obiZEAL:
I get u point...
But again if Christ has abolished all these acts then what are they still doing in the pages of the bible?

And again when people like my boss accuse Islam of being a religion of war, they backup their claims with one statement from the koran...how can one statement from the koran represent what a religion stands for?
When you live by the divine law of God, and you break it, God will not ignored it,those verses you quoted that God killed, who are the people God killed? Are they innocent? You claimed to be a christian and wanted to know the truth, instead of you to search the scripture, you went and search the internet.

All the verses you quoted up there are the verse God pronounced judgement on the sinner, you even went all the way and make a case for witches and wizard including evil men, seriously? You quote a verse questioning God why he will destroyed the idols worshipper,my good friend. You are not a christian.

here what God said to the isrealite;

"It is not for your righteousness or for
the uprightness of your heart that
you are going to possess their land,
but it is because of the WICKEDNESS OF
THESE NATION that the LORD your God
is driving them out before you, in
order to confirm the oath which the
LORD swore to your fathers, to
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
( Deuteronomy 9:5)

Okay, how "wicked" could those people
have been? let find out;

"You shall not behave thus toward the
LORD your God, for every abominable
act which the LORD hates they have
done for their gods; for they even
BURNS THEIRS SONS AND DAUGHTER IN THE FIRE TO THEIR gods ( Deuteronomy
12:31)

The wickedness of these people is
confirmed in other verses of the Bible.3
So we see that these people are not quite
as innocent as the Muslims would like
you to believe. The fact that these people
practiced child sacrifice is also confirmed
in the secular writings of the Greeks.

your heart is sealed with hot iron,it is only the grace of God which he bestows upon his son Jesus Christ,it saddened me you guys don't believe in his grace that why it will be difficult to seth someone like you free, but with God all things are possible.

The hadith you post indicated that the angel revealed the revelation with violence conducts,isn't it strange to you that only muhammed this angel acts violence on? Angel Gabriel appear to Mary zackaria there is no mention of violence or the angel press the receiver so hard.now take for example this incident in both the bible and quran;

Mizanul MizanuŸl Haqq, page 345:
“After an accession of shivering and
shutting his eyes, there used to come
over him what resembled a swoon,
his FACE WOULD FOAM and he would
ROAR LIKE A YOUNG CAMEL.”

Comperd it with this devil possessed man in the bible;

Mark 9:20: “So they brought him.
When the spirit saw Jesus, it
immediately threw the boy into a
convulsion. He fell to the ground and
rolled around, FOAMiNG at the
mouth.”

Mastery in the Qur’anic Sciences, by al-
Suyuti, 1:45-46:
Zaid b. Thabit said: “When the
inspiration came down upon
Muhammad, he himself became
heavier. One time, his thigh fell
against my thigh, and I swear to God,
I have never found anything that was
heavier than the thigh of
Muhammad. Whenever the
inspiration came upon him, while
he was on his camel, it limped, and
its LEG WAS THOUGHT TO BE BROKEN;
and sometimes it squatted.”

Even the people do not trust his revelation so they called he(muhammed) a mad man;

Surah 15:6: “And they say: O thou
unto whom the Reminder is revealed,
lo! Thou art indeed a
MADMAN” (Pickthall)

Read this other two incident in both the bible and quran,both men were possessed by evil spirit and wanted to commit suicide;

Ibn Ishaq’s Sirat Rasul Allah:
So I (Muhammad) read it, and he
(Gabriel) departed from me. And I
awoke from my sleep, and it was as
though these words were written on
my heart. Now none of God’s
creatures was more horrible to me
than a poet or a man possessed: I
could not even look at them. I
thought, “Woe is me poet or
possessed - Never shall Quraysh say
this of me! I will go to the top of the
MOUNTAIN AND THROW MYSELF DOWN
that I may KILL MYSELF and gain rest.”

Here we see muhammed wanted to kill himself because the devil impassonated angel possessed muhammed,same thing happened to a man who was possessed by evil spirit;

Mark 5:5-9: And when Jesus had
come out of the boat, immediately
there met him out of the tombs a
man with an UNCLEAN SPIRIT…And
always, night and day, he was in the
mountains and in the tombs, CRYING
OUT AND CUTING HIMSELF WITH STONE.
For He (Jesus) said to him, ”Come out
of the man, unclean spirit!”

There are a lot of evidence to prove ISLAM is satanic infacte I do you guys some favour in keeping some devilish teaching in the quran.

