tell them the truth. Unfortunately many will not listen. If they are not coming with funds or have where to stay then oyo is their case. They need funds pending when they can find a job willing to sponsor work visa in their 6 months stay. They are calling you so they can stay in your house too lol. Canada is not USA where you can work without papers.

your old posts says you are a PR in Canada. You should know to be honest. If the person doesn’t have who to stay with he or she needs to come with funds for airbnb/room share , feeding and other bills. A modest person will spend around 1200 to 1800 cad a month.

If you got any skill that can get you a good job in the USA such can also get you a good job in the uk. A lizard is a lizard in any country no lizard can turn crocodile because of change of environment.

this is the fact. If you didn’t qualify to get a job in USA from Nigeria you wont suddenly qualify because you schooled in Uk. Focus on getting relevant skills in the Uk that can give you a better job. Dont go to usa on another student visa you may get stuck after.

The reason I reach out to you is because there's no thread for Nigerian community living in the UK on nairaland. But if there is such thread, direct me to it, and this one can be taken down.
As we all know major jobs in the UK is care and most of us wants to relocate to the US for better, how do we begin and can we get a job offer from here into care jobs or based on what we studied? Or does it require us into applying for another masters degree program.
Please what's the best way of relocating from UK to the USA for those of us who has finished school and doing care jobs in the UK.

Going to US as a student is also not guaranteed you will get a good job many end up marrying to stay. If you have relevant skills like nursing, doctors, tech, auditing etc you may be able to get a job offer in USA. Usa immigration is more brutal than UK

The assessment they are asking for 50k, is basically for free on page one of this thread and youtube videos. Whether you qualify or not the lawyers will take your money.The choice is yours.

asylum has casted. They are not buying the stories people are telling them again. They are currently deporting people whose asylum claims failed. Boko haram, bandit, gay, female genital mutilations etc worked for people 2017 to before covid. Casted now . Unless maybe you see someone to marry.

Why should they want spend money, even hire a consultant to help process LMIA and visa for someone on visit visa. It will take a miracle to get a job offer on visit visa. the chances of getting a job while on a visitors visa is next to zero. There are PR, Post graduate work permit guys on ground that can resume tomorrow who haven’t gotten jobs. 99% of the job applications will bounce you once you click that you dont have work status during application. Alot of people are currently stranded in Canada thinking they can get job with visitors visa. Those runsing jobs are paying up to 20k dols for 15 dols per hour job. My fellow countrymen beware o. Canada is not USA

Please anybody with more information about the New Zealand recovery visa,

employers will likely take workers from nearby oceania countries or Asia. Its a temporary visa and Nigerians dont have good record with such visa. They will not want to return home after. You can try your luck trying to get a job offer

What documents will be required of me?

Both IOM and Qlife state what you are to bring for medicals. I just checked iom now they have a pdf summary of the process.
