As much as I abhor his behavior, I think we have a more pressing/urgent issue in Nigeri.

The issue of pedophilism.

Every single day, we read about young girls getting raped and the men evading Justice/consequences of their actions.

No matter how parents are vigilant, they can’t have eyes on their children 24hrs/365.

Please, let’s lend out voices and condemn pedophiles like we condemned gays. This is sad.

Nigeria is a country of 200 million people.
If 20% of 200 million people (40 million) people patronize our local movies, don't you think that is a large market??

You also factor in the revenue generated from streaming accounts like Iroko or netflix.
I personally have iroko account and netflix account.

Nollywood movies will eventually get there but we need to support them and there is need for the government to clamp down on pirates of movie, music and other intellectual works.

Very true... my friend works with unicef and they partnered with lasuth to provide free hiv testing and medications. She confided in me that Nigeria’s Hiv transmission is so high that it should become a state of emergency. There is an urgent need to sensitize our people and even enforce laws to prevent hiv such as the punishment of those that knowingly spread the virus!!

Haba naah...lets be civil. You may strongly disagree with my point of view there is absolutely no need to throw insults my way.

Anyway, I’m not saying that black people are not to blame but if you trace the genesis of most of our problems in Africa, you’ll see it’s largely due to the interference of foreign entities.

Also, there were numerous African leaders that resisted the slave trade and fought the colonialists. Most of them met their unfortunate demise in the hands of the invaders and their coconspirators.

The genesis of most the challenges in Nigeria started from the colonialists. They merged the north and south into a single entity; an entity that favored the north and therefore made it almost impossible for the country to move forward because the North would hate to lose their current upper hand. Classic divide and rule tactics.

Same tactics the Belgians used in Rwanda which unfortunatrly led to the genocide that claimed close to a million lives.

Just like every other race,Blacks are not perfect but let’s call a spade a spade!

BUHARI’s administration needs to empower the EFCC by making them independent and also setting up a special court for EFCC cases.

All forms Election fraud including buying and selling of votes should be made a treasonable offense.

No country can flourish if the voice of the people (through vote) cannot be heard.

If Buhari and his administration can accomplish these very minor things before election, he has my vote!!!!

My brother, my sister look at the foreign sponsored coups and counter coup that plagued Nigeria and most African countries. Especially that of babangida whose regime became a negative turning point for Nigeria.

Look at how they distabilized Libya and the weapons from Libya war empowered various terrorist cells all over Africa.

Look at how they forced Charles Taylor on Liberians. He “escaped” from American jail to become a president.

I can keep going on and on and on but I’ll stop here.

This is not just about celebrities, but to others ladies aswell.

I find it hard to believe that a lady with good attitude and manners will stay till 30 going to 40 without any man to call a husband. We sure know the rate in which an average Nigerian lady gets admirers and toasters by men, what then is stopping these men from marrying them.

The bitter truth is that unmarried ladies in their 30s are synonymous to bad attitude, they should work on themselves, you can only change your ways when you accept your flaws. It sounds funny when they claim career when 90% of the most successful ladies are married and living happily with their kids and husband.

If they don't work on their attitude and manners, if they don't face reality, they'll end up with regrets. That's the truth.

These days, I tend to strongly believe that it’s the ladies with low morals that tend to settle down quicker. Most of the “good girls” from my university days are yet to marry while the so called “runs girls” have settled down with2 - 3 kids.
I know some nice homely girls that are yet to marry and hey in their 30s or approaching!

I have come to realize that it’s simply networking. The “bad girls” are at social events, Bars and clubs, meeting numerous men and bedding anyone she chooses.....

Bro, Mikel isn’t that super rich like you think.
He made about 7-10 million pounds last year. Factor in the 45% tax rate which comes before you pay other bills such as mortgage, home owner tax and things like that. At the end of it all, Mikel is probably left with 1.5 - 2million per annum. That’s not a lot of money. They problem is that we convert this money to naira and think it can buy heaven on earth!!