Tola9ja. Narrow is the road that lead to life, few there will go in there but broad is the way that lead to hell, many will go in there.all the people that converted to ISLAM never learn the religion very well. I,my self ,I have a muslim barground my dad name is Ahmed, there is many many thing you guys don't know about Islam, only God open your eyes to see the satanic manipulation in the quran.

In the Bible, whenever a revelation is
given to a prophet through the agency of angels, there is not a single instance
where the angel possesses the
individual. Neither does the angel
physically harm the recipient of the
messages or cause that individual to
foam at the mouth or make
uncontrollable grunts and noises or
become suicidal. However, these descriptions are common in demonic activities, whereby the unclean spirit enters into the individual causing him to display certain characteristics similar to the ones described here;

Mishkat IV, page 360:
“‘And indeed I saw him while the
revelation descended upon him on
an intensely cold day; THEN IT LEFT
HIM while his brow steamed with
sweat.’”

Here it was clearly written the angel possessed him"then left him" after the revelation

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 1,
Number 3:
The Prophet added, “ THE ANGEL
CAUGHT ME (forcefully) and PRESSED
ME SO HARD that I could not bear it
any more. He then released me and
again asked me to read and I replied,
‘I do not know how to read.’
Thereupon HE CAUGHT ME AGAIN and
pressed me a second time till I
could not bear it any more. He then
released me and again asked me to
read but again I replied, ‘I do not
know how to read (or what shall I
read)?’ Thereupon he CAUGHT ME FOR
THE THIRD time and pressed me, and
then released me and said, ‘Read in
the name of your Lord, who has
created (all that exists) has created
man from a clot.

Here,we read the angel violently attack him.

Ibn Ishaq’s Sirat Rasul Allah:
So I (Muhammad) read it, and he
(Gabriel) departed from me. And I
awoke from my sleep, and it was as
though these words were written on
my heart. Now none of God’s
creatures was more horrible to me
than a poet or a man possessed: I
could not even look at them. I
thought, “WOE IS ME POET OR
POSSESSED - Never shall Quraysh say
this of me! I will go to the top of the
mountain and throw myself down
that I may KILL MYSELF and gain rest.”

The evidences from Muslim sources
themselves point to the conclusion that:
(1) The revelations Muhammad actually
received, did not come from Jehovah, the
true God.
(2) The spirit that spoke to Muhammad is
clearly not the angel Gabriel but an
impersonating demon that delivered
contradictory messages to Muhammad.
Muhammad was deceived and victimized
by the impersonating spirit because he
was unacquainted with the knowledge of
the true God. Lacking knowledge, he
believed every utterance of this spirit.
(3) The spirit that spoke to Muhammad
motivated him to commit gross acts of
wickedness and indecency.

So it's ok and perfectly normal for Paul, the founder of Christianity, to public recite ,verbatim , a popular poem in praise of Zeus, the foremost of the pagan Greek godshuh

So it would be s similarly ok for Pauline MOGs like Adeboye or Oyedepo to recite, in the pulpit, popular poems in praise of Yoruba gods?
You don't see a problem with that??
OK.

