IPOB/ESN needs to join Tantita and help their region and the country...they can then collect the funds and use it to build a new SE. Their current modus operandi is not helping anyone.
ogugwa1992: Oil production would have been down to 500k barrels per day if not for efforts of Tantita -Northern Coalition
Another stupid move by Assembly members...you have to believe these folks are disconnected from realities. Who cares about regional govts...you want turn by turn at each region leading to instabilities.
If they don't know what to focus on...let me help them
- Water Supply and Irrigation...declare a national emergency and create Local Govt Water Cooperations ... we don't need 100 boreholes in every community.
- Policy on Rentals - Protect Landlords/Tenants...Joint TownHall Meetings
- Extension of Wage Awards till December
- Privatization of Security infrastructures to include Drone Companies, Private armed response security systems ...both foreign and domestic.
You registered 2yrs after I did. You have close to 8000 posts ...6 times my number of posts..You have a lot of downtime lol. From some of them, you clearly have issues with intellectuals which explains a lot. When I say I have close your case...it means I won't answer those questions...Google is your friend.
CheapHomes1: but that still leaves the questions I asked you unanswered.
Mr Man, I thought you went to school and are not ignorant? pls which literature text book did you read and in which school did you attend that you were told that emoji is used to express sarcasm? is emoji part of literature?
1. how many years was Rome built?
2. is 25years and a day the same thing?
3. pls how many days is 25years that you feel people should not complain and desire for a better life as Nigerians?
4. I didnt ask you about Burna Boy. if Nigeria was so good, what are YOU doing in the US?
If you love the military, join and take over governance. Dictatorship is actually good in Africa cos we can be stubborn...the only issue ...African Dictators are not answerable to anyone so for everyone one good deed, you have many more bad deeds without accountability
bareal: To you, the sacamanje we hear now to raise your adrenaline without action is better. Most of the things we enjoy now were done by the military, only for the so called propenents of democracy bastardazing everything by the day. God shall judge them accordingly!!!
During Military Era, you will not even hear of it...abi was Abacha loots revealed during his regime...na who dem born him Papa or Mama lol. EFCC office would have been invaded and their Ogas carted away in broad daylight.
I have closed case with you. I know your type. Stay blessed and continue your life of sarcasm...lets hope it wont become sarcastical las las.
CheapHomes1: Mr Man, I thought you went to school and are not ignorant? pls which literature text book did you read and in which school did you attend that you were told that emoji is used to express sarcasm? is emoji part of literature?
my questions still remain which you have failed to answer.
1. how many years was Rome built?
2. is 25years and a day the same thing?
3. pls how many days is 25years that you feel people should not complain and desire for a better life as Nigerians?
4. I didnt ask you about Burna Boy. if Nigeria was so good, what are YOU doing in the US?
Used to take 7 hours from Lagos to Ibadan...Lies lies lies pants on fire. 8km ROAD...Oga o..He should go and learn from Gov Makinde in Ibadan...Ogun State...who cursed us with these Governors? Lagos had to go to Niger State to sign Food contract.
sarcasm is an expression that can be used with emoji to convey intent. Since there are so many ignorant people in this world, you are wrong to assume that everyone ought to see into your soul to determine you are being sarcastic. If you want to make jokes, do it appropriately else you might convey a deeper level of ignorance.
CheapHomes1: and part of the subject of literature where you got "idiomatic expression" from, there is also a word known as "sarcasm". am surprised that since you stayed in school, you have no idea what "sarcasm" is even when you see it.
my questions still remain which you have failed to answer.
1. how many years was Rome built?

How many very smart people entered into the Military? Most smart people chose to be Engineers, Accountants, Doctors...growing up, you will hardly hear anyone saying I want to be a soldier...so of course we have what we have...but the point still remains, who born who to touch the soldiers during the Military regime. Even Journalists will post stories and relocate lol. Dem born you to stay in the same office and discuss human rights lol. All these SERAP...I just laugh. See how much Abacha stole...who said pimm...being alive was the ultimate goal then haha.
Vinnie2000: You are Talking about Diehard, Semi-Illiterates Head of states like Buhari, Babangida and Sani Abacha.
In Yakubu Gowon's Military Regime, Human Rights abuse was minimal.
Its an idiomatic expression - wouldn't be easy for you to understand. That is why we ask everyone to please stay in school. US is good and yet US citizens travel and move out of the US. That moving is tantamount to the state of the country is why you are where you are. We draw causations and associations. BurnaBoy is over there buying cars I never dream of. You can speak success into your life...OR japa too. Did I stop you or your family?
