Pls I want to know this how many christian local Goverments are there in Kaduna. 11 if am correct out of a total 23 right ? So why should'nt there be an equal representation in Goverment. Now how many Muslim dominated local Goverments are there in Ekiti and please am from that side and i know the figures. All this issues are not supposed to be but this present administration as divided Nigeria heavily along ethnicity and religious line. Someone asked me what is the biggest problem of Nigeria we all know it isn't corruption but SENTIMENT.
11 Christian local government in Kaduna? Haba! Please, what national data did you "fart" this from? Is local government denominated by any criterium at all?

I want to assume you're not a Christian that resides in Kaduna? If you are, you won't be asking these questions.

yes, they can decide to vote in a Christian Governor, but have you asked yourself what will become of them after the election.

I have friends in Kaduna and they told me that they were forced to vote for Buhari during the last election, because they fear for their lives.

So, if you're not a Christian in Kaduna, you won't really know...
Ok, so you don't live in Kaduna?....but have friends who sold you this bull-crap.......or you just made it up?

Muslims are sometimes very hypocritical, MURIC and the fanatical OP will not speak out against this move by El-Rufia but if it were to be a Christian governor doing same thing they'll cry blue murder to the high heavens.
They cry when it doesn't suit them but turn blind eyes and deaf ears when it's all about them. They always want fairness when they are disadvantaged but always intolerant of others when it suits them.

This issue of mixing religion with politics was initiated and inflamed by those of the said religion.

This move by El-Rufia is capable of causing and inflaming the religious crisis in the state without considerations for other religions.

For a multi religious state like Kaduna, that's constantly plagued with religious crisis, it's only fair to have all religion involved in political decisions.
Bros,

Let's be sincere, no South East state has a Muslim governor or deputy.....so what blue murder has been cried?

Yes, he is trying to divide kaduna along religious lines because he is aware of how unpopular he has become and he knows he cant win next election, but kaduna is a delicate place and a religious undertone can lead to sudden support from the central and northern part of the state which will lead to a similar result to 2015 election
1. You submission is not even clear....... he's trying to divide Kaduna along religious lines because he's realises he's unpopular? Makes no sense. Say for sake of argument, I'll say he's exactly done opposite. In fact I dare say he's put himself up boldly for popularity test, that religious sentiments cannot stop him.........and as OP suggests, why not stop him at the polls

2. Kaduna is delicate/.....bla...bla.....bleh...bleh..... so sudden support from the central and northern part of the state will win him elections, you say? So you invariably agree that El' Rufai has practically won....so what is the cry then?

3. How come you people are not even looking at it from Gender perspective? He did say he's going to increase women participation in his government......

Crying over a Muslim-Muslim ticket in Kaduna further clarifies how hypocritical and hypertensive Christians can be...

Why do we have a Christian-Christian ticket in Ekiti?

Have you considered the ratio of both faith in these citieshuh

How intolerable can you people behuh
In fact, we do have Christian-Christian tickets in many states.....

Come to think of it, do we have any Christian-Muslim ticket in any south eastern state?

That scheme is temporary. Says Who? your wish? This government need to come up with long term strategies. Like? One of the bottleneck of the growth of businesses is power supply. The APC government as failed woefully in that area. APC has failed in power supply? They excelled in power generation and distribution? Bros, you mean you prefer the era when radio stations were announcing shutdown due to lack of power supply? or when Nigeria stock exchange announced to the world that they are switching power to generators and NEPA becomes a back-up? Improvement in power countrywide will great more jobs.

PDP & their Atikulooters plan to stop this and replace with fake PMS price reduction....
The price of fuel will not come down. Dangote will have to recoup his investment before that happens. if you understand basic economics, then you will know that price will definitely come down. Dangote will recoup his investments.....and after then what? Secondly is Dangote the only refinery that will be on ground? Dangote refinery combined with other refineries that will be activated, collectively will be producing 2x the local demand......imagine what that does for local pricing?

angry Can we discuss issues without insulting each other?
The program is a good one but It's poorly implemented and grossly politicized shocked
If the school feeding program is targeted at the next election then it has failed completely.
Investment in education in every serious nation is targeted at reducing poverty, advancing science and technology
improving on quality of lives etc.
We play politics with everything in Nigeria that why this program seems to be a tool for election!
You started with saying let's discuss issues............
yet you said the school feeding program is poorly impelimented and politicized ...you never mentioned "HOW". You baselessly asked "if the school feeding program is targeted at the next election......." like that was what the proponents told you?

You then went into "Investment in education in every serious nation is targeted at reducing poverty, advancing science and technology
improving on quality of lives etc."
yet you fail to (dis)connect this statement with the issues you ask to be discussed.

You now concluded (albeit poorly) that "We play politics with everything in Nigeria that why this program seems to be a tool for election!" Hmm!

What I see here is poor understanding, conception and articulation your thoughts and argument. Let me just address few issues for you to ponder upon

1. @poorly implemented and politicized - It is either you're trying to be clever by half or you're just patently ignorant. A program that is being painstakingly and comprehensively implemented is what you call poorly. A program that it's implementation put a large swathe of stakeholders (schools, farmers, caterers, poultry workers, health-immunization), etc in its value chain is what you call poorly implemented and politicized? Even if you decided to suspend reasoning just for the sake of "arguments", a program is robust enough to get the attention of Al-Jazeera (after having gotten the attention of BBC).....did not tell you something about it's implementation? Haba! Bros, fear God.

2. @ "Investment in education in every serious nation is targeted at reducing poverty, advancing science and technology
improving on quality of lives etc."
- This is just a vague statement that carries virtually no import in this context if you cannot situate it in the current realities on ground. Pray tell! is the school feeding program meant to serve the rich? Is it meant to reduce quality of life?

3. @Politics - I agree with you that we play politics with everything in Nigeria, if not, people like you that should have humbly declared their ignorance about the program and ask to be educated will not jump in with pseudo-intellect to make assertive statements. One would have expected that by now we are discussing sustainability and scale, we be discussing how to tightly integrate other aspects of the economy into the value-chain like local packaging industry (for example the tetra-pack model)

In summary....we can perceive your innate intention (deception) from a mile

This is the most daft, senseless and unintelligent statements I see daft people make. The way Buhari is running Nigeria is most needed for a country that wasted its past opportunities, plundered its resources through largely corrupt elements that had been in power. I actually listened to one of my respected Christian sister gave a teaching on Sex (obviously in marriage). She was very pragmatic and analysed along these lines as well. Among many things she mention, what got me was something like we need to have sex and elucidated its "therapeutic" effect. She gave a "testimony" of an event when she was much younger.........one day she was all worked up and was throwing tantrums at work and all that......... A friend at work placed a call to her husband......the husband asked the friend to give the phone to her........the husband requested she left work and meet him at home immediately.........they met at home and..........the husband gave her "HOTTTTTTTT". Without saying a word about her issue at work, the husband asked her to return to work. She said she got back to work a different person from the former........ It was obvious to everybody that she has been "relaxed" grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Ps: This sister is almost 30yrs in marriage