This is what happens when you argue aimlessly, without even knowing what you are arguing for or against.
how is Paul a founder of Christianity? Can a follower anoint the founder? If you want to prove atheists are morally good without God then you should not be bias in your argument.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60,
Number 23:
Narrated By ‘Asim bin Sulaiman: I
asked Anas bin Malik about Safa and
Marwa (i.e. two mountains at Mecca).
Anas replied, “We used to consider
(i.e. going around) them a custom
of the PRE-ISLAMIC PERIOD OF
IGNORANCE, so when Islam came, we
gave up going around them. Then
Allah revealed, ‘Verily, Safa and
Marwa (i.e. two mountains at
Mecca) are among the SYMBOLS OF
Allah. So it is not HARMFUL of those
who perform the Hajj of the House
(of Allah) or perform the Umra to
ambulate (Tawaf) between
them.
’” ( Surah 2:158) [End of Quote]
Surah 2:158: “Lo! (the mountains) As-
Safa and Al-Marwah are among the
indications of Allah. It is therefore NO
SIN for him who is on pilgrimage to
the House (of Allah) or visiteth it, to
go around them ( as the pagan
custom is).” (Pickthall)
How can the very same two mountains
that were sacred to the PAGAN become
the “SYMBOLS OF Allah” all of a sudden?
Moreover, how is it that the very same
pagan ritual of running between the two
hills is also retained in Islam? In
addition, why was the Arab pagan ritual
of going around the Ka’ba seven times,
also retained in Islam?
In the Hindu marriage rite of Saptapadi,
the married couple circumnavigate the
fire seven times. In the Islamic ritual of
Tawaf, Muslims also circumnavigate the
Ka’ba seven times. In both of these
rituals, religious phrases are repeated
during the circumambulation. Some of
the rituals that Muslims follow during the
Hajj are the same as the rites observed
by Hindus in their worship of Shiva.
SIMILARITIES OF ISLAM AND HINDU
Take note of some of the striking
similarities:
(1) Both Hindu and Muslim male
devotees are required to shave their
heads during their pilgrimage.
(2) And similar to their Hindu
counterparts, male Muslim pilgrims are
also required to dress in a garment
consisting of two sheets of white cloth.
This type of garment is known as Dhoti in
Hinduism.
(3) Just as the worshippers of Shiva
observe a rite in which they walk around
their object of reverence seven times,
Muslim pilgrims also walk around the
Ka’ba seven times.
(4) Both their objects of reverence are
Black Stones. In Hinduism, the Black
Stone is known as Shiva lingam.
(5) While Hindus drink water from the
Ganga River as part of the sacred rites in
their worship of Shiva, Muslims drink
from the Well of Zamzam during the
Hajj.
(6) Additionally, the Crescent moon,
which is associated with the Hindu deity
Shiva, is also a symbol for Islam. In the
Hindu portrayal of the Shiva symbol, the
crescent moon is always painted across
his forehead. Moreover, in every
portrayal of Shiva, there is always a
depiction of a snake curled around his
neck. Weirdly, in pre-Islamic times, Allah
is supposed to have sent a snake to
guard the treasures of the Ka’ba.
It may surprise Muslims to know that
Umar, the 2nd Caliph of Islam, had
reservations about kissing the pagan
Black Stone.

Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born into a family of pagans, he practiced pure monotheism and later received his first revelation at the age of 40, he started preaching Islam thereafter. You wouldn't expect him to practice Islam when it was not even in existence , would you?So, what exactly is the issue here? Oh! I forgot you never have content in your discussion. Just nonsense.

Regarding the 99 names of Allah, Muslims regard God with the best attributes of His, such as Ar-Raheem- The Merciful, Ar Razzak- The Provider, Al Hakeem- The Wise. Again, what is the point here? I forgot yet again, your arguements always lack point!

And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways; (The Noble Quran, 22:26-27)"

The Black Stone is NOT sacred, the practice of kissing it by Muslims is only a Suna, i.e. Muslims' emulation of the Prophet's practices (peace be on him).

BUKHARI:

Volume 2, Book 26, Number 667:

Narrated 'Abis bin Rabia: Umar came near the Black Stone and kissed it and said "NO DOUBT, I KNOW THAT YOU ARE A STONE AND CAN NEITHER BENEFIT ANYONE NOR HARM ANYONE. Had I not seen Allah's Apostle kissing you I would not have kissed you."

Muslims DO NOT worship the black stone. The tawaaf takes place on 3 floors whereas the black stone is only on the ground floor. A greater percentage of Muslims doing tawaaf do not even touch or kiss it. So, go ahead with your baseless rants!!

Ifeanyi aka Ifeann aka parisbookaddict, why don't you challenge your fellow christian Catholics for kissing the statue of Mary? You're only obsessed with Muslims right? wink
Ibn `Umar said: “Allah’s Messenger
(peace and blessings be upon him)
faced the Black Stone, touched it,
and then placed his lips on it and
wept for a long time.” Likewise,
`Umar also wept for a long time.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be
upon him) said: ‘ O `Umar, this is the
place where one should shed
tears.”’ (Reported by Al-Hakim who
considers it a sound Hadith with a
sound chain of authorities)

Muhammad touched and kissed the
Black stone. He “placed his lips on it
and wept for a long time.” If this is not
idolatry, then what is it? In view of his
pagan past, Muhammad needed
something tangible that connects him to
Allah. Thus, he submitted to idolatry.
That is why he also stated that the Black
Stone “is the place where one should
shed tears.” And Umar gave in to blind
allegiance.

God warned the Israelites to avoid an entrapment of Satan – an entrapment that Islam, centuries later, failed to escape.

Leviticus 26:1: “Do not make for
yourselves worthless idols. You must
not erect for yourselves a carved
statue or a sacred pillar and you
must not put a STONE as a sacred
showpiece in your land to bow
down toward it. I am Jehovah your
God.”

