I very knew the contrary position of most christians concerning Mohammed and Islam, but I wanted to know what God had to say concerning it. So apart from what God told me concerning that after I sincerely asked Him questions in that respect, I have also confirmed what He said with what I have seen in the Koran and concerning Mohammed, and this is the result of that.

The reason I did that was so as not to find myself working against God on such matters as those of the House of God did concerning Jesus while He was on Earth, for they were so sure they were right that Jesus had a devil, was a blasphemer of God's name, and not of God etc. even though it was plain sentiments.

So as much as it's easy today for us to say we believe Him, I believe it is also easy to continue in the ways of such ones working against God with respect to others.

Therefore I don't want to be a party to that but to be like the disciples who chose not to follow the paths of sentiments or popular opinion but the Truth.

Read the Quranic verse again, Allah is the one talking but in the last sentence it was the response of the people. the verse is in harmony with the passage that deny the son ship of Jesus as the son of God .

God revealed most things about Jesus to Mohammed but left out a key detail that He was the Son of God because the Islamic faith was meant to be at Abrahamic level at the first stage.

If Jews had knowledge of what God revealed to to Mohammed concerning Jesus, such as that He was born of a virgin they would have believed He was the promised Messiah and the Son Of God, because it was prophesied in their scriptures.

But they didn't because they didn't have the knowledge, while Mohammed who had the knowledge but didn't have the prophecy.

According to this Quranic verse, the reason for Allah’s determination to “destroy” the Jews and the Christians is because of their supposedly false beliefs. EZRA!!! son of Allah ? Of course, the claim of Allah in Surah 9:30 is absolutely false. Never in the history of the Jews did they ever claim or believe that Ezra is the son of God.

Allah is different from the God of the bible.

To be honest, I wish I had gotten to know Him much much earlier, and if possible all through my whole life, because God is the best thing that I had ever known and the best thing that had ever happened to me, past, present and even future.

And that is not flattery by any means, infact it's a huge understatement, as mere words cannot even describe Him. He's just too good to be true.

And I began to see why those that truly got to know Him in the past, wouldn't trade Him or His position for anything else, but would do or give anything to keep Him, because God just too much, walahi. So once you truly get a taste of Him, you'd never want to let Him go, because you become hooked for life, and just can't get enough of Him.

So despite that God wasn't my original my target, having come to know Him, He has won over my heart, soul and mind, that my target is now to please Him and be as close to His heart as possible.

That's why my target is no longer heaven, but He who dwells in it.

I have a problem that's been disturbing my peace. But I need to give you guys a prelude to better understand my predicament.

I have been a Christian from birth. But I have never settled well with all the teachings and dogma of religion, any one for that matter, but I haven't been biased either.
I only go to church occasionally.
My recent romantic experiences haven't been rosy, most girls out there are only interested in who to suck dry and I frankly do not have patience for bullshit time wasters.
So recently I met a beautiful soul, she is 18 from kano and I am 25 from Enugu, and I was strongly drawn to her and wish to marry her.
She has finished secondary school, well educated and raised well though she is from a very humble background (I honestly don't care about that).
I approached her and made my intentions known to her, I got some of my elderly Muslim friends to talk to her and she agreed only on the condition that I would convert.
I am not overly bothered about converting, so as to marry her. But I am concerned that after the conversion and marriage that I may show the same lackadaisical attitude I gave Christianity. Though I sometimes wonder what old friends will say when they eventually find out.
