100% Buhari in Plateau. Unopposed President (PMB ) till 2023. The only man that make his enemies voluntarily break neck, climb tree, kiddnapp themselves, jumb out of moving car some have even gone to exile what an integrity. |
The government and people of Plateau state have commended President Muhammadu Buhari, for fulfilling the promises he made to them on road projects in the state. The state commissioner for Information and Communication, Yakubu Datti said the number of federal road projects in the state “is indeed a testimony of Mr. President’s integrity as his word is his bond.” He recalled that the state governor had on 8th March 2018, tabled a request for the dualisation of Abuja-Jos road before the President during his two – day working visit to the state. Another request by the governor was the construction of the Jos LafiaShendam-Ibi road; the Vom-ManchokKaduna road; the Shendam-KwallaDoemak-Teng-Wamba road; the Pankshin-Langtang-Garkawa-Yelwa-Ibi road . “On that memorable visit, President Buhari commissioned road projects completed by Gov Simon Lalong including the Marraaba-Jama’a expressway, Miango-junction/lowcost/ Rafiki road network with spur at Domkat Bali road, as well as the Secretariat junction overhead bridge. “The governor told the visiting president that the state has committed over N20 billion to various federal government road projects, of which only N1.2 was reimbursed. “We are therefore pleading for your kind consideration for intervention towards total refund,” he stated. The Federal Executive Council had approved the construction of a dual carriage road from Abuja, passing through Akwanga to Jos and then Bauchi to Gombe. The project which would be completed in 48 months, as disclosed by Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, will benefit the four states of Plateau, Nassarawa, Bauchi and Gombe. The commissioner thanked President Buhari for the on going road projects in Pankshin, Taphin, Tambar Sara-kal, Gindiri road. Also under construction is the Sharam, Ballang road linking Plateau with Bauchi state through Tafawa Balewa. It would be recalled that a fortnight ago, the Federal Executive Council had approved additional N122m for the completion of the Mangu Dam project, bringing the project from the initial cost of N855.49 million to N977.7 million. Having secured these promises, Gov Lalong did not go to sleep, but rather embarked on aggressive shuttle diplomacy to relevant agencies in Abuja to see to it’s fruition. “Mr. President, by your actions, the government and people of Plateau state reaffirm their unalloyed loyalty and support to the success your administration. “ He further stressed “the attraction of such monumental projects in the midst of security challenges, has again reinforced the people’s trust in the rescue administration’s innate capacity to deliver purposeful leadership.” https://leadership.ng/2018/08/19/plateau-govt-people-hails-pmb-over-road-projects/ Lalasticlala mynd44 oam4j |

As part of measures to alleviate poverty and tackle unemployment, the federal government has reiterated its readiness to partner Ogun State in the growth of fisheries in the country to create wealth distribution. The minister of state for Agriculture and Rural development, Heineken Lokpobiri stated this while inaugurating four projects built by the ministry in Eriwe, Ijebu-Ode. Lokpobiri said the projects which include a feed mill, cold room, fish market and the processing unit, are all intended to make the estate a real fish farming cluster where the farmers will fully appropriate all the advantages of fish farming value chain. According to him, the Eriwe fish farms, which has over 3,000 fish ponds scattered over an estimated 156 hecters of land area, with an average fish farming production turnover of about 2,500 metric tonnes annually and income generation of about N2 billion annually, is the biggest fish farming estate in Africa. “Government is particularly interested in Ogun State because, if agriculture succeeds in Ogun, it has succeeded in Nigeria,” he said.https://leadership.ng/2018/08/18/fg-partners-ogun-to-boost-fish-farming/ Lalasticlala oam4j mynd44 FarmTech Pavore9 dominique MrKnowitall |
The more anyone wish PMB dead, the more you and your entire family become hypertensive. To me I'm very sure and certain that this man of HONOUR and INTEGRITY is trying his best to make this country a better place. |
