Mrs, Chima:Would that be me? Don't worry! I won't tell them about us. Red heels it is! Or have I been replaced? Tell me now cos I'm almost there, P.S: I have decide to use d front door instead. Hope the neighbors are still asleep. |
I'll stick to the theory that she found someone else in Abj. If not no need to get him arrested if he was trying to find a way back by seeing her folks. She wanted to 'burn the bridge behind'. He should take notes and move on. |
Mrs, Chima:Yes ma'am, without fail. |
Mrs, Chima: Have copied and pasted. When you start that food chain of yours, pls let me know. Won't mind making my way across four cities to come and have a taste. |
Meanwhile all this talk of food I can't see is not good for my health. besides most naija guys i know can cook for themselves. TongueHad plenty sisters back home. Wasn't allowed to donate ideas in the kitchen. Now I'm helpless! |

I promise I won't even look at you Not that I won't be tempted to, but I'll subdue the devil. Meanwhile if u keep telling me what u cooked and don't invite me, I may be tempted to come rob ur kitchen obrb, MacrAnthon i'm going to fetch my cape and red tights!!!Now that's the best news I heard in a while, just mail it to me when u're done o jere, better person |
LOL, u two will make me pack my bag and head back home to my mum. Not fair at all #sad# |
MsDarkskin can I get an invite to cone eat some of those dishes? This poor single man hasn't eaten a gud homecooked meal in a while, And you just made him salivate. |
I understand what you mean.I have in my mind a pic of this guy who is highly recognized in the society but in a relationship with a shy girl who cannot even compose herself in public. There's a level of relationship which cuts across the usual lovey dovey stuff. The level where you play all roles (corporate and home front) so any famous fellow I believe would go for a more exposed 'in his class kind of lady' just to make it easy for him to network within those circles.I agree completely. I guess that's why you won't find George Clooney dating some unknown girl. Still, if she's smart and educated she should 'fit' into this lifestyle with time, except it's a 'village' girl we are talking about. 'Shy' people could be transformed with time. Association rubs off on people if they're smart enuff to recognize where their deficiencies and are courageous enough to make changes. Where these criteria don't exist then such relationship is hopeless. ![]() |
Interestingly Pendo, u might be lucky to meet a very down to earth famous person, for whom u may not have to adjust, except for the normal things u have to do cos u're seeing someone, like take them into consideration before u make certain decisions, was why I said everything else being equal. Yes, some of them are that down to earth. Few tho. But then again, what are we talking about? If u've risen up in life to the point where u walk in the circle of the rich and famous as to get there attention and date them, then u might as well be one urself, even tho it has 'levels'. Just saying. Except for those that work tooth and nail to land such relationships. If it happens effortlessly on ur part, maybe u're not so rugged and raw afterall. |
Would I prefer a famous lady over an unknown one(everything else being equal)? Definitely. It undeniably has it's advantages like peeps have pointed out already. But there lies the dilemma cos everything else is rarely equal. I know for sure that I wouldn't have had a chance with my last gf if I didn't have a 'gud' car cos she was one of d so called 'upper class' chicks that snouted at anything that remotely resembled lack. Needless to say I endured her for a few months and we parted ways. Making it a criteria is putting oneself in a tight spot - u just might lose out on peace and fulfillment at d end. |
lol, funny you ![]() |
Forgive me y'all but I think the big reason there's so much fight in here is that the forum has become the reality of some folks here. They have no life aside here so they take it seriously. If you spend over 3 hrs a day on the net, wen that doesn't involve ur work or school, then it's a problem. And if those 3 hrs r spent on nl, that's an even bigger issue. I look at some folks number of post and I can't help asking where they find all d time? Don't u wk or school? Contribute to society? Wen peeps have real issues they deal with then they won't take things here so serious. FYI, d drive to constantly check e-mails and visit chat rooms is a sign of Internet addiction similar to the struggles of substance abusers or impulse control disorders. It may not be too late to start working on limiting nl or Internet time. Find real friends, hang out and limit Internet surfing to respectable times. IOW get a life apart from a computer screen then u won't take things here too seriously. There won't even be time for that. http://l-pawlik-kienlen.suite101.com/internet-addiction-a11420 |
Good lawd! MRbrownJAY may your days be long! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkPWw2jSnhI&feature=share That's the drama these girls bring to our lives. We still love them tho, inspite of ourselves. ![]() |
