No one is making jest of him and calling him lazy. We don't hate him or wish him to suffer. Most of the time, we men, unlike women, give those we like tough love. We are waking him up to reality. He has to realise the way things are and humble himself to appreciate and take the opportunities that come his way no matter how small they are. Life in Nigeria no easy. I wish him well.

Abeg shun that talk after all the money invested in him he should end up in one village school with 5 students. What a waste of a graduate. It's better he does tutorials and home lectures in the city
Let's get it straight. No university forced anyone to go to school and besides, no one owes you a mouth watering job because you are graduate. NO ONE OWES YOU ANYTHING. A good country and working system will not fall from heaven neither can prayer bring them. A good country, freedom, good system and good standard of living will come to Nigerian when Nigerians are will to pay the price to bring it. These things don't come easy and many Nigerians are expecting to come just like that. These things cost blood and sweat.

Don't mind them. When reality hits them hard, instead of them to sit down, reflect, analyse and accept the truth, they will not gree grin. They will think it's village people, wicked aunty/uncle, or powers from mother's/father's house and they will become more prayerful and start fasting and even run to prayer and deliverance grounds to "free their destinies". grin

hmmm bruv whatever providence and privileges you enjoying now be grateful and enjoy why it last. This is his time to struggle and find his path. Lifes direction or path has nothing to do with the Type of Government, its a matter of choice, the success due to energy and passion, now that he's face with all of this he only needs encouragement with his battles i believe u should help with that and if you not capable in that, silence would have been better, you can't revolt a govt with empty barrels and expect favorable results.God help us all..
My problem with Nigeria youths is that they are detached from reality. Oga, for many people, their location and it's government, system and security are crucial to their success. Imagine if Carlsen Magnus was born in Nigeria, will he be who he is today?

Imagine if Lionel Messi, whose parents were poor, was born in Nigeria, the bribery and politics would have prevented him from shining this big. Besides, FC Barcelona helped Messi combat his growth hormone deficiency. Would he have treated his growth hormone deficiency as a Nigerian? Would he even smell FC Barcelona? Would his Nigerian parents even let him play football? He would probably have written JAMB to study some course in the university? How many of our female basketball players(D'tigers) were nurtured and groomed in Nigeria? Remind me where Anthony Joshua was trained?

A doctor in Venezuela will earn peanuts thanks to the economic meltdown brought about by Maduro's implementation of socialism. For such doctor, would he be suffering if he was working in the US or UK? Remind me why Nigerian medical graduates are running to the US, Canada, UK and other developed countries? Why don't they stay here, since according to you, location and government does not matter? I got the shock of my life when I was discussing with my American friends online. Those that studied Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Zoology and other STEM courses were bragging and carrying their shoulders. These jobs are good paying jobs and prestigious over there not to talk of Medicine, Law and Engineering. Can you please tell me about Physicists, Mathematicians, Zoologists grin, etc. in Nigeria?

Oga, location can play a huge role. In Nigeria, some have sicknesses that they can't combat because there is nothing the Nigerian doctors can do but they don't have money to travel outside from successfully treatment.

You youths are just too damn hopeful. High hope is deluding youths. grin

Lol. You don't know what to do? OYO is your case. Lmao grin

But let's believe in God my brother, God will make a way for us where seems to be no way, lets hope in God almighty
This is the problem with youths. They are always having hope. If only you people would be realistic and calculate the odds against you guys. This is similar to every one having high hopes that they would win the lottery. With this mindset, Nigerian youths and reality will not have a good first encounter. grin

You are right about ladies picking the best option but we shouldn't encourage this trend because it is one sided/lopsided
When a man climbs, he draws a lady up but when a lady climbs, she looks up further for who to pull her up more there by creating a gap/hole/lopsidedness in relationships because more and more guys will be left stranded at the base.
One reality that really hurts me everyday is that i know deep down, they only reason why my wife or any lady at that is interested in me is because of what i can provide and if i can't meet up, then breakup is on the horizon.
That's bad.
That means we are not practising love in this world but just deceiving each other
You are right. I wish this thing call true love is real, I really wish but I just have to face reality as lover of truth. Love exists only in the head of men. As a man, once you can't provide, the "love" your woman has for you will grow cold. Na so life take be, I take am as I see am. You are right when you say women love to marry up. This is true. If a woman cannot see a man higher up, they will not get married except if they are the type that see marriage as an achievement. Those women you mention that receiving #300 per day are "below" the men they married.

