I wrote jamb in 2013 though I passed but I heard that there was a mass failure that year. In trying to follow the issue, I stumbled on nairaland. I and my sister got stuck on nairaland for a while but we were guests.

I stopped visiting in 2013 but came back around 2016 as a guest before I registered as Martinez19. grin What caught my attention were the funny comments and the variety of news, chats and reactions.

Top 3 in the ballon d'or award 2018

1.modric

2.ronaldo

3.griezmann

Modric this season 2 goals 7 assists

ronaldo this season 28 goals 10 assists

griezmann this season 20 goals 12 assists

3 players combined -50 goals 29 assists

Messi this season 50 goals 19 assists cool
If Messi fails to win the ballon d'or, I will stop watching football. How Modric won the award in 2018 still beats me. If felt either Ronaldo or Messi (personally I think Messi) should have won the 2018 award. grin

..Do you know what a no-deal means... It's like agreeing without any details on anything. It's not workable. Everyone wants a deal. How will they relate, how will they trade, what will happen to immigration and stuff like that without a deal.
Lol. Do you think you are talking to an uninformed person? What do you mean by "without any details on anything." You guys are funny with the trash you say. grin grin

No deal brexit aka hard brexit means that Britain leaves the EU without any legal binding to the EU and that Britain are entirely independent of the EU. This means that they can be a sovereign nation and make their own laws. They can CONTROL their borders and trade on their own terms with other countries. No deal brexit is very workable and better than being in the EU. Norway is an European country but they are not a member of the EU, how then does Norway relate, trade and control their border?

The ideas that a no deal brexit means that Britain will isolate themselves from the entire world is a sign of great ignorance on this issue. Finally, speak for yourself, not everyone wants a deal. Brexiteers don't want a deal. Have you even read Theresa May's horrible and treacherous deal? Let's not get started. grin

@ LordReed, jesusjnr and XxSabrinaxX

I think I remember the thread he is talking about. Michelle called out the double standard and bad behaviours of many christians. Among these behaviours were christians trying to exploit her financially; christians pressurising her to come to their church programmes and some even trying to sexually exploit her.

For the sexual exploitation, I said to jesusjnr that I hope he wasn't part of those trying to do such or else I would deal with him if I found out. This came after various exchanges between myself and jesusjnr. I did not accuse him of anything and I was playful about the whole thing. Why is he bitter and calling me and Sabrina names? Anything? grin

....if another referendum takes place today the result will be the opposite because popularity vote have shown more don't want the Brexit
Lies, lies, lies and more lies. Brexiteers are still going strong, they know what they voted for and more remainers are even becoming Brexiteers. If a second referendum was called, brexiteers would win by a greater margin. The establishment wants a second referendum not because they think the remainers would win this time around but because they would rig it. Besides, in Europe, many countries keep conducting referenda until the establishment gets the results they want. grin

....infact the idea was sold to them without proper knowledge of what it entails and the process.
Lies from the pit of the remain campaign and the MSM. Nigel Farage, then of UKIP, repeatedly made it clear what leaving the EU entails. Stop creating complexity where there is none. Leave means leave.

And who wants a Brexit with no deal....that certainly is not favouring the UK.
Brexiteers want a no deal brexit. That's what they voted for. A no deal brexit is best for the UK. Don't tell me that you think Theresa May's is a good deal.

Let's see how the next PM will deliver, finally na there problem....

Absolutely. He wasn't even the only one. He and another moniker were playing the role of dream interpreters in that thread and they both fell for my trick. The other moniker ran away when I exposed my trick but PROPHETMicheal felt the need to curse. After that encounter, we clashed in other threads that year. He still called me Otobo and told me that my lifestyle of trying to pull men of god down would cost me my life. PROPHETMicheal, the dream interpreter, told me in early 2017 that "what was going to happen to me at LUTH is going to happen soon." This meant that a horrible health tragedy was going to befall me. What was my offence? I exposed his sham called dream interpretation. I made up a dream and asked him to interprete it and he brought an answer which he claimed was from the Holy Spirit. I called him out on that and exposed my trick and he cursed me. grin cheesy

Theresa May did not drag the Brexit.. She was looking for a Brexit with a deal but not a no-deal Brexit which is the fear of everyone.... How was she treacherous?.... When I mean complicated I mean the intricacies are so much. The EU is making it so difficult for the UK. Do try and follow the Brexit ......
Lol. Before the referendum, every major player for brexit and UKIP said leaving the EU would also mean leaving the single market. Besides, the people never voted for any deal. Besides, have you read her horrible deal? That deal is what prisoners of war offer their captors. A very terrible deal of surrender it is. Brexiteers never voted for such a deal. They voted to leave the EU and single market.

