I use gbagada GH along side my private hospital. I decided to visit last thur and I was told I dont have an appointment. So my next appointment is on Thursday. I only met with a gynae who asked me to do the necessary tests which I did that day and will be presented next week thur. They were so strict and were attending to only 36weeks and above and ppl with complaint.

Aside the occasional pelvic pain, tightness, heavy stomach and discomfort sleeping on the side, I'm strong, baby is kicking and moving fine and bags are packed already.

I still go for my daily walks and attend to house chores with my DH's help.
What I don't understand is my new crave/love for bread and tea, its almost a daily!

In all, grateful for the journey so far and can't wait to hold my lo.
Congratulations to all who have put to birth, may God preserve your babies.

It's not small oh . Was looking at my scan result at 30 weeks today. Baby was weighing 1.667. I gave birth to 4.7. Please just look for a way the baby will not grow too big.

please dont scare me, My last scan says baby was 1.73 at 31wks 2 days and I was 30wks then. God help me

Hmmm..... Let me share the story of my life these days. The way my baby moves in the tummy eh painful jabs most times but then sebi i can cope with that afterall na everybody get wetin dey pinch am inside cloth the one that is funny to me is how visible this baby wiggling is on the outside. My tummy and cloth will be shaking and moving, I will be adjusting and covering it so people don't notice it is well....

Got a tab for my son thinking he ll let my phone rest. For wia... what he now does is to play the same music on my phone and his tab concurrently. Whatever feeling it gives him is something I will never understand. I don tire.

Very true, there is this big tablet no one is using at home, I downloaded lots of kid apps on it, I still put sim in it and recharge the phone so he will know the phone has the same function as mine. After some time, he got tired of the phone and still came back to mine. He doesn't touch the tablet again now.

I have been battling tooth pain for some days now Very bad something i dont take drugs like that except my routine drugs, but I had to take paracetamol for the first time in this pregnancy because of the pain some days back. The pain is still very much there, Oluwa wetin dey occur

sorry cappo... it was eye pain that handled me like that. I do have eye pain and it's always severe whenever I'm experiencing MS. I complained to my doc? He told me to endure that pregnancy intensify whatever issue one has. I'm forced to wear sunglasses to ease the pain and not to expose it in the sun. Ppl think my pregnant woman is doing fashion.. It will go soon. Pele

Cappo I'm fine... I dont complain now cos I believe every odd feeling I have is part of my package so I dont complain knowing fully well my baby is fine. I'm just waiting for may to come so I can hug my baby. I need to confirm my baby sex to be sure b4 I announce it.

The rate at which this baby is kicking ehn... at times I try changing position when I'm sitting beside someone cos they can visibly see the movt. It was not like this with my first.

capo im very fine, it's just that I'm very lazy to type this days. I decided to start shopping for my baby yesterday, hospital things almost complete + all baby clothes. I can say I'm enjoying this 2nd trimester and I hope the next trimester will be better.

I heard from many sources it's a great blood booster and gives strength I want to know if one can take it in pregnancy or if anyone here has tried it before. I take blood capsules regularly but am still so tired, I eat well also but still tired so I wanted another solution.

contractions started on the night of first Jan 2020,I thought it was just Braxton Hicks,cus was expecting to deliver January ending,ignored it,went to buy few baby things the other day,well on 2nd night mehnnn the thing increase,jjc like me don't know it was real labor oo,by 1am,my hubby and I left for a health center close to me,the nurse after shooting his hand in my vaginal,told me to go home that is false,haba, I went home,the thing double, could not sleep,dh too,by six we left to the second hospital that I registered,I was like I don't care whether is false labor or true oo,cut me and bring out this baby oo, something else has taken over my body,the nurse we met checked me and said haa madam u are already 4cm oo, oya pull off ND lie down,the thing increased ooo, I screamed ND screamed,by 7:30,a doc came shook his hand again and said am just 5cm and told the nurse that if in 2hrs there is no change,they should put the hot drip,I said two hrs ke!I will just die,put the hot dream now,they put it,women of Nigeria,naso madness started oo,ewohhh,I was screaming,kambashing in togues,chei,shouting mama moo,dimoo, doctor remove this thing,give me CS,is it by force oo,I pull my head, scratch anyone that came close,my eyes was on the clock,at 2pm,I was checked,7cm,chai,na how I pull out the drip,ran out of the room to the corridor naked, shouting,they were saying hei,hold this woman,hold her,me I don't care,I felt like village people were against me that moment,they brought me BK and said they will chain me,did they force me to do it,better behave,haa,by the way Dh was begging them,give her CS please,my wife ehhh, I stayed on the bed, shouting,I can't explain the pains,I get relieved on for 7or 10 second and it start,by 4pm,an angel nurse came and checked me, she told me madam,I want to help u and birth this child,if not u will stay here till tomorrow,she said oya comply,I said nurse oo, anything,get me out of this pains,she put hand,is like she pulled the baby down and said oya pull like u wanna poo,I pushed,pooed,pushed the second time,na how this my little boy came out screaming like I have been screaming ��,with a little cut,I felt relieved immediately,baby weighed 2;7,chooooo, see mamas I skipped alot as not to bore u ooo,but it ended in praise,I appreciate all the mamas here regardless of how u birth,we are the real deal,the special grace given to us eeh, January mamas Weldon,u will all have a very smooth delivery,fear not,u have been given a very special destiny that must be fulfilled,ehe,they said as soon as u birth u forget,Biko I never forget oo,my mouth is still paining me��,baby ND mama fine fine, Osinachi Jasper my son came into the world on the 3rd of January 2020,entered into the next stage. signing out,let other mamas follow. It's not something serious. I have had it 3 times. Has your doctor swept your membrane? It could trigger labour. If it does not work, your doctor can decide insert a tab to open up your cervix and which the amniotic fluid will be ruptured. But if the progress is still slow, they can now place water for you- it's painful but bearable. You will forget all the pain once you see your bundle of joy. I await your Birth Alert. May God be with you every step of the way.

