Flawed you wrote because it's not UNDP and UN?

Now tell me why should your link be consider then?

Secondly, why not consider the questions raised my kaakulator3 if you are sure of your link since the link you provided prompted that questions?

Here again, is his questions :

Do you agree Taraba,Jigawa,Katsina,Yobe and Kebbi are more economically viable than all South-east states?

Do you agree these states are more economically viable than Akwa-Ibom,Cross-River and Bayelsa?

grin

Mind you, whatever you answer might be will expose whose link is legit and indeed if you believe in your so called link?

Waiting cheesy
You need your head examined. No where in those stats was it indicated that Taraba or Katsina is more economically sustainable than the SE.

You have lost it. cheesy

The OPHID report is flawed because it is not in tandem with reality on ground.

My guess on how they arrived at Osun being the least poverty stricken state is by taking cognizance of Osun formally employed populace, who were mainly employed by the government, those type of stats are easily obtained, Osun has no informal sector, everybody works for the government, giving a false impression of high employment rate, when in truth, Osun had an overbloated government work force solely dependent on ND petroldollars that came as monthly allocation, and on aggressive interest loans.

If crude oil prices didn't crash, Osun would continue posting ridiculous GDP and IGR stats to cover her overbloated civil service and complete reliance on FG monthly allocation, while gullible Yorubas cheer on, but with crash in crude oil, Osun's overbloated civil service and lack of informal sector became exposed.
https://www.nairaland.com/2529594/yoruba-citizens-sent-south-east

Above is Osun learning the need for a robust informal sector.

In contrast, the SE has a very vibrant informal sector, that would be very hard to access by Oxford, for how do you explain to them that a supposedly unemployed Igbo apprentice in Ogbete market, makes more money daily from extra charges he adds to his Oga goods than a minimum wage earning civil servant?

Only a micro economics assessment that takes real cognizance of these, like the one conducted by NAPEP https://www.nairaland.com/554457/anambra-poverty-rate-lowest-nigeriaand CBN can give a better picture of poverty rate stats.:

Only SS is more economically viable than SE and the reason is not far fetched.

Yes, I will keep referencing that thread, cause it dealth severely with your falsehoods, even Osun previously inflated IGR couldn't stand the test of fire, once the dwindling oil prices started biting them, Aregbesola had to come out clean to tell the world what Osun GDP is really, and why it won't be enough to sustain the state. grin

Be honest with yourself. He didn't decimate anything. He failed to prove that any substancial contribution emanates from the Eastern region to the non-oil sectors. Unfortunately, Yam and Cassava don't feature on any list of foreign exchange earners because unlike other Yam exporting countries like the Ivory Coast and Ghana, Nigerian Yams cultivation practices do not meet international standards that would enable substancial exports. I have perused data from IMF, OEC, and United States Embassy factsheet on Nigerian exports, and his arguments don't feature.

I think I have figure out - I confidently believe I have gotten that eureka moment regarding the East's Biafran fracas.

The east simply like a woman is looking for attention.

You statements like - they don't like us but are begging us to stay.
OR

You statements like this - ibos have advantage over Nigerians

OR

the latest - the 1966 coup was not motivated by tribalism - other parts of the country where involved undecided

The east really just wants a hug. And is not emotionally evolved to ask for one. I remember making a post reminding the easterners - they are Nigerians and are such have the divine and legal right to demand a fair treatment if they believe they have been treated unfairly (credible evidence must be available)

If they can simply do this , other Nigerians will speak on their behalf and certainly these perceived unfair treatments will be alleviated.

But no, they want to fight. It's like racism in America - majority despise it but there is still a group that still feels the need to be racist because its all they know. It's how they respond to their environment and it helps them maintain balance and provide the fuel they need to go about their day to day business. It's a pity, but that group of people are pretty close to their graves.

The east has this same issue - its sickening here because this same physiological flaw in connecting with people different than you are is been transferred from mother and father to child.
So many words, yet not a single sense.

Our position had always been and remain a completely restructured Nigeria where each region is 100% independent of the next region and have 100% or there about control over its resources and affairs.

That have never changed till now, that was a Nigeria Ojukwu demanded, and that is the only Nigeria that will stop Igbo demand for secession, everything else is waste of time.

Kemi, inconjunction with FIRS, will increase the revenue of the country. We can see it and feel it already. She might not increase our capacity to earn FX, but definitely Nigeria will not be broke and we shall be better off than the mess NOI left behind.

Kemi, with the anti-corruption war of Mr President, will definitely bring sanity into civil service and procurement process.

NOI came with a name and left behind an econom in ruins. kemi definitely do not have the pedigree but she will deliver. I careless abot pedigree once she delivers.]

]I will judge by the end of 2016. We are watching.
Adeosun was the commissioner for finance in Ogun when the state allocation from the FG was at all time high, but left the state at great debt and economically less viable than states that earned less from the FG like Enugu state. Throw in Ogun's proximity to Lagos, and Adeosun's failure becomes even more glaring.

It's only in Nigeria tribally charged political arena that failures like Adeosun who couldn't fix small ogun, is given a bigger job of fixing Nigeria.

To give you 'fluid' examples even a child can understand Do you know that Cocoa, produced in the SW, is Nigeria's second biggest foreign exchange earner after oil?

Do you understand that the service sector is one of the most important to the economy of Nigeria and that the SW alone is responsible for 55% contribution to this vital sector? Do you know what the SW contribute as well to Agriculture and Industry which are the two other biggest contributors to GDP after the service sector? I leave that as your homework of the day.

This shows that the SE has the most educated and cerebral citizens, a recipe for building a great nation.

The above shows that the SE receives the least from the FG, yet remain more economically viable than the North and SW.
A factor that shows that the SE benefits least from Petrodollars, and will be relatively less hit economically Post crude oil era.
