ImaIma1: How do they even live their lives according to some concept and rules? Isn't it easier and more convenient for them to be themselves? A lot of these men are people with low self esteem/confidence using the alpha male concept to cover up their insecurities.
There is nothing as easy and effortless as being yourself. You don't know what the MGTOW movement is all about. Educate yourself on it and stop strawmanning. |

DeSepiero: You're not getting it straight. MGTOW is NOT same as Alpha male. Try to understand these concepts. I explained to funmisticqueen what MGTOW movement is and how it originated but she still prefer to live in denial for selfish reasons. Notice how every female on this thread are strawmanning and shaming MGTOW guys and praising men that marry and provide for their women. You won't get their motive for doing this until you contemplate who stands to benefit more if every man tried to fit into their narrative of who a real man is. That's why I tell guys to be the ones who define what makes them real men not women or else they end up becoming women's fools. These women know that men don't owe them anything and that they should try to be independent but because life is hard, challenging, filled with ups and downs, they start favouring the narrative that men are supposed to provide despite calling themselves feminists. The cognitive dissonance is too much. I am sure wetdick is rejoicing and filling fulfilled given that females on this thread are supporting him. This is what gives him his sense of being. Jeferious: Genuine alphas- of course they exist- would not bother themselves with the viewpoint of the op. A lion does not bother itself with the opinion of sheep. Anyone who claims to be an alpha male here and yet reacted emotionally to the op's assertions needs to check his "Alpha" status again. An Alpha is rarely emotional, and would never exhibit the slightest visible trait of insecurity. Nah. Correcting someone's ignorance and calling one out over the misrepresentation of our group is not a bad thing. Use your standard on yourself and don't generalise. |

wetdick: i guess you are talking about the western men, Not in Nigeria and Africa that i know, which African man will have money and not flaunt it with women. western MGTOW are men who hate rejections, do not have games or basically those heart broken by women.
Pls there is nothing like MGTOW in Nigeria, just men who dont have money, virgins or cant toast a woman, simple as abc. You keep on making unintelligent generalisations. You clearly do not know the reason for the MGTOW movement. Go educate yourself. |

funmisticqueen: well said. MGTOW is just a coping mechanism till their testosterone levels drop around 50yrs and midlife crisis sets in. By then it is almost too late to start over and they end up as sugar daddies. Despite explaining what the MGTOW stands, you are still feigning ignorance behind the movement's motive. Denial is a strong thing. |

kollinzgee: if you think alpha is all about laying women your brain needs oiling .you dnt even understand what alpha means despite all the years of lectures in nairaland sorry man go and refund your school fees man. Don't mind wetdick. As I said, in a thread I created under the moniker Martinez19, he is a beta cuck. The idea that getting the attention of women and getting them laid is an achievement is only what beta males think and pursue. As a result, they let women define what makes them real men and they hustle to gain the acceptance and validation of women. What a sad and miserable life. Every post of wetdick exposes him as a shameless beta. Trying to rubbish the term "Alpha male" won't make it go away neither will it make one a superior male. |

hoopLA: I didnt wait till that point. Moved on. Ife stress no let me.
Meanwhile pastor let the girl carry extra session. After all that went down bobo pastor go carry anita babe.
So in the end she suffered too.
As for those pastors, they will be judged. Their deception as I knew it was out of this world. They lie and cheat and deceieve Student pastors are as heartless as their elder pastors. There was a case where the student pastor told sister A that god said he would marry her. Later the pastor met beautiful sister B and he changed to "god said I would marry sister B." The funniest thing was that after his relationship failed with sister Blair, he went back to sister A and said that god said he should marry sister A. Confusion. I don't know if he and sister A went back together. They are heartless. |

There was this one girl I had or though i had. Fine girl from middle belt area. One pastor kept having his way on this lady all in the name of fellowship matters.
Things I couldnt dare to try na so pastor just dey camp dis girl.
They are mostly liars and con men. No be today all these pulpiteer conmen start their way. As I have said, one of the worst cases is when these student pastors tell girls "the Lord told me to marry you." If your girlfriend is a mugu, say bye bye to her. |