There is cervical ripening too. I was scheduled for cervical ripening during my 1st delivery, they were about to start the process when they noticed I was 4cm gone already and I didn't even know I was in labour.

I only experience discomfort as if I breath through the navel especially when my son is doing gum-body. I do push him away so I can be fine.

You're not alone sis. I ate swallow(fufu) with okra soup in the morning, few minutes I started shivering cos of hunger, I drank tea with egg bread and plantain. I slept off, woke up very hungry, prepared yam on fire, drank goldenmorn and smoothie to hold the hunger, I brought out 5pieces of yam to eat with red oil cos the goldenmorn did nada. I still ate after cooking the vegetable yam. Around 4pm I ate okra soup.

biko I want to eat like u. My first pregnancy was like this and this is even worse. I'll eat little and the tommy is full. Any additional meal leads to bloating. I had a 3.4kg handsome baby then so I'm rest assured all will be well this time too. I only wish I can eat well like pregnant women do and i envy them a lot.

To the glory of God Almighty, I welcomed my prince charming on the 24th of Nov at 5:50pm via VD weighing 3.3kg at 40weeks 6days.

The whole thing started earlier on 23rd when I noticed colourless discharge frequently which was strange at that time, but I just bluffed it off as one of those pregnancy ish. Then by 4pm, I woke up with cramps, Immediately I knew something was close by, I managed the cramps till later in the evening at 9pm, when I noticed another discharge, I wiped and saw a light bloody like discharge, I knew I'll be going into favour soon with the cramps and the discharge. I told my hubby, he asked if we should head to the hospital but I told him it's too early, that I'll manage till morning. My guy man just dey talk sey make I no go start for midnight oo, sey how we go take do considering how our area is.

Anyway, all through the night, bearable contractions was 6mins apart, I couldn't sleep, I was just hoping for morning to come quickly...at some minutes past 4am, it was becoming unbearable, I got up and started little exercises round the room, I tried doing some chores too, before I knew it, I was timing the contractions at 3mins apart, I managed to have my bath, I managed to eat as I remembered our matron telling us to make sure we eat before coming so as to have strength to push but I couldn't eat sha. I was rushing my husband to be fast so as to leave for the hospital.

We left home at 6am, got to the hospital, met one of the nurses, I was checked and was just 2cm, I was like WTF! with this level of contraction? Anyway, I was asked to walk round the hospital, I did for few mins before I was called in to come and rest so as to have the strength to push later on. I was on the bed, timing went back to 7-8mins apart, I was like ahhh God, I don enter am today.

I was sha on the bed till the nurses shifted duty and I was checked again by the other nurse like 2hours later, I was still 2cm, infact she said the 2cm sef was a small one . I was sha there with my husband, was feeling sleepy, if I managed to close eye, the contraction will wake me up at intervals. Next thing I noticed something gushing out of my jajaina, I first wondered what it was, I managed to stand up, plenty water started rushing out oo, my water broke, the water was much, na for movie i dey see that kain thing, the nurse was even like that's good, it will make me dilate faster but for where? after 2-3 hours again, I was checked but was between 3-4cm, I sha dey there.
Another nurse came on duty at 4pm. The outgoing nurse related my issues to her, she took over but didn't check me at all, she was just coming to check how I was fairing. Meanwhile contractions were getting stronger but to them, I wasn't contracting enough ( imagine o).

I vomited thrice along the line, yellowish/greenish whatever. The nurses said it's because I haven't eaten, that I should make sure i eat so as to be able to push later, but I just couldn't eat, my husband persuaded me to eat, he went to get food and lucozade Boost but I couldn't eat or drink and I was so weak already to walk and even talk but I was forcing myself because it got to a point, the nurse on duty came to scare me that I should better stop doing like someone that can't move, I should brace up myself because real labour will soon start, so I should just gather up myself or I'll be referred, hearing that, I tried gathering all the strength I could, ate 3 spoons of the food, drank little and I managed to get on my feet even though they were weak.

Meanwhile, my husband was timing the contractions now at 4mins interval, suddenly contraction changed level and I was having this strong urge to shit, I couldn't control the urge, It seem like I was pushing, I tried to resist it but I couldn't because there was a case of a woman that pushed when not asked to and the womb tore in that same hospital. The urge was getting stronger, I told the nurse, she told me to shit if I wanted to, I managed my feet into the toilet, I pushed oo, shit no gree comot, I went back to bed, felt that same strong urge, entered toilet again with hubby, pushed again but nothing, even piss sef no gree comot. I went back in again. The nurse checked my baby's heartbeat, it was normal, she said she'll come check my dilation in 20mins time, na so I dey oo. If the urge comes, I'll hold strongly to the bed like my life depended on it, I knew it wasn't normal but I kept hanging on, the more I felt like pooing, the more I kept using all my strength to push, I couldn't control it, the pushing was coming like 2-3 times in a minute, suddenly while pushing, I felt something in between my legs, next thing, blood rushed out, then my baby came out crying at 5:50pm. I had to scream for the nurses to come, they rushed in and was surprised at what they saw. Quickly they carried the baby, to clean him up, the other nurse examined me, placenta came out few minutes later, I was cleaned up and examined for tear, thankfully no tears at all. Few minutes later, my prince charming was handed over to me to suck breast

In all, father was so excited to witness the whole scenes and to finally see his baby, he couldn't keep hands and eyes off him, mother and baby too are doing pretty well to the glory of God.
