Are you really sure about your claim of being a Geologist and a Graduate of the University of Ibadan ? I don't want to believe that because of the highlighted part of your statements ! lolzzz.. I don't need to show you my details, I stayed in Amina way, and ijeoma road very close to my dept in my 400l... I just told you what it is.. No way we could av had the first Prof in Geology to be a black man when white south Africans have been in the forefront of Earth science since 18th century. |

VEHINTOLAR: First Professor of Geology IN AFRICA ! When we tell those loudmouthed, village dwelling ,hate filled primitive people from Alaigbo that Yoruba people are several thousands of miles ahead of them, they always think it's an exaggeration ! Yoruba are not competing with anybody, progress and development are naturally well embedded in our DNA !
Na Naija dey slow Yoruba people down,IDAN people for don go far ahead of even many European nations ! This is a fact, after all, the old Western Region got Television station,Standard Olympic Stadium,Network of Asphalted Roads, etc ahead of many of today's European countries ! This is why I sometimes laugh whenever these village dwellers from across River Niger try to compare themselves with the great OMOALADEs ! We no be your great grandfathers mate, walahi ! Just type FIRST in Nigeria or Africa and see the wonders of Yoruba people of western Nigeria ! No be by mouth o o o,Chinedu ! oga take it easy please, am also a Yoruba and a Geologist from UI... The man is the first black Professor in Geology.. Not the first African Professor in Geology.. The first African professors in Geology are white South Africans.. Afrikaneers... Mining has been their way of life since the days of boers there.. The title is grossly misleading. |

Ofodirinwa: It is international convention, not something determined by 'the supreme court'. The Supreme court interprets the constitution, which has nothing to do with oil. am so sorry, I never knew I was quoting the chief prosecutor at the Hague... When they tell you guys to go to school and you refuse, you are free to display online anyhow you like. What has international convention got to do with composition of a Nation or form of government, I bet you have no idea the difference between a Federation, Co federation, Unitary,System of government. So the Supreme Court Made a pronouncements on oil and you still saying it has nothing to do with oil, what did it have anything to do with sand? Oga quote me from now till thy kingdom comes i wont answer you, because you just displayed your level of reasoning, and I don't think you can afford my time.. Shalom. |

dominique: Let's hear from the wife's side, a 3rd party cannot just come out and be heaping all sorts of accusations. Did he live with them? How accurate is this picture he's painting?
He mentioned something about the woman's brothers having to scale through a fence to attack Saint Obi. Why would siblings have to jump the fence to gain access to their sibling's home? That part no too clear. Could it be because they were locked out and they had to take drastic measures to get to their sister in the situation she was currently in? A marriage produced 3 children, suddenly her brothers are jumping over the fence to attack you. Them your wife abruptly leaves you and files for divorce. Make it make sense! i tire ooo. Maybe.. May God forgive me he was beating the woman and the siblings have to come and rescue her.. That part no one knows.. No one will know.. How can they jump fence? Because someone is quiet doesn't mean they are nice, how did they know it was the woman that told him to quit acting.. Maybe he had other plans himself.. People have no idea people change once they are rich or get into a wealth status.. Why not invite your friends to your wedding for heaven sakes.. May his soul rest in peace... sunsweet33: Of course they found the message exchanged on their phones, they are not so stupid as to indict without enough evidence. On top of that, there are 2 other doctors involved, including Senator Ekweremadus own brother.
And on top of that again, dr obeta has used the same plot to dupe another person out of his own kidney before. so reasonable doubt cannot work here because the chain of events is obvious.
Your point would be valid in Nigeria where the law allows people to distance themselves from their acts as a means of claiming innocence, not in this case where they will keep digging and digging until all connections have been unearthed.
You say delegation of duty causes these, but you forget the famous sign US president Truman planted on his desk: the buck stops here. in western environments, whatever you delegate or allow others to handle is still your responsibility. wow thanks for the update, I was not that conversant with the details of the case... Never knew it got to that point and the doctor have done similar thing before.. So sad. |

