Abdallah She is not serious. |
The same Emeka that was busy chasing and cursing IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu Radio Biafra? Lol! ![]() He must vomit the Yam that he swallowed o! All these things Charles Novia dey vomit nah dogo turenchi, he better tell Emeka to be prepared for 9months in custody, after which "The truth" would set him free like it set Ojukwu in 1985. |
Well, Metuh didn't steal Igbo money, he stole Nigeria money. Nigeria is a cash cow that had been milked mainly by Yoruba and Northern elements who yet not only walk free amongst us but are part and parcel of the CHANJI government. Every body is milking the cow as fast as possible, cos they all know it's going to die, soon or later. Nobody criticizes Igbo rulers more than Igbos, while many Igbos castigated T.A orji, Yorubas revered Aregbesola who was even more corrupt and clueless than T.A orji. For all its worth, no Igboman should care much about Metuh ordeal order than to use it to prove a point to other naive pro Nigerian unity Igbos, On a regular day, it's Igbo men like Metuh that looks down on the pro secession Igbo and spread the message of pro Nigeria unity because of their selfish interests and national cake shares, they all know that a new Igbo country won't tolerate them, hence why they are all pro Nigeria. Let Nigerians deal with Metuh as they please, it's his albatross to carry. |
Freemanan:Don't worry, another Odi is loading on top of Ijaws head, maybe by the time Buhari is through, Timaya will use the death of his people to sing us another party banger. Children of end time. |
The same Mba that was busy helping Nigerians to hunt down the radio of the rising sun and saying all sorts of despicable things against the person of Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB? Lol. All these selfish and naive one Nigeria chanting Igbos who do so because of the loots they make from one Nigeria will so be stripped of those loots by their Northern and SW brothers and brought back to reality. They( Igbo political class and economically high ranked class) are so drunk with the loot from one Nigeria that they can't even think of existence outside one Nigeria, they are addicted, and like an addict will sacrifice the rest of their family( people) to continue getting their daily fix( loot). As for the rest of us the Igbo commoners, we will be watching them from the sidelines. One down, many more to go. If this is not a case of an enemy weeding out our enemies within, I don't know what else to call it. No Igbo man should cry for the likes of Mba, let their darling fellow one Nigerians deal appropriately with them. |
Kirigidi:You are simply not making any sense. Nri civilization was older and more magnificent than that of Bini. For while Bini used force to command submission, Nri wielded spiritual influence over it's area of influence. Putting Bini, a brutal barbarian empire built on Blood of her weak neighbors, with Nri, a spiritual powerhouse that preached spiritual holiness, peace and tolerance , on the same sentence, is an insult to the great Nri. |
mekaboy:Keep telling yourself that. ![]() |
Lol! The lamentations of a one Nigerian Igbo man. Aka nwebedi ife unu fuu, with time, all those selfish reasons and possessions/ investments you lots think you have in SW and North that make you lots to scream one Nigeria, will be carefully stripped off you by your fellow Nigerians from the West and North, you will be so much embittered that you will never find a voice to shout one Nigeria ever in your life again. This is only the beginning of your pains and lamentations, we can only watch you from a distance, you will soon see and understand why many Igbos became anti Nigerian, you are just a learner, keep learning, this is just the beginning. "Igwe nine naje n'uzu". |
DiademSh07:Lol! Google is your friend. The Jajas had already won the Ijaws who tried to claim the throne of Opobo. The supreme court judgement was that Opobo remains a personal estate of Jaja and his descendants, all Ijaws in Opobo were merely subjects and friends who accompanied him in his journey from Bonny to Opobo, they remain customary tenants to the Jajas. Jaja arrived Bonny as a slave, but he discovered and founded Opobo as a boss. I guess Ijaws are yet to grasp to significance of that Supreme court judgement, they soon will. The real land grabbers are the Ijaw tenants of Opobo, who felt they could hijack the throne of Opobo from the Jajas, go figure. |
DiademSh07:Can you show me just one direct quote from GEJ, where he said he is Igbo. GEJ said he was "one of us" , and we understood exactly what he meant by that. Only demented Igbophobic peeps with no brain cell failed to understand that simple English, |
