Apparently, to be recognized and respected as a nation, nuclear armament is vital.

Imagine Russia didn't have nuclear, they'd have been rubbished by the US by now.

Finally, global and local events has shown that meekness, docility is a sin, stubbornness is a virtue. No one wants or respects a gbolor.

All this over sabi. Abeg face front.

I was even pissed that Nigeria joined in voting against Russia in the unga.

We seem to not realise this is NOT OUR WAR!
this is not our business.

As a matter of fact, Africa should even be the one anticipating it, if only we have smart leaders.
With a war to handle in Eurasia, these imperialist will have less resources and time to focus and meddle in Africa, we can steal that moment to reboot and rejig our system.

Also trade wise, one of the fallout of wars is the strain it puts on the economy of the actors as it affects production, we can seize that to turn the balance of trade in our favour.

More over, these pale skins don't give two flying fish bleeps about us.

If Nigeria was up and doing, with our crucial position as the most populous black nation, with our resources, we should be a world power or something close to it, at least a shot caller.

You shared my sentiments.

US did worse than Russia in Iraq, Vietnam where they used napalm, and now you mentioned Hiroshima and Nagasaki

Farid24224:
Eggzactly what I was talking about....They caused a lot of mayhem to the world but they were not sanctioned or banned...This is to show you that the world is 110% unfair..They tested an experimental bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki....Just imagine...As if they are animals...Even Animals have a right.. Because of this I support the Russians but I feel for the Ukrainians..

Health › Re: Where Does Our Soul Reside by mariovito(m): 7:54am On Feb 19, 2022
Why are horses, dogs, raccoons, vultures, eagles here?

The reality of your question is why we formed religions, cults, countries, associations, soul.

Humans as a collective can't deal with the fact that even with our so called higher intelligence, it may be possible we are here for nothing. We can't wrap our heads round the fact that life may be meaningless. That our life as humans equates with that of any other living thing.

So we made attempts to distinguish ourselves from others.

The truth remains that we here for nothing.

So instead of wasting the little time we have to spend here preparing for heaven or a destination for our souls in the here after, why not be like the hog or the fox or bird that focuses on living, just living and nothing more. Maybe we'll make the best of here instead of wasting away here while hoping for a better place after.

Interestingly creepy. So, why are we on this earthly journey?
Health › Re: Where Does Our Soul Reside by mariovito(m): 8:06am On Feb 18, 2022
There's no proof for it.

However, it has been shown how hormones, neurons and neurotransmitters play on the human mind to create almost any kind of effect, from having a spiritual experience to out of body experience.

Lol. I get it.

We need to build very strong systems here.

Systems stronger than individuals.

That's the only time death as a punishment for corruption will yield results, if not, if we should introduce it the way the country is, the ruling party will use it to wipe out the opposition.

What we have here are individuals stronger than the systems. So they can rape it and get away with it.