Can any warning be clearer than this? It
is commonly taught that Judaism,
Christianity and Islam are the three
monotheistic world religions, and many a time it is implied that all the adherents of these three religions pray to the same God. Nothing could be further from the truth than this. Islam is heathenism in monotheistic form. There is no place for any form of idolatry, whatsoever, in Christianity.

1 John 5:21: “Guard yourselves
from idols.”
This gives us a legitimate reason to reject Islam.

malvisguy212:
Bible record shows that at the very beginning of his ministry, Jesus
encountered a spirit creature who confronted him with the sole
intention of breaking his integrity. Jesus was destined to become the
cornerstone of the Christian faith and Satan wanted to destroy the
foundation upon which Christianity was to be built. However, Jesus
foiled the plans of Satan by not submitting to his crafty designs. And Satan fled. The full account of Jesus’ encounter with Satan can be read
at Matthew 4:1-11.

At the beginning of his calling as Allah’s messenger, Muhammad too
came into contact with a spirit creature in the cave of Hira. This
encounter terrified Muhammad. He became convinced that the spirit
creature was a demon. And Muhammad fled. However, he was later
led to believe that this spirit creature was an angelic messenger from
Allah – a medium to receive revelations from Allah. Was Muhammad deceived?
If the angelic messenger who spoke to Muhammad was truly sent by
God, then Muhammad is the first person in recorded history to
mistaken a “messenger of God” for a demon. According to his own
testimony, he at first thought that the angel was a demon, from whom
he ran and hid in fear. Muhammad only realized his “error” after his
wife – a business woman, who never saw or heard the supernatural messenger – convinced him otherwise.Muhammad thought he was possessed by a
demon, until his wife reassured him that he had become a prophet.
Through Khadijah’s persuasion, he came to believe that he had
received a divine mission from God.

The most important difference between the callings of God’s prophets
in the Bible and Muhammad’s calling is that there is not a single
incident in the Bible where someone confused the calling of God with
that of Satan. When God spoke, not one of those called by Him ever
said: “I wonder if this is from God or Satan?” In all cases, the calling of
God was so convincing, so conclusive and so authoritative that the recipients of the divine mission were immediately certain. There was
no question as to who originated the call. Neither was there a need for
the assurance of anyone else. The divine callings experienced by the
prophets of the true God were completely different from the one
experienced by Muhammad. Jesus Christ gave the following warning: Matthew 12:31: “Therefore I say unto you, every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men; but the blasphemy against the holy spirit shall not be forgiven.” One of the unforgivable sins against the Holy Spirit is to ascribe the works of God to Satan. Coming to Muhammad, we are left with two
options. One: Muhammad was wrong when he concluded that the calling of God was from Satan. Two: Muhammad was right when he concluded that the calling, which came through the angel, was from
Satan. If Muhammad was wrong when he interpreted the calling of God as coming from Satan, then he ensnared himself by ascribing the works of
God to the Devil. And by claiming that Islam is built on the foundation
of Judaism and Christianity, Muhammad placed himself under the
divine judgment of the Holy Bible. According to the divine laws of the
Holy Bible, he blasphemed against the Holy Spirit and thus committed
the unforgivable sin. However, if Muhammad was right and the angelic visitor was indeed from Satan, then a false religion began in
the cave that day – a religion inspired by none other than Satan
himself. Either option disqualifies Muhammad as a prophet of the true
God. And at the same instant, Islam is disqualified as the religion of the
true God.

The Qur’an claims to be the eternal
Revelation of God. If true, how can an
eternal Book of Allah have such time-
bound revelations in it? The Qur’an itself admits that some of its verses were abrogated and replaced by others
verses.

To abrogate means to abolish, annul,
rescind, repeal or revoke. The Qur’an is
the only religious book that abrogates its own teachings. The concept of abrogation in the Qur’an is that Allah reveals a verse in the Qur’an that invalidates an earlier verse in the same Qur’an. This may lead to numerous difficulties for the readers of the Qur’an. In fact, it raises many questions. For example:

1. How can a Muslim know what is
abrogated and what is not?
2. Since the abrogated verses still exist
in the Qur’an, what is the use of
these abrogated verses for Muslims
now?
3. Would not this pose a problem for
the ordinary readers of the Qur’an to
verify what is abrogated and what is
not?
4. How would an average Muslim know
what is abrogated and what is not,
when even scholar disagree among
themselves as to the numbers of
verses that are abrogated?

