PeterObi4LP: If they take the billions to bank without defending the source of the money, EFCC will arrest them.
Secondly, it is called money laundering because you don't suppose to keep hundreds of millions in your house.
Thirdly, as Governor, you don't have any business to keep state funds running into billions in cash of with you. there is absolutely no law stopping you from storing billions of cash in your house... No law at all. |

Apc tried oo cos dem created jobs like Npower a 2years job What is expected of the participants after that 2years To become jobless again.. excuse me please, is that a job if you can read very well you will notice that it's across their African work force, not just Nigeria. |

SmartPolician: How can inflation be increasing when the demands for most things (commodities) have dropped significantly? People prioritize what they spend cash on.
By the way, it seems the wailers and the hailers have switched places because the supposed wailers are now the hailers, while the former hailers are now screaming to high heavens i don't know where this arm chair NBS gets its data from, less money in circulation is equal to deflation not inflation, as at now some commodities like grains, beef perishable goods prices have fallen, maybe when they come out with February data maybe that will reflect more on what is on ground. |

Wealthyonos: You fully don't understand the cashless policy. It doesn't really mean their will be no paper money, NO, that's not what it means. It means there will be paper money circulating, but not like before. It has already started. This is the best time for POS to make money sef. Just have a business that brings in cash like provision store, use your POS to deposit it into your own account....more money for them. Sho tigbo? are you in Nigeria at all? Most Pos operators have shut down, even mallams selling provisions have closed shops, no cash to operate, not that there won't be paper money in circulation but the volume has turned down drastically. |

Politics › Jobs That's Will Be Affected By Nigeria Cashless Policy by masseratti(op): 12:31pm On Feb 15, 2023 |
No:1 Bankers, alot of Nigerian bakers workers will be laid off, tellers marketers will be let go, this is because by the new policy, most things are now automated, less customers in the bank, more money in the bank, no need for the banks to employ marketers to open new accounts or market their products.
No 2:Police, the habit of collecting money from motorist or people seeking bail will take a nose dive.
No 3:transport union agents (agberos) unless they find a new mode of collecting money from the drivers, their daily collection will be grossly affected.
No 3:PoS agents: in my area before the deadline in a street we had nothing less than 7 Pos operators, now it's down to just one, she hardly have cash but still comes everyday to render other services.
No 4: billion bank vehicle operators :you might not know but there are some companies in Nigeria that operates bullion vehicles on behalf of the banks to transport cash around the country.. Thee business will be almost non existence.
No 5 Perishable food sellers: most of this are losing most of the goods due to low patronage currently.
Feel fee to add yours. |

Saving terabytes in a country where u have to ensure the center is constantly powered isn’t a good idea, I know this is an elephant project to milk us but if you are in IT, you will laugh over this sort of things… Even the US high and top secret data are stored in private clouds which is way cheaper and maintained by the vendors. Na wa ohhhhh please don't embarrass yourself online data centers are the places clouds data's are stored oga, plus it's the North ,they can use solar to power it for more stable supply of electricity. |

Most of us in APC was angered and some withdrew from APC when this happened. Mind you am not a kid since people believe that every one on this forum are kids ok |

Gozac: Tinubu can no longer hide the sabotage by strong elements in the north against his ambition. I was mad when Tinubu denied SE the chance of getting the Speaker HOR by imposing his political son Gbajabiamila. SE makes concessions for SW but SW can never do it, Rochas and Onu said it during the APC primaries. The greed and mutual hate in South is taking the power to north. Tinubu will have been a good president if he is young. you guys lie too much..name one high ranking member of apc from the south east in 2015..that was denied the position o speaker...or you think Yorubas have forgotten pDP chairmanship too...I also don't want tinibu but all of them to me are the same... |

FreeStuffsNG: “We, Badagry people are from Ile-Ife and settled at Quidah in Benin Republic, later the Ifa oracle directed us to return through Gberefu to our present location in Badagry. -High Chief Wawu Please stop saying what. You don't know,am from badagry and we are not from old ife,av never heard of high Chief wawu before,we are not a subset of Yoruba, nor are we from Ghana...we are Eguns or Ogu...a subset of fon people of West Africa..see.
O ma se o. You are really pained. Egun and Ogu are the same as much as Awori and Ogu are same Yoruba or Egbado and Yewa are the same today for semantics reason. Listing Egun and Ogu side by side does not mean they are different but your pain did not see that nowhere was it stated that they are different.
Even Wawu itself was not included and means that list is inconclusive and does not mean will not change in the future. High Chief Wawu is still alive and an authoritative custodian of the oral tradition and history of Badagry. Emeritus Prof Falola , an authority on history, has done extensive research too and published the works providing the authorities to support High Chief Wawu's account.
You can go and argue with Ifa if you are pained. The Yoruba Badagry can not be second class Yoruba in their own land because of few ignorant people who want to hold down Badagry like the ehinkule ile Yoruba.
But for this few ignorant people who do not know the place of Badagry in Yorubaland, Badagry should by now be like Eti Osa if not greater.
They are all Yoruba from Ile Ife. |