If you lived through the Military Era, you would not even ask this question. Democracy might not be great, but at least it allows AriseNews the right to openly criticize the govt without consequences. I see people beating police and soldiers...dem no born your parents and the entire family to do that under the Military Govt. You will just go missing...even NUJ will remain mute. Who born who? So yes, lets celebrate our Democracy...ROME was not built in a day.
Efuaye: Twenty Five years of unbroken democracy, how has Nigerians fared?
I remember all the events that preceded May 29, 1999. There was excitement everywhere that at last the military was exiting the political stage in the annals of our history but today a lot of people will tell you that things are not in any way better, especially in these last few years!
The question is, Where were you and how old were you in 1999?
She looks like the type that won't listen to her husband lol --- just joking o ...some women can be stubborn --- true statement...some not all. I think the husband signed an apology letter, but she refused to sign it or was advised not to. Why can't she just come out and apologize? See the Kano Deputy Gov...he accused Ribadu wrongly, and when he was warned a lawsuit was coming, he came out and apologized.... case closed. This lady followed AriseNews...hope they will send her money for legal representation now
FreeStuffsNG: Recall that the CEO of Erisco Foods, Eric Omeofia, had alleged in 2023 that a negative product review by a customer, Chioma Egodi, negatively impacted his business when she claimed that the Nagiko Tomato Mix she bought had too much sugar.
Okoli’s lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, told the court that his client suffered miscarriage in the course of the case and eventually lost her baby.
Okoli is standing bordering on conspiracy and cyberstalking leveled against her.
O pari.
This erisco tomato paste matter should not have escalated to this extent in my opinion. The extent it has gone now is not helpful for an amicable resolution at all.
This is a lesson to everyone to be careful about the advice people give to you, especially if it's a legal opinion.
If you post a comment or say something the other party consider as offensive to his or her brand ,if your comment is a well-intentioned advice but ,unfortunately, taken wrongly, please just delete the comment(s), apologize to the one who took your feedback in a wrong way and move on with your life. If you're right, you will eventually be justified by posterity and one day the person who feels wronged today will credit you as the one who gave a truly sincere feedback yet you apologized for peace to reign. You become the bigger and more matured party eventually.
I will encourage her husband, family and lawyer to help her out of the current predicament. Let all the parties please explore amicable resolution options if it's not too late yet. It's good that she's being given the opportunity to defend herself so that justice can prevail.

Otti continued his political aspiration and joined the Labour Party in May 2022 after leaving the All Progressive Congress. He never really left. Labour Party was just a vehicle. He will turn ABIA to Tinubu nation in 2027 Lol. Upon joining the labour party, he contested for the post of the party flag bearer and was declared unopposed for the governorship election in 2022.[2][3]
NairaOcean: Children’s Day took an emotional turn when Governor Alex Otti broke down in tears during the event's match pass. His Excellency was deeply moved by the sight of deaf and mute children participating in the parade, a moment that left a profound impact on everyone present.
The celebration began with vibrant energy as children from various schools marched in the parade, showcasing their enthusiasm and spirit. Gov Otti, the guest of honor, was visibly delighted, as each group passed by. His presence added a special touch to the festivities, and his joy was contagious.
However, as the procession continued, a group of deaf and mute children also joined the march. Their determination and unity were evident as they communicated silently, yet powerfully, through their synchronized movements. This sight struck a deep chord with Gov Otti.
Overwhelmed by the resilience and courage of these children, Gov Otti’s demeanor shifted dramatically. Tears filled his eyes as he watched them march with pride and strength, despite the challenges they face daily.
We focus too much on the money...the salary she makes at CyperSecurity or Information Security can give her an above average life, but the money she will make in the movie industry in Nigeria will allow her to allow a whole different experience.
Let us compare the two
CyperSecurity/Information Security Movie Industry 1. You work for others 1. You are your own Boss (at her level) 2. You answer to a Boss 2. People answer to you 3. You are just another staff in the office 3. You are a big time celebrity 4. You have specific leave and will need approval 4. You create your own schedule around your movies 5. Abroad is a leveler... 5. You rock with the who is who every weekend 6. Too busy paying bills 6. You can get into politics or even get Fed contracts 7. You work 12 months to pay bills 7. With a house already, 2 - 3 movies a year is enough 8. Might be a contract worker without stability 8. Experience will guarantee movies & television series 9. Always at the risk of being fired if something messes up 9. No fear based on her status 10. Everyone is too busy and you can only hand out on weekends 10. Movie set is fun and you can hang out all week long
So there are so many benefits to leaving US to return to Nigeria...she can use some of her funds to produce her own movies or even sign contracts with NetFlix. So much money in the entertainment industries in Nigeria now...even on Youtube, appearance fees for events and so on...you would not get these perks in the US...its work work work work work....till you drop dead dead dead. She is smart to make the change now. She can even hire a chef, eat good Naija food and have a full time maid...luxuries not easily affordable in the USA.