However, if the Qur’an is the genuine
Word of God, then the commandments
written in it must by no means be
abrogated. Its contents must remain
intact and its messages unchanged. And
amazingly Allah agrees:

Surah 6:115: “The word of your Lord
is complete, in truth and justice.
Nothing shall abrogate His words.
He is the Hearer, the
Omniscient.” (Khalifa)
In other word, nothing can change is word. However, note the contradiction in Surah 2:106:

“Whatever verse we shall abrogate,
or cause (thee) to forget, we will
bring a better one than it, or one
like unto it. Dost thou not know that
God is almighty?” (Sale)

The concept of “abrogation” in the
Qur’an is that Allah reveals a latter verse that both supersedes and annuls an earlier verse in the same Qur’an.
Abrogation means to annul or cancel
something with appropriate or legal
authority. In this case, the authority is
none other than Allah himself. Surah
2:106 is central to the doctrine of
abrogation that is taught in Islam. Why
does an all-wise God need to reveal
“better” or “similar” verses to replace
verses that he had inspired only a few
years or even days earlier? Surah 2:106
is clearly making the claim that Allah will change and cause the older verses to be forgotten by revealing better verses or verses similar in kind. To emphasize the point, Allah states that he has power over all things.

The quran is disorderly chronological arrange One example of the disorderly chronology is that Surahs 2:193, 2:216 and 2:217 were revealed at the beginning of Muhammad’s arrival in
Medina. And it took another six years to
reveal Surahs 2:190, 2:191 and 2:192. Yet Surah 2:193 (which was revealed six
years earlier) was inserted to follow
Surah 2:192. How could it then be known which contradicting verses were the more authoritative? Without context and chronology, the “abrogated” and
“abrogator” verses render the entire
Qur’an irrelevant. For example, if one
verse encourages slavery and another
condemns it, which is to be believed and followed?
Truly there is a lot of questions we need to ask, the quran is not the word of God.

Why are you asking me to proof what is EXPRESSLY stated in the bible? Have you opened your bible to confirm?

Jeremiah 8:8
New Living Translation
"'How can you say, "We are wise because we have the word of the LORD," when your teachers have twisted it by writing lies?"

English Standard Version
“How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie."

It's also in Deuteronomy 31:25-29 where Moses (peace be upon him) predicted the corruption/tampering of the Law (Bible) after his death.

Was I the one who inserted those passages into the bible ??
how is this an answer to my question? I believe by now you should notice the lies that being told here.

Jeremiah was a weeping prophet, the teacher of the law don't believe in his prophecy,Jeremiah 8:8 was not talking about SCRIPTURE,it was talking about the law,the bible was not written by teachers of the law and the verse was talking about them.Jeremiah appears as
foreshadowing the prophet of Nazareth
( Matthew 23:2-12)
2saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees
have seated themselves in the chair of
Moses; 3therefore all that they tell you,
do and observe, but do not do according
to their deeds; for they say things and do
not do them. 4“They tie up heavy
burdens and lay them on men’s
shoulders, but they themselves are
unwilling to move them with so much as
a finger. 5“But they do all their deeds to
be noticed by men; for they broaden
their phylacteries and lengthen the
tassels of their garments. 6“They love the
place of honor at banquets and the chief
seats in the synagogues, 7and respectful
greetings in the market places, and
being called Rabbi by men. 8“But do not
be called Rabbi; for One is your Teacher,
and you are all brothers. 9“Do not call
anyone on earth your father; for One is
your Father, He who is in heaven. 10“Do
not be called leaders; for One is your
Leader, that is, Christ. 11“But the
greatest among you shall be your
servant. 12“Whoever exalts himself shall
be humbled; and whoever humbles
himself shall be exalted.

Now, can you answer my question.

It is the word of God but has been twisted and full of lies. The bible confirms it...

Jeremiah 8:8

“How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie."

See Also Deuteronomy 31:25-29 where Moses (peace be upon him) predicted the corruption/tampering of the Law (Bible) after his death. The Book of Moses predicted that the Law (Bible) will get corrupted. The Book of Jeremiah which came approximately 826 years after did indeed confirm this corruption.
very good, you admits it is the word of God but has been change,I want you to answer the following question and see where you will end up.if you are sincere you will notice satanic manipulation in Allah word.
1.when was the bible corrupted?
If it was before islam, why would Allah
refer Muhammad to something that is
Corrupted to make confirmation?
2 If it was after Muhammad had died, how was he able to receive the revelation that the Scripture (Torah and Injeel) had been corrupted ?
3. The quran confirms that the Scripture
was a clear proof in writings. This means
there were copies in circulation. How
possible all copies vanished without
anyone having a copy anywhere? You
should by now discover a lie is told.
4. Why would God be so weak as to allow man throw away His words before He would vow to protect the subsequent
revelations? Did He learn from experience?