dandyspak:And why were the Igboids eager to dump Ijaws in Bayelsa state? Let me guess, because Ijaws were angels, right? Ndiigbo have sympathy for Ijaws too, seeing how your lands have been polluted by Nigeria, but it's obvious that the Ijaws are Igbophobic and land grabbing of their neighbouring minority tribes and Igboland, which is why Ijawphobia is currently on the rise in Igboland. And by the way, I can concede that Nkoro is Ijoid( note I said Ijoid, as there are no Ijaws in Rivers state, all Ijaws were shipped to Bayelsa by Igboids) , but Opobo remains a personal estate of King Jaja of Opobo and his descendants who are Igbos by ancestry, and currently the language spoken in Opobo Is Igboid and not Ijoid, when the time comes, the Jajas will decide if they want their Island to be part of an Igbo nation or Ijaws nation, but seeing how you Ijaw migrants in Opobo tried to usurp the Jaja heir to the throne, Danderson Jaja and hijack the throne of his patriarch , Jaja to yourselves, I would be surprised if the Jajas decide to annex their Island to the Ijaw nation instead of the Igbo nation, when the time comes. |
coolscott:Lol! When are you going to spam this thread with your copy and paste verbose lies? ![]() |
Moreover, I don't really see the advantage of being in PDP as a rulling party brought for us, bearing in mind that PDP is a nationalist party, how much more do we think we can gain from being a part of innately Igbophobic and Islamic party like APC? APC or no APC, nothing changes for the Igbo nation, we would always get our allocation from the FG and with better governors, we can make the best of what we have while we continue to strategize on our long term goal of outright secession from Nigeria. This is my own opinion. |
Ike Ekweremmadu wouldn't be the deputy Senate president today if he was in APC. APC is full of strange bed fellows, the Yorubas are still eyeing the presidential seat, they believe Fashola is being groomed for the presidential seat ;DAtiku is still very much interested in the presidential seat, there are obviously going to be clash of interests in APC leading up to 2019 if Buhari stays for only one tenure or 2023 if he as I suspect completes his full tenure, they( Arewa and Yoruba components there) will cancel out each other. If we remain in opposition, be it APGA or PDP, we will become the beautiful bride , the tie breaker and Will chose which of the sides to side with, after getting concessions from the side, we win while a part of APC( likely the SW loses). If we join APC, we lose that bargaining chip. Let those our power hungry rulers join APC, it's important we have representatives there, but we the people must remain as we currently are. It will come in handy when Buhari vacates the seat, and the Yoruba and Arewa hawks in APC scramble for the soul of the party. |
Akpolagha:Where were you when Barcanista was dancing Igbophobic drum beats played for him by Igbophobic tribes of Nigeria. You kept quiet, didn't you? Well now the entire Ijaws will pay for Barcanista sins, we will return his Igbophobia in 1 million folds. |
The only reason y u people refused to join ur brothers in Bayelsa was because of Portharcourt and igbo abandoned properties u ijaws used the machinatery of state to steal. Valid points. Ebitu Ukiwe noted this when he was brainstorming with the Igboids delegation on how to push the entire Ijaw into Bayelsa state, without making Abacha to suspect foul play. |
Chinazaekperem5:Lol! Your hate blinds you from seeing even the obvious right in front of you. APC is dragging the Ijaw heartland, Bayelsa with PDP, but you couldn't see that APC not only dragged the Igbo heartland, Imo state with PDP, but they also defeated PDP just within days of GEJ loss to Buhari led APC in the presidential election. In your myopic mind, Ijaws should be praised because APC was only given a chance to challenge in Bayelsa, even though they lost in the end, but Igbos should be prosecuted even though APC not only was allowed to challenge PDP in Imo, APC won Imo. The Igbophobic mind of the average Nigerian that defies every logic and rational reasoning is a wonder to behold. |
Ibeno community rejects inclusion in new state By Aniefiok Macauley Correspondent, Uyo Stakeholders of Ibeno Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State led by their paramount ruler, Owong Effiong Bassey Archianga, have rejected the inclusion of the area in the proposed Oil Rivers state by the presidency. Addressing the media and elders of the area in his palace in Ukpenekang, the royal father said he and the people of Ibeno council disassociate themselves from the current agitation for the proposed Oil Rivers State with headquarters to be located in Isaka/Bakana or Degema of Rivers State. The monarch stated: ‘‘That the state and Federal Government of Nigeria should as a matter of importance ignore or disregard such purported state creation demand as Ibeno people and their communities disassociate self both physically, soul and in spirit.” Archianga said the agitators of the state creation from Rivers State communities never consulted his people. He said there has never been any political agreement/arrangement, MoU or communiqué reached between Ibeno people and their brothers from Rivers State on the creation of such state. The royal father maintained that the Ibeno people and communities shall continue to remain an integral part of Akwa Ibom State and not elsewhere while remaining loyal and supportive to the administration of Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State.dailyindependentnig.com/2013/02/ibeno-community-rejects-inclusion-in-new-state/ OWONG EFFIONG BASSEY ARCHIANGA Just look at the name of the paramount ruler of Ibeno clan even his title resembles the Ibibio "Obong", it doesn't take a genius to know that "Owong" is a dialectical variant of the "Obong". |
