It's only someone who hasn't been through a fire would stand by the side advising another who's been hurt by the fire how he would gone through it without getting hurt. I don't want to delve into this but our people say, whoever brings ant infested firewood into his house should prepare to invite lizards to his home. Nothing further. 35 Likes 2 Shares |

PaulIdu: If you can shamelessly open your open and utter these words considering the pain they're going through, I can only ask God to have mercy on you. Before you type rubbish, please endeavor to read. As far as I'm concerned, a marriage that was divorced 30 years ago and the estranged father all of a sudden surfaced right now, deserves all the treatment he gets. “Buwa and I were the product of a short and abusive marriage that ended almost 30 years ago. To a man with many other wives and children. Stella Oduah is the only father, mother, carer and provider that my brother has ever known. The Oduah family is the only Family that he has ever been part of and Akili Ozizo in Anambra state is the only hometown he has ever had. “I called Mr Satchie and the Etoromi family to inform them immediately my brother passed. I offered flights, accommodation and special care for him or the representatives of the family throughout the funeral. I offered to build a relationship and have a new start. “I was happy and optimistic. But i was wrong. Instead of asking about his dead son, he proceeded to use my brothers passing as an excuse to shamelessly insult my mother just like he is doing now, issue death threats and even ask for dowry from almost 30 years ago. 102 Likes 3 Shares |

What's all these nonsense yo momma cuss all over this thread? If both of you have nothing useful to say, please stop spamming the thread. ![]() ![]() ![]() “In line with the critical infrastructural focus of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration, an unprecedented 30 per cent of 2016 budgetary provision has been committed to capital projects. APC are liars, did they just say an "unprecedented 30% committed to capital projects"? When you tell a lot lies, sooner or later, it becomes your truth. They should go back to prior year budgets because we've had more than 30% committed to Capital Expenditures... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

@bashydemy1 Biko stop spamming this page with these pictures. Did Buhari not promise heaven on earth? GEJ has moved on yet yall still calling him like your lives depended on it. During GEJ's tenure, as much as there was massive stealing, Nigeria was progressing, 16 months after, and you still have the mouth to call GEJ. Just accept that your messiah Buhari is a compounded failure. 4 Likes 1 Share |

celestialAgent: Wonderful... Going by your logic, Boeing uses mainly GE Engines and Airbus mainly RR engines. Question: why aren't all the Boeing variants named after GE engines considering the engines are the single most expensive component on an aircraft? ![]() ![]() ![]() This foolishness cannot continue for too long, please stop. I don't know what "conventional environment" you're talking about, if you do, please let us know because there isn't any generally accepted principle on how a product should be named. 1 Like |

cococandy: Exactly!!! This is why I said people shouldn't just judge without knowing the full story. The are divorced, what if the money was returned back to the ex-husbands's family, that's ground for the mother to bury her son without the father. Like you rightly said, what if the man (who's of age) decided not to be buried in his father's place? No one knows the whole story yet people are so quick to condemn her. 1 Like |

As much as tradition demands that she returns her son back to his father's house, there's an exception rule to this. Again, we haven't known the whole truth about what's going on, so let's not be too quick to judge. 2 Likes |

greenpasture: Sir, I do not agree with your logic, you mentioned competition and service quality (supply), what you failed to address is the demand aspect. Regardless of service quality, if a price of product has increased by 300%, yet income remains constant (no change) or even negative change, how are you supposed to afford that product even if the product is top notch? Example, you're earning x amount of income (no change), if the cost of boarding a bus is N100, and an air conditioned bus comes around (top service) charging N300, are you likely to board the bus or trek? Your guess is as good as mine. In this case, our Purchasing Power has seriously declined, which translates why Nigeria is no longer the Africa's destination for investment. What is killing Nigerian businesses is not because they can't compete, on the contrary, Nigerian are known for competition. What's hurting them is the ability to compete. You can't compete when a.) Access to foreign exchange is really limited because of i) the current exchange is highly unfavorable, ii) and even IF businesses wanted to bear the FX cost, the system has placed a cap and an undue process to transact globally. b.) The required infrastructure necessary to compete is lacking. Was it not two days ago that Murtala Muhammad Airport was in darkness. The Aviation sector all around is in total collapse. Few days ago, 9 banks were sanctioned because they refused to remit their monies. Yes we may say it served them right, do you have any idea the effect of this sanction? c.) We have unfriendly govt/fiscal policies. I don't even want to delve into this but you and I know very well this dealt a severe blow to our economy. Buhari has finally plunged us into full scale recession, it would take a lot of hard work and commitment to get us out of this mess. 1 Like |

andrew07: What he meant is going by today's current exchange rate of N350 to $1, you're already a millionaire if you have $2,700. I hope it makes sense. 1 Like |

testional: GEJ's administration did not sweep anything under the rug, GEJ had a very sound and intelligent economic team, the only problem was that corruption was excessive. GEJ had an economic plan: infrastructures to foreign investment, under GEJ, foreign investors were investing in Nigeria, at one point, Nigeria ranked the highest in foreign investment in Africa. Heck, it was hinted that Nigeria is among one of the fastest/emerging nations after it rebased it's GDP joining the MINT league (Mexico, Indonesia, Nigeria and Turkey) which are right behind the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India and China). Nigeria had an annual growth rate of about 7% when compounded overtime, estimate had it by 2020, we would have reach the $1trillion GDP. I'm not exonerating GEJ because I believe he could have done more, but truth is that we have NEVER had it this bad. More importantly now that subsidy is removed, I can only imagine the suffering Nigerians are facing. When you have a president that vindictive and divisive, well, this is the result you get. This is why GEJ is different: he included the north, heck he pleased them more than the south, yet they hated him. I think Nigerians need to enjoy the "CHANGE" they voted for. 5 Likes |

Welcome development but IMO, I think they will still face certain limitations (tech platform). Nigeria heavily relies on cash regardless but let's see how this model works out, who know, this may yet be the newest era of banking. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

NOETHNICITY: Time is relative in this concept, depending on the factors. Are we talking about in a year's time or 10 years? We heard about petrol marketers asking for N151/litre, and two days ago, NNPC saying they want to import fuel from Benin/Cameroon, meanwhile, there's an article from two days ago alleging 14 months after Buhari in power, the refineries are worse than they were. So where does time play into all these? Let's not give excuse of "it take a bit of time" by making very simple problem into complex ones. |

PUSH1: Foreign earning is the least of our problem right now, the economy is in serious shambles. Buhari should get it back on track first, at least to the point of production rather than consumption, then we can talk about foreign earning. 3 Likes |

AlphaCentauri: This is the kind of utter rubbish that's often spilled on NL, if SE as a region has more people living and trading within it's boundaries, and that # is several times greater when compared to Lagos (the most Igbo populated state), please tell me where the "deep hatred" comes from? ![]() ![]() As much as I don't support Igbos living up north, if it offers them better business opportunities, then that's an individual decision but alluding to a"reason" why they live among northerners as deep hatred for their people is nothing short of delusion. How can home be bad when home is making all these great strides and effort? Unless you show me that the # of people living outside Igboland is on par (not even greater) with the # living within Igboland, then and only will I take you seriously. Till then, you know nothing about Igbo dynamics, so don't speak on it. 1 Like |

onatisi: To even think some people are defending his failed policies, if any, is really annoying. Nigerians get what they deserve, no one would say that their "messiah" wasn't given an opportunity. After Buhari is done with Nigeria, when they mention Buhari's name again, many would run. 6 Likes |
