Dino is setting a precedence for lawlessness in Nigeria as when Nigerians begin to take laws into their hands, nobody should blame them. |

Members of the National Assembly are blowing hot at the moment. Their grouse: President Muhammadu Buhari’s unilateral withdrawal of $1 billion from the Excess Crude Account (ECA) without their approval, particularly the release of $496 million for the purchase of some fighter jets. The disgruntled lawmakers see the action of the president as an affront on the legislature which has the power of appropriation. Buhari had in the letter to the National Assembly said he granted anticipatory approval for the said amount to be wired to the US government. However, the letter dated April 13, 2018 which was received at the National Assembly on April 17 this year was not read until Tuesday and Wednesday at the House and Senate, respectively. https://leadership.ng/2018/05/02/beyond-nass-impeachment-threat-against-pmb/ Mynd44 lalasticlala oam4j |

GOOD ONE... In my love for Buhari, there is no repentance. In my support for Muhammadu Buhari, there will be no reversal. In my wish for his success, there is no change of mind. In my commitment to his struggle to make Nigeria better, there is neither retreat nor surrender. If you spend a life time trying to corrupt my mind about Buhari, you will be wasting your time. In standing with President Muhammadu Buhari, I am completely unapologetic !

The anti-corruption posture of the present administration has started yielding fruits, with three federal government agencies operating in the nation’s maritime industry generating N2.751trillion in two years. The agencies, which include the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) generated N2.751trillion into the Consolidated Revenue Fund (CRF) coffers in 2016 and 2017, outstripping previous accruals. The revenue generated by these agencies in the year under review was unprecedented in the history of these agencies. For instance, NIMASA generated a whooping N21.805 billion in 13 months and remitted same into the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the federal government. https://leadership.ng/2018/04/30/npa-2-others-generate-n2-751trn-for-fg-in-2yrs/ Mynd44 lalasticlala oam4j |