DyshApp: Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has shared her reasons for taking a break from acting and why she decided to return to screens.
The actress, who is currently back, had an interview with Nigerian Tribune sharing some vital information on her return to Nollywood.
Bukky Wright clarified that she had to quit the film business in order to take better care for her kids.
The actress went on to say that she started working as a cyber security expert during her time after she took a break from Nollywood. [b]
Yes he is APC, with roots in Lagos...and guess what, he is turning Abia into another Lagos. We will let LP claim the credit...but Alex Otti is APC true and true.
Thundafireseun: Trust any Nigerian Politician at your own peril….
A lot of people still don’t know this man was a strong APC MEMBER

God1000: Nollywood Actress, Regina Daniels And Her Billionaire Husband, Ned Nwoko Celebrate 5th Marriage Anniversary
UI Academic Staff went on strike in 2001. I was home for 9 months. It was at the same time that I got my visa as well. The same week UI resumed was the same week I traveled out to start my schooling abroad. I can relate with you. I did not meet the first cut off and stayed home to study...only to get admitted as number 2 for my department. Number 1 was 1 point above in JAMB score. Then Strike came..without the strike, I would have started my course and forgotten about traveling out. All things work together for good to them that love God - Romans 8:38. I was OK with staying or leaving either way...All I always say, God, let your will be done.
opamoses1: ASUU always going on strike. I spent two years at home during Obasanjo Era due to ASUU strike. My 4 year course turned to 6 years.
Interestingly, it was a blessing in disguise. When I applied for Canadian PR not long after graduation, there was no WES back then. The Canadian immigration officials just counted my 4 years course as 6 years, and I was given lots of points for education that pushed me over the immigration cut-off mark of 67.
Now, you ask valid questions...let me answer them one by one...I am not a military spokesman but I can educate you.
1. You stop commercial activities because it is a crime scene. An assault on an officer or officers require proper investigations, and you cannot compromise the location by allowing business to continue. 2. Soldiers continue to lay siege on the bandits, and though I know some of you cannot read, some were recently rescued from Sambisa Forest, a place you or those like you would not dare enter. 3. What did they achieve with the siege...the Management of the complex is in conversation with those that use the complex, and so a resolution might have been reached that the perpetrators will be handed over to the relevant authorities which happens in all law enforcement approaches. Sometimes, the local police take over ... after the Federal Police clears the scene.
Now you have been educated a bit, but I do not expect this to change how you reason. It is really just for others to learn. May God bless our soldiers, and may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria
lexy2014: What is gallant about laying siege to a shopping complex and preventing people from going about their lawful business at the complex?
Why can't the soldiers lay siege to the enclave if bandits the way they did Okuama and this complex?
So the action of one person can be generalized ...you are the coward. Let me see you join your local vigilante group and confront common criminals or agberos or street thugs. People like you will be the first to run away. Shame Shame Shame. You should be ashamed of yourself denigrating our service men and women.
We already know those that will pee on themselves and even do more when confronted by bandits. Common thieves in the community, they will be sounding like church mouse...shiii shiii they are here, the thieves are here...but online, they can talk about our gallant soldiers. It is a shame...then again, nothing shocks me anymore.
I just want the Govt to provide platforms for individuals and companies to honor our wounded soldiers and those that have passed, so we can celebrate their widows and children. God bless our soldiers, God bless the Commander in Chief and may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
qtx: You mind them?, its easy for them to criticize, come join soldier na, they say god forbid. yet no respect for those who say god no forbid. Na soldiers no know wetin to do them that day, them for start to the drop anyone on site they met there maybe civilians for learn say soldiers are the pride of any nation that should not be toyed with.
Glimpsetv: In what can be described as a dramatic scene, people were confused as a lady decided to take over the dance floor, keeping the groom to herself. Despite all efforts to allow the groom to dance with his bride, the lady vehemently refused and continued dancing with the groom. The bride, who appeared to be a very calm person, was dancing and smiling alone by herself, seeing that another lady had completely taken possession of her man even on their big day.
The question is, if you were this bride, what would you do? Would you be this calm?