Mrs. May promised that even if her deal was rejected by the Members of Parliament, she would honour article 50 and deliver brexit without a deal. What happened? Each time her deal was rejected, she extended article 50, brought her deal again and called for another vote in parliament. This happened again and again coupled with the fact that she bought time because, according to her, she was negotiating with the EU. Theresa May's deal, in it's current form, also includes the possibility of a second referendum — what a traitor to democracy and her nation.

Infact the Brexit is now unpopular in the UK. The intricacies are so much, infact they never saw it this way. The issue of Scotland, Ireland, border, economy and trade is making it very complicated
Lol. They've started again with the talk of how complex the process is. Oga, the process is not complex. The main reasons for brexit votes were: 1) the issue of uncontrolled mass illegal immigration, 2) the need for sovereignty and 3) the protection of their culture, values and identity.

Brexit has been purposely delayed and dragged by the treacherous Theresa May.

This, being the only thing you said in your very agreeable post, I can't understand why people say it! Cameron should have known the majority would vote to Brexit. He apparently never knew, never prepared, and had to resign because he lost his Remain mandate. And I think he should be tried for treason for getting us in this mess in the first place.
David Cameron committed no treason. He promised the people that he would deliver a referendum and he did, what's wrong with that? He wasn't prepared for the result as he thought the remain campaign would win and he didn't want to soil his reputation by being undemocratic to please the bosses in Brussels. He might be incompetent but he is not a traitor for calling a referendum.

Imagine! UK exits from Europe! Doesn't it sound like we'd have to move all of Britain to off the African coast or something to exit Europe? Or is it the Britons who move leaving the land in Europe where it belongs?
Lol. Europe is a place while the EU is organisation. Just like Norway, Britain can leave the EU and still be in Europe. What you just wrote is absolutely ludicrous. grin

They gave May way too much to do and broke her. We'd see how this all plays out come Halloween.
Lol. Theresa May, a staunch remainer, accomplished nothing. She purposely delayed brexit, crafted terrible deals and extending article 50 despite promises to honour the votes of members of parliament even if it meant a no deal brexit. She always went back on her promise, extended article 50, brought back the same deal and ordered a new vote. Have you read Theresa May's deal? What sort of deal is that?

She is a traitor of democracy and a traitor to her nation. I rest my case here, I shall say nothing more on this issue.

Even those who know nothing about Brexit are calling her useless. Whoever manages to get them across, the people would come for his head sooner than later, because the EU has decided to make them the perfect Scape goats for anyone thinking to tow the same path. If they are to return to the EU they would be treated as newbies with no seat on the table and if they finally leave, the economic impact would be devastating, companies would leave and British companies would be taxed to death abroad just to name a few. Theresa May knows this and that's why she tried to push for a second referendum undecided
Lol. Theresa May is a traitor of democracy and a traitor to her nation. The Britian does not need the EU infact, the EU is collapsing and needs Britain. The EU knows this and are afraid hence they are using fear mongering and name callings. When Hungary banned immigration of Muslims, did the EU not threaten thunder and fire? What have done to Hungary? Nothing! Absolutely nothing!

Britain is better of without the EU. Without the EU and with a hard brexit on WTO standards, the UK can enjoy the following privileges :
1) regain their sovereignty and can make their own laws.
2) they can control their borders and effectively obviate the destruction of their working class by the uncontrolled massive influx of immigrants.
3) they can strike trade deals with other countries on their own terms.
4) they can boldly protect their culture, values and identity. These are under threat given the clash between Islamic values and western values. The vices and unwillingness of illegal immigrants to integrate can be tackled without the fear of being called "racist," "xenophobic," "islamophobic," and fear of losing your job or being expelled from school because you happen to be "right wing."

@bold

One thing society has done is making us believe the following:
1) All mothers care for their child(ren).
2) Mothers care more for their children than their fathers. Ever had that "there's nothing like a mother's love"? grin

These assumptions are used in the court of law to automatically grant women custody of their children in the court of law during a divorce, all things being equal.

Are these true or false? If you can, make an argument for your answer.

NB: please be reasonable, this is not an attack on any gender. I will not tolerate stupidity.