. |
SexyKaycee:Obolo and Ibenos are Ibibiod tribes, they are no way Ijoid, let alone Ijaws proper. This was why the Ijaws proposed oil rivers state with the Obolos and Ibenos failed. Ibenos and Obolos rejected the Ijaws and held unto their Ibibio brothers. |
On the Igbos dominating all in Eastern region, I believe the 1958 willink report cleared that. I will try and Post a condensed form of that report here. |
TonyeBarcanista:There are no Ijaws in Akwa Ibom state, your land grabbing will be the end of you. The Ijaws ruled the old Rivers state with Iron hand because they constituted a majority there, that was the purpose of Bayelsa state creation championed by Igboids, it was aimed at rendering the Ijoids a minority in the New Rivers state, and to enable the Igboids to perpetually lord it over Ijoids while the majority of Ijaws shipped to Bayelsa can only watch helplessly as foreigners in the New Rivers state, and it worked, they( Igboids) through the help of the Igbos( Ukiwe and Azikiwe), beat you( Ijaws) at your own game. You became a political minority in New Rivers state by design and not by co incidence. In Delta state, you are a minority amongst minorities and was never going to amount to anything politically, but it never stopped you from your land grabbing disease, did it? You had been slugging it out with your superiors, the Itsekiris there, and you have maintained you battle for the soul of Warri. In Ondo, you had been totally assimilated by the Yorubas there, you now speak Yoruba language as first language, lol! What chance do you stand by causing trouble when only Ilaje will handle your Bleep up, without even involving the rest of the Yoruba nation. You are land grabbing, but you certainly know your limits. |
On the topic of the thread. The middle belt and the Hausa fulani deserves each other, it's a match made in Hell, and no Wise Igbo man should ever think of puting asunder. Middle belt are strictly on their own, we( Ndiigbo) should treat them as one with the north, cos in the end, they are one, you know the unity between the prey and predator, a perfect match made by nature. More Igbos died at the hands of the so called middle belters than at the hands of Hausa fulanis, as they fled from the far North through the middle belt to the East, the Makurdi Igbo massacre by Tivs and Idomas was even worst than those of Hausa fulanis, it was clear that they( middlebelters) had to prove they were even more Igbophobic than Hausa fulanis to gain acceptance and recognition from their Hausa-Fulani masters. Ndiigbo should learn from history, let the dead bury themselves. Look around you, nothing has changed. |
christopher123:Yes, the Igbo aboriginals of Ette town, who are Nsukka people are holding forte. Neither the Idoma nor Igalla can take Ette, Ette remains Igboland, the least those Idomas and Igallas can do is migrate back to Benue and Kogi states respectively, it's nobody's fault that their invading ancestors were not able to totally colonize Igbo people in Ette or totally assimilate them. They( the Idomas and Igallas) must assimilate into Igbo language and culture like the rest of Igallas and Idoma people that invaded Nsukka other Nsukka towns did. Many Nsukka people today actually are descendants of Igallas invaders in Nsukkaland who over time became assimilated into Igbo culture and language forever. |
FacebookTwitterSMSWhatsApp BY CYRIL OZOR NSUKKA—Enugu State government has closed down about 16 primary and one secondary schools, as well government offices, including the local government secretarait in Ette, a border community with Kogi and Benue States following disturbances by some of the indigenes agitating to be merged with Kogi State. According to sources, the area which is in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of the state was populated by Igbo, Idoma and Igalla communities who had been inter-marrying for ages. An indigene of Etteh, Mr Tony Ogidi is cuurently representing the Igboeze North 11 Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly. However, the agitation by a section of the community to be merged with Kogi State started sometime in 1980, during the administration of Chief Jim Nwobodo as governor of old Anambra State, just as the Igbo speaking part of the area had been opposing them, insisting that merging them with Kogi State would put them in minority. Sources told Vanguard that the matter which had defied political solution was thrown out by the Supreme Court on February 8, 2007 for lack of jurisdiction. The court in its ruling read by the former Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Alloysius