Beety26: Bless you abeg. I believe this thread is for matured minds. And we shouldn't be shy in expressing ourselves. People are here to learn from others mistakes, we shouldn't be shy. Come to think of it, we make mistakes sometimes and it's never a crime if we learn/advice others so that they won't fall into the same hole.
It's helps a lot if we talk about our pains/ challenges.
Me, I dey my husband house... it's never rosy but we try our best. We have our moments but our one goal is to " make it work" . Marriage is an empty box, you get whatever you put into it.
If you want a loving home, both parties needs to put in more love. Marriage is not 50/50, it's 100/100 of both parties efforts.
Abeg we need more of matured minds here not small small people with small sense Great contribution. Don't mind those children on this thread. They think life is a bed or roses and marriage is like they see it on telenovela. Marriage is not easy and anyone can have a failed marriage. No one is a mind reader and has no authority over their spouse's behaviour and actions. It's a good thing that those who have made mistakes gather and make sure that the younger generation don't repeat such. Once again, thanks for your contribution. |

diadem10: in as much I regret the mallady shuabu found herself but this is to tell christians to apply wisdom in all things even as the bible taught us. Shuabu shouldn't have acted differently from the rest because Im quite sure she wasn't the only christian among the kids adopted. Even Jesus told his disciples to quickly leave places they weren't wanted and that the dust of the disciple's feet would judge such people on the last day. Same applies to that redeem woman that kept on going to preach at a place even after they had warned her not to. Leaving a place you are not wanted is different from denying Jesus. Shaibu didn't want to be a hypocrite. It's just bad that she wasn't sensible to be an atheist like me. |

AnyoneButAtiku: @OP who lines up a long list of ills associated with socialism, also readily admits that the examples he provided are hardly 100% socialist. To be clear, without meaning to do so, he inadvertently reinforces the view advanced by the socialist party of Britain; which holds that there are no socialist countries in the world at present.
Moving swiftly on, would the same clown be prepared to accept that some of the most stable economies in the world today - Denmark, Norway and Sweden - also have strong socialist systems? Why is that so? Would he acknowledge the benefits that accrue from the provisions made by the state in the areas of education, health care, pensions, and so on, in those countries? Not hold the same opinion with you doesn't make me a clown. When I mentioned the so called socialist programmes, I only mentioned America. Those programmes aren't even socialist in the strict sense. No matter how people want to put it, Venezuela is a socialist country and that is the cause of their suffering. Full blown socialism. A lot of people ignorantly mention most of the countries you stated to support socialism. They are capitalist economies. Here is a quote from the prime minister of Denmark.

sonature1: Stop the pretense. No marriage or relationship ends with the two parties feeling good about it. Yes, one spouse, who had really given their best to make it work, will be feeling bad about it. More often than not, he/she lives in pangs of regrets. If what u said actually happened, deep down you know I am right. No. Some are happy to walk out of their marriage. To them divorce is freedom. |

Do not sleep on your watch please!
In the society described above the community that owns the means of production (if they do own it), is not in charge and does not oversee the means of production! Socialism does not delegate its communal responsibility, everyone plays their part. A society where the above is done is not a socialist society. Lol. Okay o. |

budaatum: Socialism is a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.
The checks of socialism is the regulation by the community as a whole because they own the means of production, distribution, and exchange! The community owns the means of production but the leaders are in charge and oversee the means of production. These leaders/politicians are in charge of distributing wealth/generated capital. So, "the politicians live the high life" ? Is that because they don't receive the equal pay of the janitor? They live the high life because they have exploited the absolute power socialism gave them as overseers of the means of production. They may spend all they want and leave little or nothing for the people. Imagine if equally distributing wealth will leave everyone with #10, won't you think that these politicians will be tempted to hoard some so as to have enough because ten naira is too small? So even if their intentions are good, they would be tempted to abuse their position and it might spiral down into a money laundering dictatorship. |
