PoliticsRe: Why Yar’adua Wants Ribadu Out - Plans To Prosecute Obasanjo, Ribadu And El-rufai by Mamajama(m): 9:54pm On Dec 30, 2007
I am not sure why you guys waste your time on rumors and false publication by the disgruntle Nigerian press.

The caption states YAR ADUA Plans To Prosecute Obasanjo, Ribadu And El-rufai.

some other paper stating the Brazilian case led to RIbadu removal. When will all this useless press stop publishing fake stories? where are they getting the facts from?

The removal of RIBADU by this useless president is a slap on democrazy and RULE OF LAW that he has been preaching about.

EFCC is not answerable to the IGP, they report to the president.

IF EFCC was answerable to the IGP, there is no way in hell RIBADU would have been able to bring down his boss TAFA BALOGUN.

Politics is a dirty game, Yar Adua need to be a ball and stop hidding under the IGP to do his dirty work. Why is the presidency not saying anything about this move?
PoliticsRe: Fayose Donates Cow, Rice To Prison Inmates by Mamajama(op): 9:35pm On Dec 30, 2007
@BIGB1 No he did not donate pounded yam because Hausa people that the new prison are built for like BABANGIDA AND MUHAMMAD BABANGIDA do not eat pounded yam. They will rather wipe or wash their ass with water and hand.

They also prefare TUWO and MIA COCKER
PoliticsRe: Fayose Donates Cow, Rice To Prison Inmates by Mamajama(op): 4:32pm On Dec 30, 2007
Such kind of things is unheard of in developed nation. DO not forget this are tax payers money or state allocations that are used to purchase this gifts.

Why can't the state send gifts to all the criminals in their prisons as well. Kai. i tire for this Una country

Benazir Bhutto's 19-year-old son Bilawal has been chosen to take over her Pakistan People's Party, after her assassination on Thursday.
It is thought he will take the role in a ceremonial capacity while he finishes his studies at Oxford University.

Bilawal told journalists at the Bhutto family home: "My mother always said democracy is the best revenge."

PoliticsFayose Donates Cow, Rice To Prison Inmates by Mamajama(op): 4:08pm On Dec 30, 2007
Wonder shall never end in this our country. A person arraigned for corruption and murder charges is receiving a gift from the state government.

THE former Ekiti State Governor who is currently being remanded at the Ikoyi Prison, Mr. Peter Ayodele Fayose, has commended the Ekiti State Government over the Christmas gifts sent to him, just as he has donated the gift items to the inmates of Ikoyi prison.

The Director of Publicity and Research of the Ayo Fayose Foundation and Movement (AFFM) Dr. Funso Alarape, who disclosed this in Ado Ekiti yesterday, said two cows and ten bags of rice were approved as gifts for Fayose and the former governor was immediately informed of the gift items.

However, Fayose, while accepting the gift with thanks, implored the state government to ferry the items to Ikoyi prison in Lagos as he has donated them to the prison inmates to mark the new year celebration.

BABASIN, I will ask you one more time please tell us where the house is located or shut up.

If you recalled. There were allegation Ehindero sold his old house to Ribadu. Till date no one can prove Ehindero even ought the old DIG quarters.

People need to stop spreading rumors kai. Ribadu will be fine either way you look at it. the sky is the limit for this young dynamic officer.
PoliticsRe: Bhutto Was Killed By The United States Govt by Mamajama(m): 7:31pm On Dec 29, 2007
@awestreet I was thinking the same. But that is a very strong allegation with no concrete evidence to substantiate your point.

She could have been killed by anyone that does not agree with her western way or ideas.

Her story remind me of when IBB was in power. All the atrocities that he committed against human kind was supported by USA.

They benefited from the oil from the naija delta. either way her death is untimely and sad.
PoliticsRe: Ribadu Fired! by Mamajama(m): 3:19pm On Dec 29, 2007
BABASIN can you please tell us where the address of this house you are talking is located?

Or what country is the foreign account opened?

BIGB1 + BABASIN = IBB stogies grin grin grin grin

We all know the only reason they hate ribadu was because he went after their brother Muhamed. Toothless general was shaking like Polaroid picture.

People do not forget RIBADU brought down TAFA BALOGUN. OKIRO is only doing what YAR ADUA wants him to do. they will both retire one day and RIBADU still has over 20 years of service in waiting for Nigerians.

Inspector General of Police Mike Okiro’s decision to contest the Appeal Court ruling voiding the Public Order Act is causing ripples among the top echelons of the force.

A competent source in Louis Edet House, Abuja told Daily Independent in a telephone interview that some of the deputy inspectors general of police (DIGs) have told Okiro that his position is not in the best interest of the police.