Katsina-Alu stated that it was the duty of the National Boundary Commission to delieanate boundary between Enugu and Kogi States, prompting the commission to the visit the disputed areas about two years ago. Other members of the panel which sat on the case at the Supreme Court included Justices Umaru Kalgo, Mahmood Mohammed, Walter Samuel Onnoghen, Francis Talba and Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed. It was not known if the boundary commission had made the demacartion but the matter was alleged to have degenerated during the last national census when some youths prevented officials of the National Population Commission, NPC, from coming to the area throughout the exercise. However, officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, were chased away from some parts of Etteh during the registration of eligible voters by those protesting the inclusion of Etteh in Enugu State, resulting in the inability of some voters to be registered. An official of the Enugu State government who spoke on the issue on the condition of anonymity said, ‘’it is true that Etteh community is under siege by pro-Kogi youths in the area. Though Etteh has always been a flash point in Enugu State, the situation worsened as pro-Kogi youths of Ette, possibly aided by the Kogi State government, sacked all Enugu State Government’s institutions at Etteh, including the Igboeze North West Development Centre secretarait, a magisrate court, the education authority, and all about chased teachers in about 16 primary and one secondary schools out of their area. ’’During the last WAEC/NECO examinations, candidates who registered in Ette were moved to the neighbouring schools at Umuopu, Umuogbo and Aji as happened during the last general house of assembly election which was won by an indigene of the area, based on the zoning polical offices in Igboeeze North 11 Constituency (Umunana). Meanwhile, the work on the Nsukka – Ibagwa Aka- Enugu Ezike – Ette road, awarded by the Enugu State government to link the area with Ogugu in Kogi State had been stopped at the Etteh end of the road by youths who had threatened the contractors handling the project if they attempted to entre their area. christopher123:Probably from Ette town. An Igbo town that got invaded by Idomas and Igalas in the ancient time, who now lay ancestral claim to the land. Ette is in Igbo Eze North LGA of Enugu state. www.vanguardngr.com/2012/07/communal-clash-enugu-closes-schools/ https://www.nairaland.com/1920606/10-houses-razed-scores-injured/6 |
DiademSh07:Lol! Joker! Go tell that to Western Igbos. |
"Our Igbo origin has never been in doubt before and after Civil War. Anioma people were known as Western Igbos before the Amalgamation of Nigeria in 1914. And in 1939, the Obi of Agbor, Obi of Idumuje-Ugboko and the Obi of Aboh, for themselves and the entire Western Igbo people, petitioned the Colonial Administration for carving out the Western Igbos from their Kits and Kins East of the Niger. Consequently, in 1956, Western Igbo leaders organized the AMA1 conferences where it was resolved that the answer to the political problems of the Western Igbos was to create a West Niger Igbo State with the Headquarters at ALIDINMA. The agitation for the creation of the West Niger Igbo State assumed the name ANIOMA after the civil war". ohuzo..co.ke/2010/04/political-suicide-anioma-people-cannot.html?m=1 |
DiademSh07:Yes, Anioma was never a part of Eastern Nigeria, but it was known as Western Igboland by the colonials and was one with the Eastern Igboland in a Southern Nigerian protectorate that had no Yorubas in it. It wasn't until later that Yorubaland then known as colony of Lagos was added to Southern Nigeria, which until then had no Yorubas. It was from this new southern Nigeria now containing the alien Yorubas that the southern Nigeria was once again divided into two in 1939, but rather than return everything to default state, ie separating Yorubas from southern Nigeria again, Bourdillion for economic purposes decided to cut a portion of the old Southern Nigeria and added to Yorubaland and renamed Western Nigeria, while the rest of Southern Nigeria was renamed Eastern Nigeria. That was how Western Igboland was separated from Eastern Igboland and added to Yorubaland and renamed Western Nigeria in 1939, a move prominent Western Igbo kings( Obis of Aboh, Idumuje- Igboko, and Agbor) fought against, insisting that they had nothing in common with Yorubas but rather should be reunited with Eastern Igboland in Eastern Nigeria. http://archive.org/stream/anthropologicalr04thomuoft/anthropologicalr04thomuoft_djvu.txt Thank me later for the history lesson. And oh, river Niger mean nothing, it's rather a uniting factor between Western and Eastern Igboland. |
DiademSh07:Anioma was added to Western region in 1939, prior to that, they had nothing whatsoever to do with Yorubas, Yes Anioma was stolen from the Eastern region in 1939 and added to Western region in 1939, and many of their prominent kings protested against that separation. |
She is not serious.