We are already digressing from nigerian youths. grin

I tink the problem is EGO.
There alot of ladies dat can stay wt a man even if u are earning 15k per month but d average graduate will never look there way bcus those ladies are illitrates.
We want our mates but our mates mouth don wide and dey need a bigger man.
My mechanic as a wife who he gives #300-#500 per day as feeding money with 2 kids yet d lady is faithful but i can't even date such illitrates, God forbid.
I heard a program sometimes abt how mch people are giving their wives before leaving home, my broda
See ridiculous amounts - #300/ #500 per day for a woman wit children.
Me wey be say i dey gv my wife 100k per mnth yet she still dey complain bitterly and we argue and quarrel alot before agreeing.
Life is a bitch.
Sometimes sef i dey fear say wat if i know get work or a reduced salary, hope say no be kasala for me so.
I envy the low earners like vulcanizers, roadside mechanics dat are married yet wit wives and no issues, funny enuf dis idiots are still fornicating oitside ontop moni wey no reach
Those wives have no better option. Naturally, women will settle with their best opinion. Those men are their best options. If those women upgrade themselves and a rich man who is willing to give them #100k per month surfaces, they will branch along. Take a look at the women you described, how many men are willing to date them? What are the kinds of men that date and marry them? It's the men you describe. The posh and educated Lagos girl cannot settle for #300 per day. grin We can agree to disagree her sha.

As for Nigerian youths, they have to wake up and hold themselves accountable.

The reason why prosperity preachers and their messages sell among young people, especially undergraduates and below, are for the following reasons:
1) Everyone wants to hear the good news that their future will be bright and they will make money.
2) They are still being provided for by their parents and they have not seen life to know that it's not by decree and claiming it.

These two reasons are a perfect combo. Notice that the population of these churches have youths as the overwhelming majority. Those that reality slaps hard like SARS operatives run to MFM and other pentecostal firebrand deliverance churches to "free their destinies." grin grin cheesy

You know one thing? The problem with the youth is that they always think they are special and somehow, they will avoid harsh reality but after nysc and no more support from family again.
They collide with REALITY
As in grin. Like hot volcanic lava gradually and increasingly overtaking a helpless village in no time, reality drips in to squeeze and crush their arrogance and their immense delousory self-importance and hope for the future like kilode cheesy. Many think they are not like others and their life won't turn out like others. In fact they don't even think of others. Those that are struggling, are they fools? Who told anyone they don't want to make it? Are they less "special"?

For some of these young ones, their pastors are helping to deceive them. "the Lord said you will be a star", "the Lord said you will make it", "decree and confess your success and it shall come to pass" etc. grin Many think successful is their birth right and is so sure for them. Due to this, when things don't go their way in life, they start throwing tantrums, feeling depressed/suicidal, and running to prayer grounds. grin grin

Good life, good system, good standard of living, freedom and safety will not fall from heaven and they won't come easy, man must make pay the price to make it happen. Our youths are complaining of hardship yet they would vote PDP and APC.

Another theory is that the good times in the west, the prosperity they have enjoyed (and are still enjoying) gave rise to these weak men.
This is very true. The easy times and privileges in the US has led to the rise of SJWs and snowflakes who champion political correctness because they are easily triggered by words. These soft humans also have the time and space to whine about cultural appropriation. Do you know that if an American man wears a chinese traditional clothing, people will be offended and scream cultural appropriation?

STOP SPREADING LIES.

A woman can decide to have an abortion if raped. She can decide to keep the baby and the man will pay child support. Whether the child is aborted or not rests solely on the woman's choice.

A raped man cannot escape child support if his female rapist decides to keep the child.

Nothing is balanced. Prove me wrong with specific evidence. Keep helping Martinez39 prove his point.

I genuinely can't seem to wrap my head around how those men decided to create a system that basically screws them.
That's what happens when men become weak; put women on the pedestal; reward women just for being women; and make women their equals in intellect, virtue and morality. Let them rot. Haven't you seen men willing to throw other men under the bus just for female validation and attention? Ever wondered why MGTOW started over there?

a female rape victim that got pregnant in a state where abortion is not allowed even for rape can simply travel to states where it's allowed, do the deed and come back to her base!!!! the man's child support has no such workaround so No! it's not both ways
In the US, if a female teacher has sex with a male minor, the minor will pay child support when they come of age. These male victims are usually working more jobs to cover up the cost in addition to the student loan on their neck.

