow, you sound really harsh grin!! Girls should be wary of guys like you to even chase them; you're the kind who end up showing the girl pepper if she finally falls in love with you/agrees to the relationship tongue cheesy.
RomanceRe: Next Time When I Go For A Man I'll Be Sure He Comes Equipped With A Brain by maedan(f): 10:41pm On Oct 18, 2009
lol @ Sauron---are you sure you've ever fallen in love grin grin?? Because if you ever seriously have, then my answer would be, to chase her even up till the wedding day - and usually even after!! But if she's doesn't mean that much then please feel free to give her the cool treatment when it suits you undecided cheesy.
RomanceRe: Next Time When I Go For A Man I'll Be Sure He Comes Equipped With A Brain by maedan(f): 10:25pm On Oct 18, 2009
@davidylan, well you said, "I find that largely true", to quote you. So I guessed that you used some "experience" to make your "findings". cheesy

I know this will sound objectionable but sometimes it's the woman's priority to be immature, insecure, attention-seeking, self-absorbed etc, and it's the man's priority to do all the hard work tongue.

Those guys "lucky" enough to get a girl running after them/doing all the chasing, trust me it's not a plus tongue. Never be afraid to pander to your woman's every childish whim, just try and get used to it because it's OOTT( One Of Those Things cheesy)
RomanceRe: Next Time When I Go For A Man I'll Be Sure He Comes Equipped With A Brain by maedan(f): 9:58pm On Oct 18, 2009
@davidylan
How did I know what?? That you're speaking from experience or that men should be in control if they want to keep their women?? grin grin

I usually take some of these topics seriously because there's always one or two points to gain, so we should all respect the OP no matter what you think about the issues brought forward.
RomanceRe: Next Time When I Go For A Man I'll Be Sure He Comes Equipped With A Brain by maedan(f): 9:42pm On Oct 18, 2009
Good advice @ Playboy. However in this case I wish she could ignore him for some time and see if he'll not be the one running after her tongue. Please sugar pp if he wants to play it cool, do play along because the chasing was never a woman's call. However in a more serious and mature relationship, I'll implore you to do what Playboy said grin cheesy

@davidylan
You seem to be speaking from experience cheesy. And you've learnt well because you understand the basic principle: men who take charge win the respect/dedication of their women wink.
TV/MoviesRe: X-factor (Who's Watching) by maedan(f): 9:26pm On Oct 18, 2009
It's sad but I hope Simon isn't to blame for Rachel's unpopularity; he said so many negative things about her, and sometimes the public listen to such things. Well even if she's in the bottom two next week again, she'll still out-sing and out-perform her opposition, because she's one of the few that really has star quality, the so-called "x-factor".
RomanceRe: Next Time When I Go For A Man I'll Be Sure He Comes Equipped With A Brain by maedan(f): 9:17pm On Oct 18, 2009
@sugar pp, well guys keep forgetting that "attention" is girls' food. I'm sure when he was "toasting" you he dared not miss/ignore your call. Well you can keep playing along with his childish games or you could run from him because he does sound immature - at least, much more than you wink wink cheesy.
HealthRe: ~ How Obsessed Are You About Your Weight? ~ by maedan(f): 9:01pm On Oct 18, 2009
Lol^^^^^
You're missing the point though. Being obsessed about your weight doesn't always mean you're overly fit or healthy, but that you worry, are over-conscious etc of ur weight/what u eat. Nigerians might be showing signs of obesity but they could still be obsessing in their own way wink. So no, this is not a rhetoric, I don't think!
TV/MoviesRe: X-factor (Who's Watching) by maedan(f): 8:45pm On Oct 18, 2009
The twins are in shocked!!
Poor Rachel!!!
Poor Rikki too. He's got a great voice, he shouldn't be in the bottom two ever!!
That Stacey gets on my wick but she can sing, that's for sure.
Rachel deserves to be in the bottom this week because her voice hasn't been great live. But it should be the twins next to her, not Rikki. But I guess they don't want all Louis' acts to be out before the poor man comes back tongue grin.

Heyy, who's watching grin??
HealthRe: ~ How Obsessed Are You About Your Weight? ~ by maedan(f): 8:37pm On Oct 18, 2009
How obsessed am I?? On a scale of one to ten-----hmmn----fifteen!! grin
TV/MoviesRe: X-factor (Who's Watching) by maedan(f): 8:18pm On Oct 18, 2009
shocked shocked shocked

Cheryl Cole just now was hot on stage!

The costume, the choreography, the chic - fantastic. I like the song better every time I listen to it, though it didn't seem to suit Cheryl at first. It's almost a "black" song, y'know, a song the young Janet Jackson would have sung. Cheryl even seemed to copy Janet in costume/dance routine. That said, she was great, good for her.

@sugar pp

a summary is always best cheesy.
But if the story tells better in a longer version, then tell it girl! we're all ears wink.
