We also have road named after Kudirat, Abiola's wife. So there is nothing out of place here, afterall, she is the Nigerian First Lady. No matter what, if we don't value our own, we won't expect outsider to do that for us. In US, no matter how badly the president may b doing at home, America can crush any country that messes with their president or the wife. |
All the allied forces that joined hands and fought Ojukwu, they've started receiving their rewards here on Earth. "The labours of our heroes past shall not be in vain". |
Haba! Enaf is Enaf! Anybody wey go small craze or become kolo menta, im go run go Ekiti state, to the extent that the number of mentally deranged people in Ekiti state is surpassing the the number of people confirmed ok, this has forced the Governor to take this drastic action to clean up the state before they infiltrate the goverment house and occupy all strategic sectors in the state. |
When he was in PDP, heading all their fund raising committees, he wasn't lawless. |
Some especially in the Western world think that marriage is outdated and old fashion. One day, this same school of thought Will think that God himself who instituted mariage is outdated. |
To say the least, I'm confuse the more. Reading through the posts, i have got enough reasons to keep my mouth shut no matter what, and at the same time, i have got one thousand and one reasons why i must open up as soon as possible. The fact is that i love my wife, and despite my lesser earnings, i still meet her needs, provide for her, take her out and the stuffs like that, and she loves me too. Jokingly, she had asked me in few occasion how much was my salary, i mumbled over it without given her a clear answer. I'm afraid if i tell her, i might loose my respect and become a puppet husband. Maybe i may ask the ladies in this forum, if you realize that you earn more than your husband, would you still regard him as being in charge? Especially in decision making. |
Suffice to say that it is only men considered honourable by US Congress are invited to present a paper or speech. Ever since he stood before the powerful US congress, out of envy or jealous, many have lashed their tongues against him especially the Bokoharams sympathizers. I read the paper he presented, it was not targeted at anyone, rather it was a true reflection of what is happening in the country. He even blamed US Govt than he blamed Nigeria goverment. Come to think of it, what image is there again to protect? Is the world blind? All the evils taking place in Nigeria, the Killing, Bribe scandals, robbery, internet scams etc are all there for every to see all over the world. If i may ask Mr Waku, have you ever heard any good news about Nigeria from Aljazeera news network? Can you prove those things to be lie? How about the people listening to those broadcasts from around the world? Just travel outside the country, you Will realize that the name Nigeria has a stigma. |
I recently got married to this lady, she works in construction company while I worked in Govt. Ministry. I have seen my wife's pay slip, she earns slightly higher than I, but she believes that I'm earning higher than her,and she respects me as well as my job for that. I'm thinking of opening up to her and to let her know my true salary, should she find out in the future and treat me as a lier, but at the same time, I'm afraid that I might loose the respect she has for me as the head of the family. |
Too bad, this has been existence for a very long time in other countries even in Arab countries, not just hand-held monitors but Road mounted monitors that transmit directly to the control. |
That's a good figure. |
I think PDP Mr. Fixit is no longer capable of fixing anything, and therefore becoming irrelevant to Jonathan and Aso Rock. |
Thank God I no dey fly Arik. |
Hope Yakubu Gowon is really concern about what is happening in his state and the North in general. |
What's the news there; people are graduating everyday even with distinction. T.B Joshua, Oyedepo, Adeboye, Okotie and Oyakhilome go to toilet, it will make head line, the poo no come out, another news. Nawa for u na o. |
since we started this malpractice thing, as a country, we have never looked back, and that has been a propelling factor for us, as you can see, today it has paid off, we are now topping the chat of malpracting nation. May i say kudos to everyone involved, who has made this possible especially our leaders who have been leading the way through corrupt and sharp practices. |
Rusia is as corrupt as Nigeria if not more, so why should i loose my sleep over this. |
After the independence, Nigeria practiced parliamentary system of goverment, but having put so many factors into consideration including our ethnic diversity, Nigeria adopted presidential system of goverment, the same being practiced by USA. But from the look of things, it seems that this system is working for us. As can be seen, almost all regions in the country are complaining of Injustice, Marginalization and unequal representation. For me, i will put forward Communal system of goverment, such as being practiced in China. |
Not funny. If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in the book, and if any man shall take away the words from the book, God shall take away his part out of the book of life. Rev. 22.18. |
My dear fellow widows, P.D Jonthan, 2011. For some who don't know, she is a Biology graduate of Uniport. |
The Governor of Bayelsa state has appointed Patience Dame Jonthan, the wife of the president as Permanent secretary in the state. Is this a welcome development, or another means to be close to Aso Rock? |
That's my Boy Shola! Tinubu would say. |
Empty talk, islamizing Nigeria! By the time they have taken the fight beyond Benue, towards East of the Niger, then will anyone take them seriously. |
Abuja does not have large volume of passengers to fill airbus like the type we have in lagos. The last time i flew Ethiopian airline, it had to fly to Accra Ghana to get more passengers before proceeding to Dubai via Adis-Ababa. |
A gentle military commander, so gentle that he found it difficult to defend himself in the face of danger. |
Not news. It happens every day. |
They were shooting a movie titled Love don't cause a thing. |
In high school or college, we all at one time or the other fantasize about the type of person we wish to marry. Sometimes, they are realizable, and sometimes not. For instance, i dreamt of marrying a tall girl, fair in complexion, with long hair, blue eyes, good manner and God fearing. I ended up marrying a short girl, dark in complexion, short hair, good manner and God fearing. What about you. |
What else can one say, this was what Ojukwu saw over 40years ago and proposed a system of government where each region will be self reliance and govern itself, he was labelled a Rebel and was hunted by this same group of people, then allied. Now Ojukwu is gone, and they have turned their weapons against themselves. The best we could do is to sit on the fence and watch because, as far as we are concern, it's nothing serious, just a fight between two brothers or friends. |
An open letter to the Fulani herdsmen, could you please take this war one step forward to the door steps of our corrupt officials in the Aso Rock, Upper and Lower Chamber and let the poor masses in North have some respite from your ferocious attacks and that of your twin brother bokoharam |
Shebi we don talk am before, let's convene a National Constitutional Conference, where every the representatives of all part of this country Will sit down under round table, and review this Nigeria Project, air their grievance and see whether we can continue to live together as one people. |