He's a psycho.People just say these words loosely. I don't think you know who a psycho is. Do you honestly believe this guy doesn't know where she lives or how to see her, with the way personal info is all over the net, esp when u know someone's full names? That is if he didn't already get that info from her. Can I put it to you that she'd be dead by now if he were a 'psycho'? No one needs "closure" after one date. The only time such a silly letter would be warranted is if you've been with the person for several month/years.That wasn't the point, olodo. What he needed closure for was a response for all his attempts to reach her and know why she wouldn't see him again. People are built differently. Someone else wouldn't bother, and move on after one or two attempts, but peeps like this guy mull over issues a bit too much and want to find 'answers' for everything. It doesn't make them bad, just odd, I suppose. The girl was smart to avoid him.Indeed. I guess she's feeling like a star now with girls like u propping her up. But what goes around comes around. A simple text message at the beginning and the guy would have been on his way. How immaturity is viewed as smart beats me, an old douche bag for that matter. |
Why is he still walking d streets? He shld be in jail |
^^^he's not a psycho. He's just puzzled. Even if he kept repeating stuff over and again, it was still meant to be a personal letter. The least the lady could have done was return his call or send him an SMS, freeing him up to move on. Guess he just wants some kind of closure. There's nothing terribly wrong in that. |
If these people were chickens, there will be no more eggs!Looooool! Very true. They should come back home and protest nah. Idiots! None of them for once saw it fit to protest against the successive bad governments we've been having all these years. That said they do have their rights to protest whatever, just that we'll all pretend they aren't saying anything. What is more urgent is getting the economy and infrastructure working again, was why I thought the senate had misplaced priorities in the first place. Homosexuality isn't anywhere close to being one of the problems of the Nigerian state. They should face more critical issues and stop looking for cheap popularity. Idiots also! |
Very captivating. So much to learn from our history at that time. How come very few Nigerians leave for us history in the form of books. Ojukwu never wanted to write one, his wife also. The great nations of the world today became what they are by constantly re-inventing themselves through soul-searching based on lessons from their history, and hero-worshiping too! One of the tragedies of Africa is that we have very few heroes and role models to look up to and learn from. Unfortunately for us, even the few that are truly heroes have refused to leave for us their comprehensive stories told from their own pens whereby we could learn and become wiser. I pray this trend changes! When Emeka was a governor, he was young, early thirties because both of us were married when we were thirty. I remember one day, one ambassador came and left a small chain and pendant for him to give me. He rejected it. It took a lot of persuasion from everybody there before he accepted it. The case now is different.. O present Nigerian leaders, when will the same testimony be given about you! |
You guys can still make it happen na.I already did long ago. I used faith, turns out I was justified. Just saying for some other guys. ^ A naghi m anu ife e na asuI'm already getting headache trying to decode all the igbo on this thread. My igbo speaking is wack, reading and writing only slighting better. Make all of una have mercy on us biko nu. |
Freecocoa you for don post this picture since nah. Your vote for don reach 120 by now. @Chimezie, dude take it easy. Why that ur heart no cry since wey e never see picture, ehn? |
^^^on what basis have you come up with those points? Huh HuhI dey here dey wonder o. It makes sense tho but the point allocation is --- I'd have thought that kissing at the end should score more points than a mere touch, but that's just me. - any body contact such as she puts her hand on your leg/face/shoulders etc +50points |
We seriously need to protest, really. We are just going to keep having the same inept governments over and over again until we say enough is enough. I understand there is a protest slated for January 12 or 28 (not sure which). I hope it holds simultaneously in Lagos and Abuja. No one's going to commit to change when we are not dissenting meaningfully. So far Nigerians have thoroughly deserved the kind of leadership we've gotten. The big question is 'have we had enough?' Like I have said before, let one of us find the courage to come out to lead, and hope that others will line out behind him. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. |
Lmao! You guys are hilarious, Lefu, 190, Tellwisdom and Cork, I dey feel una abeg ![]() |
@Uchenna, ur ignorance is alarming. What do u think the $1.3B MPN investment in gas recovery will do? Won't that provide jobs and boost the economy? Didn't it occur to u that gas flaring is a waste of natural resources and any effort to reverse this trend is commendable? Nigeria used to flare about 70% of its natural gas. That has both economic and environmental impacts - negatively. So this is very good news my friend. From the employment angle alone, reducing gas flaring from 70 to 20% would have provided jobs for not less than 3000 people from the oil companies(must be over $5B investment) to the power generation and distribution companies to other smaller scale household gas utilization companies. Think about that. Kudos to the efforts that brought about this. Still, better late than never. |
Game over. Noticed it a while ago. @OP, u can open another thread now. This one don close |
Find out his fb name and send him a friend request. He shld take that as a cue and find his way back to u. My guess is that will settle the matter without u having to apologize. Goodluck. |
Red heels it is!
