Please for those in PPR stage or those in Canada, did you attach statement of account with reference letter? I'm seeing too many contradicting info about this. Some are of the opinion that it's not necessary, others will say it's good to attach it. Abeg una own fly without SOA?

People have gotten PPR without it. Some were asked for the statement of account by the visa officer via ADR. Different officers with different views and assessments. If i may ask what are you hiding that you dont want to submit it?

not entirely true. There are cheaper second hand electric bikes and scooters. Indian students are surviving on uber eats even in snow storms they still do it as there will be a surge and promotions then. They dont have two head sir

I am in Toronto eglinton area and With what I have seen here in canada I am disappointed. This is not what I expect. There are centinnial college students who has been here for 5 months looking for just common menial jobs and they can’t find any. Anyone that have high hope coming here will regret it. It will take several years to get things together in canada.

What kind of job did you think will be available to students in the first place. Many students came to Canada with borrowed funds and showing proof of funds. Now they are crying. You better endure and wait for better days. After all no one forced you to apply.

its not paltry, its even on promo. 20 gig is around 60 to 70 dollars normally. Home unlimited wifi 60 to 80 on the average.

You need to evaluate your BSC and diploma to get two or more degrees.

Please i have a question, the travel date on that application submitted was October for my flight ticket however, I had to open the ticket and cancel the hotel reservation done as the application from July 16th is still being processed, please what do i do? I can't spend money buying a new ticket again, i opened the current one i have but they can't issue me another ticket until i have a travel date and seeing that the application is still being processed, i don't want to spend more money choosing a date and i don't even know when the visa would be issued. I don't even know if i should make another hotel reservation, but i don't even have a travel date because i don't know how long the visa processing will take. Please can someone advise me?

just wait till they process your application. Its not advisable to do hotel reservations or ticket for Canada visa because of their processing time. Many of those who have gotten the visa here didn’t have reservations for flight or hotel.

Hi Senior parents in the house,

My family and I are planning to land in Canada towards the end of May. I’m currently pregnant and will be 30 weeks pregnant by the time we land. Our plan is to land in Burnaby, BC given that my brother stays there and himself and his wife have offered to house us during our initial months especially given my current state.

From my research, the Medical Service Plan (MSP) for BC doesn’t become active until you have spent 3 months in the province. The advice given by BC government is for newly-landed immigrants to register for private insurance that can cover them during the 3 month waiting period. However, private insurance doesn’t seem to cover childbirth. I will most likely go into labour before the lapse of the 3 months and because I’ve had a prior C-section, I am likely to have a C-section again. The out-of-pocket cost for C-section is around CAD12k which is a lot and unlikely to be refunded by the time my MSP becomes active.

I’d appreciate any advice I can get from those who have had babies in their first few months of landing. What do you think is my best bet?

to get two or more degrees one of the credentials must be of 3 years or more duration . So you are to evaluate both bsc and post graduate.

you have been advised to start from page 1. The applicable IELTS is stated there. It appears you have not checked your scores or even read about the process to see if you even qualify. Funny

you do not have good home ties. Your friend sponsoring the trip is also a red flag. You can try your luck regardless

2. My friend got 8 years, another got 2 years. Seems its case by case basis
3. Depends
4. Chances of that happening is very slim or impossible. Majority of the employers in Canada are only interested in hiring people with status in Canada already. Even from the job application they ask for status.

PPR means passport request is applicable to all types of Canadian Visa

There use to be a pathway during covid time which allows temporary visa holders like VV to convert their VV to an Open Work Permit so far you have got a job offer. During this period, alot of VV holders were stuck in Canada due to Canada closing their borders and they were in shortage of workers, so an executive order allows employers to hire a temporary visa holders and subsequently get a work permit.

your last sentence is actually funny. This is why Canada rejects most of the applications by Nigerians for Visiting visa unless the person has strong home times. Many want to use it to flee and not come back. Canada is one of the countries you don’t want to live illegally on an overstay Visa. One can survive in USA as an illegal Immigrant but Canada nope