I tell you the truth,if you answer this questions properly you will discovered sooo many lies. Thank you.

Hahahahahahahaha why am i not surprised grin

ok let me give more new testament examples .. grin

You would think that Jesus and the
New Testament would have a
different view of slavery, but slavery
is still approved of in the New
Testament, as the following passages
show.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters
with deep respect and fear. Serve them
sincerely as you would serve Christ.
(Ephesians 6:5 NLT)
Christians who are slaves should
give their masters full respect so that
the name of God and his teaching will
not be shamed. If your master is a
Christian, that is no excuse for being
disrespectful. You should work all the
harder because you are helping
another believer by your efforts.
Teach these truths, Timothy, and
encourage everyone to obey them. (1
Timothy 6:1-2 NLT)

Oya go on and start twisting again as usual... grin
Holy lies..

Just say what is wrong is wrong and stop making a shameful show of yourself here with these your desperate attempt to white lie the obvious... boss you guys should be honest for once and call a spade a spade
The Epistles of St. Paul was not a prophesy or commandment infacte Paul was not a prophet he was a teacher the disciples were only advice to continue the teaching of Jesus christ.but the books in the old testament was a commandment from God and I Gave you many verses were God seth law against slavery.

Paul is teaching obedient to the church, the book did not teaches only about slave but every other aspects of obedient,it is the same thing in the old testament, master has rule that will protect him the same thing goes to slaves, children e.t.c read the whole verse and you will understand the content.

6:5-9 The duty of servants is summed up in one word, obedience. The servants of old were generally slaves. The apostles were to teach servants and masters their duties, in doing which evils

Infacte read what verse 9 say;

9 And masters, treat your slaves in the
same way. Do not threaten them, since
you know that he who is both their
Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him.

falsified my claimed if you can.

Infacte this verse proof that there was poverty back then and people usually sold them self ;

Liviticus 25:39 “‘If any of your fellow Israelites become poor and sell themselves to you, do not make them work as slaves.

And verse 47 to 49 say;
47 “‘If a foreigner residing among you
becomes rich and any of your fellow
Israelites become poor and sell
themselves to the foreigner or to a
member of the foreigner’s clan, 48 they
retain the right of redemption after they
have sold themselves. One of their
relatives may redeem them: 49 An uncle
or a cousin or any blood relative in their
clan may redeem them. Or if they
prosper, they may redeem themselves.

All this verse indicated that the people are living in poverty that God allow them to sold there self into slave and God provide law to guide this slave.

However, you may purchase male or
female slaves from among the
foreigners who live among you. You
may also purchase the children of
such resident foreigners, including
those who have been born in your
land. You may treat them as your
property, passing them on to your
children as a permanent inheritance.
You may treat your slaves like this, but
the people of Israel, your relatives,
must never be treated this way.
(Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)

oya start twisting it grin... seriously dude i doubt if you have even read ur own bible..
The Bible denounces slavery as sin and
goes as far to put slave traders in the
same boat as murderers (1 Timothy 1:10)

Back in the days of Leviticus slavery was
sanctioned due to economic reasons.
Back then, there were no such thing as
bankruptcy laws so people would sell
themselves into slavery to rectify debts.
A craftsman could use his skills to
literally "pay off" a debt. Or a convicted
thief could make restitution by serving as a slave. (Exodus 22:3) Jacob sold himself for seven good years to get the woman of his choice but his uncle trick him and with different woman he has no intention to married, still Jacob volunteers for another seven years just to get recheal and he get her.we can see that even Jacob who is favour by God get a harsh treatment.

The Bible recognizes the reality of
slavery, but it never promotes the
practice of slavery. It was the biblical
principles that ultimately led to the
overthrow of slavery, both in ancient
Israel .

"He who kidnaps a man, whether he
sells him or he is found in his
possession, shall surely be put to
death." ( Exodus 21:16)

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is
neither slave nor free man, there is
neither male nor female; for you are all
ONE in Christ Jesus. ( Galatians 3:28)

knowing that whatever good thing each
one does, this he will receive back from
the Lord, whether SLAVE or FREE.
( Ephesians 6:cool