sunsweet33: It was the doctor and his psychopathic tendency that caused the whole thing but the Ekweremadus “big man with even bigger God” mentality enabled him to behave like that.
A learned scholar, a seasoned politician, an experienced lawyer who even endorsed the Anti-slavery bill for Christ’s sake. He should have been the first to understand the optics surrounding such act.
If they were so innocent, how did they allow themselves get mixed up with such a dubious character as the low-life doctor who also scammed another poor soul out of a kidney?
That is what the judge explained to them when he sentenced the wife. He said he doesn’t accept that they didn’t have a hand in it. its only due to human compassion that the daughter was not also jailed because it is so obvious that she was involved in the plan. your last statement... That's why there is reasonable doubt, if there is no recordings, video, audio or written one tying them to the crime directly, a good lawyer should get them out jailing the daughter would av thrown the British law upside down, she is a patient for heavens sake.. No way would she be in the capacity to make such a decision.. Am not a fan of the man.. My own is it could av happened to anyone that delegates duties to others. |

sunsweet33: Brother what part of “it is illegal to exchange human parts for money in the UK” don’t you understand??
Passport change of heart bulabala is not the issue here. As soon is as it was established that The Distinguished Senator tried to *buy* the poor hawkers kidney for 5 million bucks, that was the end of that!
He could have gone to another country where such things are not frowned upon, but he was trying to form posh while using a cheap style. “Only the best for my darling daughter” but you can’t even bother to check if the boy had received the correct amount. Rubbish.
I can’t believe a whole lawyer can be as ridiculous as this. If you’re going to do something like this, why not plan very well rather than embarrassing yourself buying human organ is frown on anywhere in the world for even transplant, but still getting a "willing" donor is the work of the doctor, not the Ekweremadus, how they get donors is usually left for them to handle plus they don't do it for free, even in the case of a free donor, they still charge money for it, but like you rightly said if he personally or indirectly approach the boy and paid money for his organ, then he has no case. My point is with a very good lawyer in am Appeal Ekweremadus might be freed even in the UK, it all depends on how the lawyer present his or her case, no matter how air tight or confession they might have got from him... With a good lawyer he might get out, the Doctor is the real culprit here, imagine the hungry doctor collecting just 5 million naira from a Nigerian Ex Deputy senate President, who is still a senator, and giving just 650k to the donor, the doctor should be hanged. |
Politics › Re: ‘Ekweremadu Taught English In Wandsworth Prison’ by masseratti: 5:33pm On May 13, 2023 |
Biodun556: The process violated UK law:
1. The donor must not be vulnerable.
The boy is extremely poor
2. There must not be reward for kidney donation.
Ekweremadu gave 4.5 million naira to buy the boy's kidney. The doctor he sent gave the boys 270,000 naira.
3. Ekweremadu did not and was not willing to meet the boy personally. Which means he was just interested in his kidney and does not care what happens to him after donating his kidney
4. He did not make any provision for the boy at all except the 4.5 million naira he gave the medical doctor
All these and more oppose UK law am not holding fort for Ekweremadu, but he is a busy politician, very plausible he never met the boy, nothing wrong with that, nothing wrong in him contracting a doctor to get him a donor for his daughter for heavens sake he is not a medical doctor hence he can't know who can be of a match to the "man" let's stop calling someone going to his 30s a boy please, I honestly see nothing wrong in what he did, it could have happened to any concern father, only thing I found wrong in the whole story is seizing the boy passport,if that is true tho. |

I dont understand something here, can't he appeal this case? To me he has good grounds for appeal, there is no way the guy that was suppose to be a donor did not know what he was going for before he had change of heart, only thing I guess is wrong is seizing his passport, that's a no no in the UK and most European countries, its as good as subjecting someone to slavery.. Apart from that he has a good case IMO. |