In the US, even when it is proven that you are a victim of paternity fraud, you are still made responsible for the child. They cover this injustice and gynocentric privilege with "we have to do what's best for the child".

In the US divorce court, if your wife says you are an abusive husband and you sexually molested your child, she will be automatically believed and she will get custody of the kids and, if she wants, a restraining order against the father. These fathers will then have to go to anger management classes(an institution filled with annoying feminists. grin).

In the US, women get way lower jail time compared to men for the same crime.

In the US, if you can't pay child support or alimony because you don't have the means to, you will go to prison. grin Lmao. How will that solve anything? In many divorces, the woman gets to keep the man's home even if it means the man being homeless. Need I remind you that the man will have to pay for his wife's legal fees? Lmao. grin

Can you imagine giving half your net worth(50-60%), your properties, alimony(30-50% of your salary) and child support to a woman just like that? Mind you, they don't determine what money is enough or sufficient for the woman. They just fix an amount and percentage.

Prenuptial agreements are prenuptial agreements until the court decides that it's not. grin

Socially, society is tilted against men.

I could keep on going on and on but no time Mr. Landlord. Any stupid moniker trying to shove bullish!t and lies down my throat is not worthy of a response. wink

https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/09/02/statutory-rape-victim-child-support/14953965/
Oga Landlord, I am no saying you should not argue, you can if you like but just know that the girl you are arguing with is not ready to use her brain. She is lost in her emotions and she is just manipulating to push her narratives. She didn't tell you that abortion is legal in many states in the US and any lady can travel to any pro-abortion state and have her abortion. She is a child of lies and her arguments are clever lies that I can debunk if I want.

I would have tackled her seriously on the gynocentric laws of the US but I can't be bothered to respond to her.

Lol. Very good. Let everyone be suffering. Everyone wants to drive bugatti and build big house but they can't unite to revolt against their corrupt leaders who have sold their future; brought a bad system, and are raping them left, right and centre. Oga, look at other graduates that are struggling with #18k/month, what made you think your case would be different? You are special? You are smarter? They are dunce? grin Hehehehe...

Freedom, safety, a good system and good standard of living won't fall from the sky and they don't come easy. America is where it is today because their forefathers gave sweat and blood to liberate and prosper America. Now, everyone wants to go America.

Oga, the truth is that not everyone will make it in life. Many, throughout their lives, will only get just enough to survive. You have to humble yourself and be grateful for the jobs that come your way. Mind you, be prepared to lose your girl when a rich man comes around. In fact, she might be seeing someone else. It's best you break up with her.

As long as :
1) youths are still voting APC or PDP;
2) youths are not revolting against the system; and
3) youths are oblivious of the great odds against them and are condescending to think their future is somehow somehow bright and they are special even though many are suffering,
Youths will keep on suffering. Don't worry when you youths are tired of dry cleaning, selling bags of foodstuffs, driving keke, modelling and dancing dirty on music video, prostitution etc. after four or more solid years in the university studying courses that are unrelated to your business, no be person go tell una to revolt. For now, take heart. grin

Woke and triggered Snowflake's everywhere. When I was into reading romance, I discovered it was the female writers that mostly dwelt on all those sensual and erotic aspect of the story. How many male romance writers are out there? How many men do you know specialize on writing erotic articles? We're in an era where people just wake up and look for something to be triggered about and a gaggle of brainless fellows will echo it as the latest "wisdom" in town. I was having a chat with a native American Indian on Twitter and this dude was seriously triggered because Italians use tomatoes to cook their famous pasta. His reason? He claimed tomatoes are an Indian american cultural heritage and for Italians to use it to cook pasta is cultural appropriation. What a crazy world we live in now where the mob and outrage culture won't even let you Cook with tomatoes without having someone getting triggered over it
Are you minding them? The man that wrote that article is a Mr. Nice Guy/Mr. Save the Woman/Mr. Treat Women like Princess. I can't stress my self on people like this. People these days lack a thick skin.
