It does'nt matter when the funds were collected. Money generating assets like NLG tax are part of the Natioanl treasury.

The money was paid in June which was a clear month after GEJ's exit.

Normaly I don't reply people like you on Nairaland. But I will say this: It does'nt matter whether the monies came in june or july, all assets that generate funds are part of the Nation's treasury. License fees that will be paid to the federal goverment next year is still part of the treasury.

It is on record that govs led by Bukola Saraki and Rotimi Ameachi during the struggle for the liquidation of ECA declared that the ECA was illegal and must be abolished, citing the Nigerian constitution that states that all revenues generated by the federal government must be shared with states and local government. It is amusing to see these same gov accusing the administration of GEJ for depleting the ECA. If not for the duggedness of NOI not to backdown on the Sovereign Wealth fund initiative, the ECA would have been liquidated a long time ago. The govs are only play acting to cover for their own gross failures.

It is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that the crisis in the National Assembly was a reflection of what has been going down within the APC for some time now. The fiasco seem to have started immediately after APC won the Presidential Elections. Tug O War bettween Power blocks. A fight to curtail one man (Tinubu) from becoming too powerful.
No doubt Tinubu has been sidelined by the Daura born Magician after he won the Presidential elections, so in a desperate move to maintain some relevance and influence within APC (Precisely the National working committee of the APC), he had to do a fast one by calling a meeting of NAS members at the ICC in the name of the President. Unfortunately for him, Political Hit men like Atiku, Saraki and the Magician himself were already privy to his game plan. Is there any surprise the President never showed up?
If you think that Buhari is no where involved in this 'Tug O War', then you are sleeping. He is miles buried in it. Forget about what he said about not interfering in NAS leadership tossle. Forget about the news that pa Buhari was angry with Saraki, or that he was boiling violently over what happenned. It is just a window dressing to safe face. Buhari and his right men Atiku together with few others are all partners in crime in what transpired at the National Assembly and by extention, APC show of wits and betrayal.
As already noted by the article, APC should realy count themselves lucky that PDP never made any attemp to go for the Senate Presidency position.

DSS discovers the drink which is making the Daura Dullarddd behave like a Slowpoke!

The men of the State Security Service have discovered an alchoholic beverage which President Mumuhadu Buhari consumes everyday which makes him act slow and unresponsive since his assumption of office.

The discovery was made last night after a tip off by the new DSS acting DG which prompted the men of the SSS to storm the Aso Rock home of Dullardhino and caught him drinking the said alcoholic drink while Dullardhino was breaking his fast after the ramadan prayers.

The beer was confiscated and taken to the DSS headquarters.

This development was said to have angered Daura Dullardd which made him re-appoint the DG to a mere acting DG!

Daura is a very powerful beer which is brewed in the bushes of Daura in Kastina State which is used in Hypnotizing and making both humans and animals lousy! The beer is said to even be strong enough to make very fast cars like Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche travel at a maximum slow speed of 3km per hour when poured into their fuel tank.

APC reacts....

Meanwhile, the All Progressives Party has dismissed the actions of the DSS as a ploy to tarnish the image of the President. Speaking with news men in a telephone conversation, the spokesperson for the party Liar Mohammed insisted that the said beer was Guilder which the label was removed and another "Photoshopped" label tagged Daura was attached to the bottle.

"It is a setup! I know buhari very well...he drinks Guilder which is his favorite beer that he uses in breaking his fast" Lair Mohammed told our journalists.

Attempts to reach the former DG for DSS who has been currently demoted to a mere acting DG because of this development was said to have been unsuccessful as his line was switched off!

My goodness! In one sentance they are calling for party supremacy and discipline to enable the APC led Buhari government deliver dividence of democracy. In another sentence, they are advising the Daura Magician to adopt undemocratic means to fullfil his promises, giving excuses that democracy does not work and will never work in Nigeria.
With these revelations by Sahara Reporters (Tinubu Media Wing), I now conclude 100 percent that APC is a Socialist Party moulded in line with communist ideologies of Lenin and Joseph Stalin.
Party Supremacy or should I say Dictatorship is the hallmark of socialist countries like former USSR, present day China Cuba and North Korea.
One striking characteristics of communist parties the world over is their love for Propaganda. Interestingly enough, APC was formed, brought up and bred lies and propaganda.

You didn't read and don't know that the officer has since been redeployed to the FCT command to continue his work as a police officer. This means that he was no longer the bodyguard of Jonathan's wife.
There is no doubt that the officer was privy to some sensitive information and damaging evidence on their criminal acts. Hence, they had him killed.

Allow the police do their job.

In a bit to deflect attention from the Buhari led government that is already in deep confusion, the Leadership news paper has to cast more confusion into the polity by twisting the truth surrounding the assasination of PEJ's former security personel to suit their aims. Make it appear as though she (PEJ) was the one responsible for the killing. But the question is, why will PEJ kill her own personal body gaurd and for what aim huh

Will anyone be stupid enough to assasinate someone close to him/her without raising suspicion about their possible involement huh

Looks to me like someone somewhere is trying hard to link this latest political killing to PEJ.
We are watching development intensively.

There's nothing smart about Northern Politics. Their political modus oparandi had always been about decied, betrayal and outright rebellion. They lie their way up without any iota of shame or morality to acheive their aims. A case of use and dump if you like.
The name Born to Rule (BTR) was not just for political jokes. It is a name that vividly captured and defined their true nature. All the North wanted was power at all cost. Now that they have it, they don't give a damn about anyone else. This is what some of us warned about before the elections but no one cared to listen.

Asuming Saraki never step on toes to become Senate President, this news would'nt have been made public. He will be potrayed as a saint in APC. Now that he went against the wishes of the lords, he became a thief.
