by applying on indeed.ca, jobbank, linkedin. You may have to apply for 5,000 jobs before you may get one offer or no offer at all. Employers have to prove that they could not get Canadians, PR holders or post graduate work permit holder on ground to do the job hence the need to hire from abroad. No harm in trying tho. Some people have been lucky.

A 20-year-old Indian student has been arrested and sentence in the United Kingdom for raping a woman last year.
Preet Vikal had carried the “intoxicated” woman to his flat in UK’s Cardiff and raped her in June last year, the BBC reported. South Wales Police also shared the CCTV footage of Vikal carrying the “intoxicated” victim in his arms to his room.

Vikal had met the victim while she was out with her friends in Cardiff city centre. The South Wales Police said in a press release that while the victim was initially seen with her friends, she became separated and was later seen on CCTV being carried by Vikal along King Edward VII Avenue and North Road.

The BBC quoted Detective Constable Nick Woodland from South Wales Police saying: “Stranger attacks such as these are extremely unusual in Cardiff but in Preet Vikal we had a dangerous individual. He took advantage of an intoxicated and vulnerable young woman who became separated from her friends.”
The Police added than an “extensive” trawl of CCTV led to Vikal being identified and arrested.

Vikal has been sentenced to six years and nine months in a young offenders institution. The engineering student, who admitted to rape, will serve two thirds of the sentence in custody.

Prosecutor Matthew Cobbe told the Daily Mail: “The victim had drunk to excess and by the end of the night was, plainly, hopelessly intoxicated.” She remembered waking naked next to Vikal, Unaware of where she was or whom she was with, she asked for Vikal’s Instagram address and later reported to police, as per the Daily Mail report.

Louise Sweet, Vikal’s advocate, told the Daily Mail that he was from a village in Delhi’s north, who won a scholarship for engineering. She added, “He was the first of his family to go to a university, the first of his village to go overseas and study. He was fulfilling his dreams to come here and those of his parents.”
