icenti: Has this been reviewed or it’s still the same? Reviewed but people have moved on. In some countries transfer from Nigeria is flagged or doesn’t go through. In summary Dom account is not worth it unless you are a businessman or earn from social media contents |

icenti: Please I’ve noticed people usually use third party apps like LemFi and eversend to send money from Nigeria to overseas. Is there a reason why they do not want to create a domiciliary account, fund it with USD and then spend from their card outside Nigeria or do a wire transfer to their foreign bank? Someone educate me. https://nairametrics.com/2020/02/23/cbn-restricts-withdrawal-of-foreign-currency-deposits/?amp=1 under buhari/ emeifele. Dom accounts funded with cash could not be transferred. Transfer fees too are high using dom account. So many people just looked for alternatives. |

Jeboy: Planning is very key from the set go to achieve whatever you want in life. So many people want to make it without due diligence of researching successful outcomes.
What is the rate of a successful asylum filing? Do you know the implication of a failed filing for Asylum? Desperation is making people lose their sense of reasoning. Continue with your asylum voyage. At least you will remember my post. i’m a Canadian citizen duh. If you like plan from now till tomorrow majority of Nigerians cannot qualify for those work permits because our people don’t own those companies. Job offer is being sold illegally for 20k to 40k cad. Plus the indians, Chinese and others who own companies are using it to bring their own people. Na African store business you wan use bring in Nigerians🥱 |

Jeboy: Really I get perplexed when Nigerian folks feel it is ONLY through declaring as refugee in Canada that you can get a pathway to getting status in Canada.
I will share the options of applying for work permits and it is left for you to research which options are explorable by you.
The goal is to engage your creative minds and not to accept a way that is cheap but can set you back in the next 10 years and put the credibility of your fellow citizens at negative.
Mine is to share while yours is to research. all these ones na cho cho cho. Majority of the people that declared for asylum planned to get work permit till they landed and their eyes cleared and funds finished. The chances of getting these things are very slim. No be only you wise pass. |

Kingzizu: Please my people, I have never been this confused and bothered in my life.
I have a Canadian VV, I couldn't use it for the purpose I needed it as the visa came out some months later. I have relatives in Canada who are convincing me to come over and seek Asylum. It's new to me but I'm still trying to make some research about asylum seeking.
I graduated 2015 with a CGPA of 4.3 and since then I've not been able to get a good job.
Please, is it worth it considering the fact that Nigeria is getting worse by the day? which story do you want to give them that they haven’t heard before? (LGBT, Boko haram, bandit, female genital mutilation, domestic violence) . Your chances of getting it are slim. I know someone who came in 2019 her asylum was denied and her life has been in limbo since then. Do the right thing like people have advised. |

Debymayor: Greetings great people
Pls forgive me,Incase I posted in the wrong section or didn't do things right. Am still a newbie, trying to learn how to flow through the platform.
Please I need advice on the best approach to follow.
I am a graduate with first degree in Biochemistry, also have an associate degree in Medical laboratory science and has been practicing as a medical laboratory scientist for years. I contacted an agent who helped me with PR and PNP with British Columbia. Though he said I have not entered pool due to score. Since last year, nothing much,so I decided to try other route and as well do it myself as Nairaland has taught me that it's actually possible
My first bet was study route, then the visitor route. I had to consider the visitor route due to high tuition fee/POF. But information am getting here is that I might not really able to work or stay back with visitor's visit
Hence,I need advice on this areas.
1. Which of the two is best for me. I hope to travel with spouse and 3kids.
2.Incase I go alone, how soon can my family join me?
3.Also is it possible we all be granted visa, then the principal applicant goes first while others follow. I ask cos spouse insists we all must go together or everybody gets visa same time then principal applicant can now go . 4. Affordable schools suggest as I don fin taya
I await responses pls the visit visa promo has ended. Even if you are able to get it its asylum things. Which has no guarantees as deportation and public ridicule awaits as they already know your asylum story is likely lies. Abike Dabiri visited canada last year and many of those who got visit visa are stranded. https://www.thecable.ng/dabiri-erewa-visits-stranded-nigerians-in-canada-cautions-against-illegal-migration/amp/Go and learn French to increase your chances of PR or go hustle for tuition. Cousin9999: I wanted to post this because every black parent must have this conversation with their kids, and stop them from being isolated with these people.
This is not an uncommon story (e.g. Caleb Obari, Tamla Horsford). Police and media sweep these cases under the rug. It's a part of the reality that l**** mobs never actually stopped.
Nonblacks are mentally ill. They are not normal people. _________________________________________________________________________________________ An aspiring medical student was left brain dead last month when his friends pushed him into a Louisiana lake knowing he couldn’t swim — and then looked on while doing nothing to save the drowning man, according to a report.
Shocking video shows the group casually peering into the water moments after they shoved Christopher Gilbert off the dock at Lake D’Arbonne in Farmerville on April 14.
At least one woman can be seen slowly entering the water before abandoning the rescue mission.
It was another 10 minutes before a patron at a nearby restaurant intervened and yanked Gilbert back to land — just in the nick of time.

He has a C.E.P.E (Equivalent to Nigerian School Certificate). He owns shops. He's into spare parts. So, obviously, he hopefully intends to do menial jobs as a non-skilled individual over there. I need your guidance. Thanks there is no visa for non skilled individual from Nigeria. Canada only has temporary work visa For agricultural workers from South America or Caribbean countries. |

Why is this happening Many came with padded or borrowed Pof hoping to work and pay the bills and tuition. But the economy is so bad that jobs are scarce. At the end of the day most of these asylum claims will be thrown out of the window.

Kaymanz: Good day everyone.
I recently lost my elder sister who was residing in Canada after immigrating through the express entry route last year.
We are currently making arrangements for her burial, which will take place in Canada. What are the necessary steps for my family and I to attend the burial, and which visa should we apply for? Despite searching online, I haven't been able to find helpful information on this matter.
Kindly assist if you have any knowledge on this. Thank you. its tourist/visit visa. No guarantees they will process it quickly as there is no priority option. Like someone said it’s best to attend virtually instead of paying funeral house thousands to hold the body. Sorry for your loss. |