If the proposed bilateral agreement between Nigeria and Niger Republic to build a hydrocarbon pipeline and a petroleum refinery is followed to the letter, and all loose nuts tightened, so many derivatives would be achieved with our roads saved from worsening decay and deterioration. Lives would be saved as accidents from heavy-duty trucks would be minimised if not eliminated. Also, jobs would be created as activities of itinerary truckdrivers would be curtailed. Studies show high prevalence of HIV/AIDs amongst truck drivers as they engage in unsafe sexual practices along the corridor of their trips. For every junction of their trip, it is believed that they have a partner. A trip from Warri, Delta State to Kano State, would have exposed the drivers to the corridors of sexual risk exposure. While the nation records this avoidable HIV infection rates, casualties from accidents, armed robbery attacks add to the health burden of the nation. A measured travelling distance would solve these burdensome indices with the sincere implementation of the proposed refinery in the border towns of Nigeria and the Republic of Niger. To achieve these, the two West African nations with some shared culture and geography, would have allowed for the construction of a hydrocarbon refinery that would ferry crude oil, 500 kilometres from the oil-rich deposits in Niger through a modernly designed pipeline, to a Nigerian border town yet to be decided. The proposed refinery would process up to 100,000 and 150,000 barrels per day of crude from Niger Republic. Nigeria, Africa’s biggest oil-producing nation, with no adequate refining capacity, imports at least 70 per cent of its fuel needs. A renewed government commitment to bridging this gap by building a refinery in the north of the country, is a luring catch for investors given the large market for petroleum products in the north. Coming with full support, the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, opined that, “The initiative will not only provide a reliable market for the stranded crude from Niger Republic, but will also provide petroleum products for Nigeria, as it aggressively pursues its aspiration for petroleum products self-sufficiency.”With President Muhammadu Buhari leading the pack, backed by his Nigerien counterpart, Issouf, and the steering committee for the projects, co-chaired by Nigerian and Nigerien ministers and a separate team led by Nigeria’s Engineer Rabiu Suleiman, supported by the Director-General, Hydrocarbon of Niger Republic, to develop the implementation roadmap and strategy for both the refinery and pipeline projects, a plausible offering for oil sufficiency in Nigeria and Niger is assured for the two neighbouring nations with excellent relations, sharing common cultural and historical ties for decades. This is no doubt a deal that would be a “win-win” situation for the two nations. The decision not to leave the project in the wings of conventional bureaucratic practices but in the hands of experts with tested references, adds credence to the bilateral deal. The framework committees that will come up with a detailed roadmap and guideline, bankable feasibility studies for the refinery and pipeline projects, optimal project site, pipeline routes and details, security plan and selected consortia of investors are an excellent measurable template for the success of this initiative. Is the projected duration for completion of the projects put at between three to four years a possibility?Only time can tell. Until then, we watch in welcoming expectations, the economic romance between Nigeria and the Republic of Niger.https://leadership.ng/2018/08/17/the-nigeria-niger-refinery-that-our-roads-be-saved/ Lalasticlala oam4j mynd44 |

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has tasked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to publish its findings on the properties of "a current Senate presiding officer facing EFCC investigations". The party said it is difficult to fathom how "a federal lawmaker, who before his current position was an Associate Lecturer and Local Government Chairman, owns 22 high-end properties in Nigeria and other exclusive locations across the world". Although the party did not expressly say so, the lawmaker is believed to be Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, who is being investigated and was detained on August 1 by the EFCC over his linkage to 22 properties. In a statement by Yekini Nabena, the party’s Acting National Publicity Secretary, APC urged the EFCC and other related organisations to intensify efforts aimed at “investigating and recovering public funds and assets that have been stolen by public officials". Commending President Muhammadu Buhari on his stance in the fight against corruption, the APC restated its commitment to ensuring that the country is run by individuals who have integrity.http://saharareporters.com/2018/08/16/apc-asks-where-did-senate-presiding-officer-get-money-acquire-22-properties Lalasticlala oam4j mynd44 |
