Education / Re: Are People With Bushy Hair Allowed Into Waec Exam by MalaikaEH(f): 8:32pm On Aug 23, 2020
Supervisor may not mind the hair nor even your dressing, but your face must match the one on the photocard against your name. Else, you might be arrested for impersonation.

Besides, you should worry more about whether your school authority will allow it or not.

Education / Re: WAEC: Imo Schools Charge Students N2,000 Per Subject To Allow Cheating - SR by MalaikaEH(f): 5:38am On Aug 18, 2020
I don't get why Sahara Reporters have to mention Imo state in this news. Many schools in imo don't do this exam cheat and many others in Nigeria do the cheat.
Romance / Re: Please Help (advice) I Don't Understand Myself Anymore (depression) by MalaikaEH(f): 9:47am On Aug 09, 2020
What exactly do you want us to advise you on? The life you described above is above average in today Nigeria. The only issue I can see is that you are not satisfied with what you have. Many out there still don't have any kind of job, neither do they have a girlfriend not to talk of the girl you described.

Be contented with what you have.

Your story is interesting. I think your mind has already told you what to do, but you want to be convinced. To clear your doubts, since you are thinking of marriage, here is my two pence.
You will never trust that girl again, even if she lives in the same room with you. That will rob you of your peace of mind.

Also, create reasons and excuses why you can not give her money all the time. For some girls, the real colour shows after sometime of not getting the expected funds.
Education / Re: Unicalabar Student Commit Suicide, After Duped Of N100,000 by MalaikaEH(f): 4:07pm On Aug 08, 2020
Every conversation on or outside social media is a suspect until convincingly proven otherwise.
Even if they present themselves in your mummy's name and picture. Don't be in a haste.

May her soul find rest.

Aside, OP, find someone to help you edit your grammar next time.
Politics / Re: Aisha Buhari Flown To Dubai For Medical Treatment - Daily Trust by MalaikaEH(f): 2:59am On Aug 08, 2020
No illness is ordinary, even headache. If the headache is in your own head, you will understand and value it more than news on TV or radio regarding anything else.

So, I also wish her quick recovery.

He will cross all the bridges to confess his feelings to you. If he can not do this simple task, don't mind him. He is having another motive, which is not what you are asking now.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Trump Issues Orders Banning TikTok And Wechat From Operating In 45 by MalaikaEH(f): 5:37pm On Aug 07, 2020
Nigeria should ban all of them, both US Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, Google, etc and the Chinese Tik Tok, wechat, etc for security reasons too.
All of us should join Nairaland and make it better. After all, Nairaland senior Facebook in age.

Oh! But, come to think of it. The money we are owing them will not allow us to ban anything.

IgboSomalia:

Nyamiris are blockheads who don't expect anything good from their Idiotic leaders. Their only hope of survival is Lagos and Tinubu is their god. That is why you see them running to Lagos every January.

Call it whatever you like.
if a person lives in Lagos, pays his taxes and levies to Lagos state govt and not to Abia state govt, that person should count himself as a bonafide Lagosian and should be able to ask questions about what the tax he paid is being spent on.
I am sure that you never paid tax in your life. That is why you don't know that when Lagos boasts of high IGR, some people pay the money.

U can start worshipping dogs, bro

What is the different between worshipping dogs and worshiping stones? I am sure that you did not read the story or you did not understand what you read.
Culture / Re: Olubayo Adesola: Dogs Are Not Reared In Ara, Osun State. It's A Taboo by MalaikaEH(f): 12:17pm On Aug 03, 2020
The story would have made much more sense if they only banned killing/eating of dogs and allowed dogs to live, flourish and even be worshiped in the town, not just the stone.

Politics / Re: Repentant Boko Haram Fighter: I Can't Remember How Many People I Have Killed by MalaikaEH(f): 8:39pm On Aug 02, 2020
No wonder why BH leadership are dragging who will be in command. The higher your post and the more people you kill, the better your reward from Nigerian govt will be. This is painful. I was even imagining that the rehabilitated ones were BH errand boys, not knowing that they are entrenched killers. How will this one that has tasted and fed with human blood not become tasty again?

Time will tell.
Family / Re: Need Your Advice On What To Do About My Late Sister Children by MalaikaEH(f): 1:51pm On Aug 02, 2020
Bestmitiu2019

Go marry and have your own children. If you are old enough that the only solution you can come up with is how to kill a man over how he chooses to bring up his own children, you are old enough to start your own family. Leave the man and his children alone. Mind your business.

Politics / Re: FG Orders NIPOST To Desist From Courier License Increment by MalaikaEH(f): 3:35pm On Jul 25, 2020
What were they thinking before the increase? At this Covid19 era, any sensible govt will do all they can to get more investments in haulage and courier service, so that goods can be delivered at people's door steps. This is why the markets are crowded.
Politics / Re: Rhoda Iliya: FG Can Not Afford ₦300 Billion N-Power Beneficiaries’ Demands by MalaikaEH(f): 10:30am On Jul 25, 2020
Reference:

If you truly, truly used the money for self development how then can you be in a precarious situation. At least you should have left life support to the emergency ward status which is better.

But I understand without proper vision and guidance this will happen. If my daddy always gave me a pouch of cash for school fees right from kindergarten as his only obligation towards my education I certainly will not have seen the four walls of any school.

Precarious means being jobless in a country like Nigeria.

You mentioned you had a dad who pays for you and even gives pocket money, no matter how little you assume it is. I interpret that to mean that you have a golden spoon at birth. Obviously, you don't know what it means to go hungry. If you do, you will know that a person with responsibilities can't save nor invest anything out of N30k in Nigeria. Some of us struggled with the fees before we can finish school. Then we have to help younger ones to continue in school with the same npower N30k. Some families depend solely on that money such that it was impossible to save a kobo. Personally, I think FG and Npower should quietly end the program since they have made up their mind to do so, and avoid making statements like this in the press, especially when they don't have any positive alternative to offer. I will never forget that Rhoda Iliya is the first person who released the news that the program was going to end.

This Rhoda Iliya must be a wicked person. Can't she just shut her mouth? All her statements tend to cause High BP for the people that are already in a precarious situation.
