Science/Technology / Re: My LG Plasma Refuses To Start Up (Pictured) by Majesticniyi(m): 1:41pm On Jul 31, 2019 |
SuperBlack: This might look like a joke but it happened to me. My LG TV suddenly starting rebooting while I was watching. It would switch itself off and come on again only to shut down and restart without completing the booting cycle. I googled the answer and a tech forum comment said just slap the back. Sounded stupid until I did and the silly thing started working just fine. Later read that it was a result of impartial contact. |

Northeastern: You get time dey reply person wey no even understand wetin mortgage mean Why would I continue paying my landlord's mortgage for him when I can pay almost the same amount and own the house after 25-30years? More so, like someone said, even if something happens and I love my job (assuming insurance doesn't even come into the picture), I can simply sell the house and recover all the money I would I have spent on rent Those not in the western world cant really understand the concept of mortgage as their mentality is that credits are bad. 1 Like |

Whiteshirtsonly: It is allowed to bring a part but you must have a way to prove you really do have the money back home as they occasionally ask for proof. I even advice leaving some back home if you have family ties there. You wouldnt have to look for who to exchange with when you need to send money back home to them. Also, you can sell at a better rate to individuals over time as compared to bringing in USD and converting at ridiculous rates with banks here. 2 Likes |

psalmizt: Your reason for coming to Canada is for permanent residence...simple. You don't have to give any other reason. Better to make your travel plans for March, biko. You would be coming to face the harsh winter cold if you come December and practically no one would volunteer to help you get around during that time, combined with the fact that you arent used to the transit system yet. My advice though, take at your discretion. 15 Likes 3 Shares |

You start with checking hourly for updates, then twice a day, then once daily, then once in a week...till you give up and tell yourself if they dont mail you, no more checking....but you still end up checking everytime you read a PPR story 19 Likes |

SEGLIZ: I read all the previous comments and almost gave up on all the youths in Nigeria till I finally read your comment, we do still have intelligent Nigerians. I'm amazed the average Nairalander cant even comprehend such a straightforward news. I'm not even concerned about the morality or political correctness of the move, just the inability of my fellow youths to comprehend the write up. |

Politics / Re: How Ogun State Prevents Winners Chapel From Repairing Ota Roads by Majesticniyi(m): 4:59pm On May 05, 2019 |
That's how my former company (a multinational) decided to construct the bad stretch of roads causing accidents along the Ibadan-Ife road leading to and from the Plant. They started the first patch and the local government started causing trouble. The company had to abandon the other parts of the project. If no be say I be dey involved, I for say na lie. Nigeria is cursed with bad governance and underdevelopment. 3 Likes 2 Shares |
