Yeah you're right... we saw how Tinubu tarred and plated his home town Iragbiji in Osun state with gold roads... and Mike Adenuga built diamonds and emeralds in Ogun state which ranks among the states with the worst roads in Nigeria... clown.

It all goes back in full circle to the same old Igbophobic sentiments other Nigerians unapologetically harbor, when Igbos point out these things, we're called all sorts of names including those who accuse us of always playing the victims. The breaking point for me was the much talked about send off burial ceremony for Obi Cubana's mother that got everybody (including the miserable losers who can't even take care of their own mums while they are alive) all taking the "high moral ground" on how a man and his wealthy associates/friends should spend their money, all because it's Igbos at the center of the attention.

Now here is the part that infuriates me about these self-loathing and hypocritical elements (we know their ethnic identity)

How's it cool for Yorubas to throw lavish owambe parties almost every weekend and sometimes they even block major streets and deny motorists accessibility because they are throwing a party, a typical yoruba man can spend all his life savings on Owambe parties and be broke the next day... but we don't see Igbos care much about or judge the yorubaas? the same yorubaas are the main instigators of these hateful campaign against Igbos all over social media platforms, they say the roads in Oba and Anambra aren't tarred despite all the billionaires blah blah blah... has Tinubu tarred or brought any developments to his Osun state or community in Iragbiji? have Mike Adenuga etc tarred all the terrible roads in Ogun state which ranks among the worst in the country? Where were all those yoruba billionaires during the last lockdown which exposed the profound poverty and hunger across the South West states? at least we saw wealthy Igbos empowering their people with palliatives during the last lock down... the hypocrisy of these people stinks to high heavens!

Lastly, Where were all these "social media moral advocates" on Igbo matter when the children of rich Northern politicians were posing in private jets and displaying mouth-dropping affluence during their Salah day celebrations? we saw all these Hausa kids drove about in super expensive cars in Abuja and doing car rodeos, all this happening even as the North stews in abject poverty and all forms of humanitarian disasters.

So because Obi Cubana (who didn't even spend 1/10th of his money) as the majority of money spent to celebrate with him were goodwill splurges and gestures from his friends and business associates whom he had helped to become successful at one point or another, that has now caused a stir everywhere with useless idiots now forming opinions on Igbos when they can't even feed and take care of their own family members... Truly the Igbos will always be the biggest threat to Nigeria.

Igbos? Nah it's definitely your people, biggest online presence on Nairaland and Twitter and generally very toxic in nature... ordinary burial ceremony for Obi Cubana's mother and we saw a whole army of very very toxic and insecure yorubas with their frail-ego's bringing up comparisons with Mike Adenuga's burial event for his mum just to score ethnic points (as if we give a f**k or something)... imagine going so low that you now use burial ceremonies as competition just to drag Igbos? it got so embarrassing on Twitter that other yorubas had to hide or embark on damage control algorithms to save the blushes of their not-so-smart brothers... even some popular yoruba girls on Twitter were hailing Igbo guys and the men got very petty about it. The most annoying part of it all was that other tribes in the South were bemused at the level of inanity, bitterness, and hate been posited by the yorubas on Twitter over a mere burial?

I completely give up on you people, Twitter yesterday exposed how very low you yorubas are (save for a reasonable few of course).

The most encouraging and positive thing I observed largely from my interactive and networking sessions with all the top shots I met was that the successful Igbos domiciled outside the East are now massively investing in the East and opening their business headquarters left, right and center... the real estate market is particularly thriving massively in the East due to the very high demand of lands, one man will have a chain of businesses across Nigeria but he will be smart enough to situate the base of his investment back home in the East and employ tens of thousands of youths who in turn become business owners in a short while( the chain reaction of wealth distribution at its best) ... Anambra is indisputably the money capital of the East, silent millionaires/billionaires with new generation money everywhere, and other states in the East are now massively tapping into the money capital.

A peaceful SE is the honeypot of everything good and wonderful indeed, even the non-Igbo guests at Obi Cubana's event were conspicuously mesmerized by the audacious display of wealth, splendor and camadarie... money is good abeg. That's why even though I'm sympathetic to the Biafran cause, a part of me just doesn't want the whole repetition of the ESN/UGM saga in the East anymore.

Yaribaland has more problems and security crisis issues of its own already, but IPOB is your problem... Get a life.

It was gathered that the gunmen killed two people at Igangan in Ibarapa North local government area, while one person, the Amotekum commandant was killed in Igboora in Ibarapa Central local government area.

One of the residents said, “The people thought it was customs officers until two people were killed.

They are not the most populous in SS either.

Using 2006 census.
Akwa ibom 3million (of which about 2million are Ibibio)

Rivers 5million (of which at least 2million are ijaw)

Bayelsa 1.7million (of which at least 1.3million are ijaw)

Delta, Ondo has indigenous ijaw.

Ibibios can only be found in Akwa ibom (at 2million)

Basically the population of ijaw in rivers and Bayelsa +Delta is quite larger than ibibio
This is sheer nonsense, how did you come up with those ridiculous numbers for Ijaws in Rivers and Delta states? Abi na for inside kaikai census bureau you dey conduct your count?

Ibibio alone cannot take the 4th position.Unless you add other ethnicity like annang, oron, efik etc.

Ijaws and kanuris should drag the 4th position.
How many states are Kanuri's indigenous to? I think Ijaws have a slight edge over Ibibios for 4th, but the Ibibios might as well have a good argument for been the 4th largest ethnic group in Nigeria cause Ijaws are a very tiny minority in Rivers, Delta, and Ondo states.
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Gunmen Kill Six Soldiers In Enugu by mancoconut(op): 1:01pm On Jul 14, 2021
For context reports on ground from the Adani indigenes does suggest that ESN have been protecting the Uzo-Uwani community for a while now after flushing out the last hideouts of well armed Fulani herdsmen that terrorized the community for a long time... prior to the intervention of ESN, there had been no single military and police security presence in these communities and the people were at the mercy of killer herdsmen.

Then ESN swooped in around March of this year and after some heated battles with the bandits successfully flushed them out from the forest locations where they had camps and terror cells... many Fulani bandits were killed.

Now that ESN have been in full control, the Nigerian military now want to cause unrest by attacking these people for defending themselves.

BREAKING: Gunmen kill six soldiers in Enugu

Gunmen have been reportedly killed six soldiers in Adani in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The PUNCH gathered that the soldiers were killed early hours of Tuesday at the military checkpoint along Nsukka-Adani-Anambra Federal Highway.

A reliable security source told our correspondent that the gunmen attacked the location of the soldiers at Iggah/Asaba checkpoint on Tuesday morning.

The Nigerian Army has confirmed the attack, noting the hoodlums were being trailed after.

Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General, Onyema Nwachukwu, who confirmed the incident in a text message in response to The PUNCH inquires on the incident, accused the members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Eastern Security Network of being behind the attack.

According to the message titled, ‘Troops repel ESN attack on their location at Adani’, Nwachukwu, however, said that only two soldiers were killed during the attack while the soldiers repelled the hoodlums.

He said, “Nigerian Army troops deployed to checkmate the activities of gunmen at Adani community of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State, yesterday 13 July 2021, repelled Eastern Security Network gun attack on troops’ location at Iggah/Asaba checkpoint.

“Sadly, during the firefight that ensued, two soldiers paid the supreme price. Troops are currently on the trail of the criminals.

“We assure the general public of our commitment to provide adequate security in the general area in collaboration with other security agencies.

“We also urge members of the public to complement the effort of the security agencies by remaining law-abiding and provide useful information on the fleeing gunmen.