"I and three of my colleagues have let him know that we are in the democratic dispensation where the tenets of the rule of law and respect for the fundamental human rights of citizens must be respected by all strata of the government and that the President has already pointed the light, when he said we would uphold the rule of law," the source said.

It was also learnt that Okiro took the decision to challenge the judgment unilaterally.

"He did not consult anybody before he made his statement public and some of us consider that as not good enough because we are all representatives of sections of this great nation and the inertest of Nigerians from each of these parts. So we feel we should have discussed this issue thoroughly before we took our final decision on it," the source added.

The antagonists’ position is that challenging the verdict would further worsen the already battered image of the police. They added that there is nothing the police as an institution would gain by fighting to protect a colonial instrument of intimidation and coercion like the Public Order Act which the British that handed it down to the country have since done away with it from their statute book.

It was learnt that following the disagreement, the last police management meeting failed to agree on whether to sanction Okiro’s plan to challenge the ruling at the Supreme Court.

Please stop deceiving ourselves. no amount of pressure will change this posting. Ribadu will attend the course.

As competent as Ribadu is, there are allot of people within the Nigerian police force who sees him as a threat and they will do whatever it takes to get him out of EFCC.

Need I say more? the ROASTER son of IBB BigB1 just pure gasoline on himself.

I saw all the atomic bomb coming from all angles.

IBB has no intention to contest the election my ass. Question. why did IBB your father succumb to pressure to give up his useless ambition after your brother Muhammad was arrested and detained by RIBADU?

IBB remind me of n "Pervez Musharraf "

Both military leader change their title from general to president

Both dictators, silence opposition by murder at all cost.

RIBADU can not be bought, and I can assure you he will be back

PoliticsRe: Ribadu Fired! by Mamajama(m): 4:51pm On Dec 28, 2007
RIbadu has nothing to say but to comply.  people do not forget the IGP is answerable to the president.  OKIRO is only doing what he has been directed to do by MR GO SLOW YAR ADUA.

I strongly think this move will benefit Ribadu in the long run.  There are seven AIG in the Nigerian police force whom all have seniority over RIBADU and have all been to this school in JOS.

To elevate RIBADU to the RANK of IGP in future his adversaries will have no grounds to base their arguments that he has never been to a mandatory course for senior police officers.

SOLOMON ARASE is replacement his a fine officer.  I know him personally but he is not RIBADU
PoliticsRe: Ribadu Fired! by Mamajama(m): 6:16am On Dec 28, 2007
Dude AIG does not answer to the IG, stop spreading rumors. he is under the IG but only can be discipline by the pollice service commission. the IG has no order or power to discipline anyone over the rank of CP or post them

any posting must be approve by the president. This is a wrong move by the go slow president Yar adua.
PoliticsRe: Ribadu Should Be Pressed To Declare His Assets To Nigeria (from 2003 To 2007) by Mamajama(m): 6:05am On Dec 28, 2007
Dude you as as stupid as a bag of rocks. Did your father IBb declare his assets? or tell us where he get the money to build a 50 bedroom mansion in Miner?

Did he tell us what happen to the $12 billion golf oil money?

Did he tell us why he refused to answer to OKIGBO AND OPUTA panel enquiries?

Until then you should shut the Bleep up.

the only reason your family is out to get Ribadu is because he went after your brother Muhammad.

Where did you and Muhammad got the money you invested in GLO without ever earning a paycheck?

PoliticsBabangida, Part Of Nigeria’s Problems –ac Chieftain by Mamajama(op): 3:47am On Dec 28, 2007
The Action Congress spokesman in Niger State, Mr. Jonathan Vatsa, has described the recent utterances of the former military president, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, describing the Peoples Democratic Party as Nigeria’s problem as diversionary.

He described Babangida as part of the nation’s problems.

Vatsa, who is the Director of Publicity of the AC in the state stated this in an interview with our correspondent in Minna on Sunday.

He said the statement credited to the former head of state was a subtle acceptance of guilt.

According to him, “The PDP is a structure and the party cannot be the nation’s problem but the operators of the party are the problems of Nigeria which IBB is prominent. He is not only the problem of the party, he is the problem of the country.”

He said, “In 2003, in Niger State, all the elders and the people of the state were against the re-election of the then governor, Alhaji Abdulkhadir Kure, over poor performance but he stood his ground and ensured that his political godson was re-elected.

“The record of the performances of both former President Olusegun Obasanjo and that of Kure are there for posterity to judge. To me, the PDP is not the nation’s problem, but people within the party who subverted democratic tenets for personal gains