Feel free to let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
become chickens...you are the chicken typing nonsense about our gallant soldiers from the comfort of your house. Why don't you join the military, carry guns, and go after the terrorists? Show them how it is done...but you won't because you are a coward. We have soldiers that have died or injured, and some of their wives are widows and children orphans...and here you are typing nonsense.
Hmm, Peter Obi is already talking of a merger, so he wants to take some LP back to PDP. I guess Labour will fight this and may end up aligning with APC. I cannot wait to see how all these will pan out.
You still don't understand how this business thing works...Minimum wage goes up, traders increase price of goods...you keep rent the same but you will still need to buy the same thing from those traders...tenants damage the properties...cost of renovation used to be N40k with caution N45k...now the same damages will cost N100k..will tenants pay more caution, no...so you increase price a bit to prepare for situations...it's everywhere all over the world. They don't even announce it here
triplechoice: Prices of goods of services will never remain constant anywhere in the world. It will either rise or come down, and minimum wage is not the only thing responsible for that.
And besides, Nigeria situation is completely different. Only about 5 percent will benefit from it, not enough to result in too much money entering the system ,and so , if you choose to increase your house rent, especially when your tenants aren't going to benefit from minimum wage, then I'm afraid you're just being inconsiderate to them ,and acting like a typical Nigerian who derive pleasure from exploiting others around you and don't care at all.
Do you know that some traders in this country have been arbitrarily increasing the prices of their goods in the market everyday when they don't need to just because, according to them, others are also increasing theirs?
And that's still going as I type this. Some of them have even come together to form market union to fix prices of commodities they sell far above normal with the government not doing anything about it ?
In Nigeria, you get hyperinflation just with dollars going up on commodities that have nothing to do with dollars. You started well by saying Nigeria is an odd situation. While your Stat about the percentage might be right vis a vis the number that will benefit...if you are a Nigerian, you can't tell me that the traders and artisans would keep price of services constant. If you say so, you haven't been living in Nigeria. Even the rents my Tenants pay will go up once minimum wage goes up because materials to repair things will automatically go up in a country where there ain't enforcement or checks and balances...go and listen to what the SDP candidate for President said and come back.
triplechoice: You have been committing what's called statistical fallacy by using data from another country, America, to assert falsely or forecast inaccurately ,that if minimum wage is increased in Nigeria it will lead to disastrous consequences for the economy that's already depressed and plagued by inflation due to the actions taken by the federal government.
In Nigeria ,the situation is completely different. In fact, it's an abnormal one,no thanks to those who came up with the minimum wage act in this country. They didn't do the proper thing. Labour and other stake holders have been crying for years for an amendment of the law to include more workers .If the right thing was done more workers would have been enjoying minimum wage in Nigeria and your fears of hyperinflation would be justified.
There's a reason why it's said that Nigeria economic challenges defies economics solutions, and I just gave you an example of why it's so. We do things abnormally in this country and that's why we not making much progress. Your president removed subsidy and floated the naira without adequate plans in place beforehand to cushion the effect ,and now, everyone is affected in one way or the other.
Unlike in America and other places in the world where' minimum wage is paid ,it's only about 5 percent here in this country that will receive the minimum wage once it's passed into law .
That's why each time it's reviewed upwards, it's just like a drop in the ocean. The impact on the economy is hardly felt. It doesn't ever result to too much money entering the economy. In South Africa ,for instance, about 60 percent receives minimum wage. . America is much more than 60 percent .Compare those figures to Nigeria ,which is about 5 percent, and ask yourself if you have been making sense.
If you want to make sense, stop using America or any country where minimum wage is enjoyed by significant number of workers to forecast hyperinflation.
You're not wrong to say minimum wage will result to much more money entering the system. But that's only in theory. In real life it's not always the case, especially in abnormal Nigeria.
Focus on Nigeria and explain, using accurate data ,how it will result to hyperinflation and not inflation. Inflation is not a bad thing. It's normal occurrence in everywhere country of the world. Prices of goods and services will continue to rise based on the forces of demand and supply and that's very normal.
Hyperinflation is the only thing we should fear, and there's nothing to suggest that will happen here in Nigeria if minimum wage is increased for less than 5 percent of the working force.
If not for the Internet ,most Nigerians are hardly ever aware when there's an increase in minimum wage due to the number of workers to receive it,or they don't bother since they know it's mostly those in the public sector that benefits the more.
If you reply with your America comparison again, then don't expect any further response from me. It will prove to me you don't take time to read what you're replying to ,but only interested in regurgitating what you read from an economics textbook which you're misapplying.
Mr. Simple Language...you should stick to the information without making it personal. You crossed that line, and you must be open to whatever response you get. You should read about minimum wages in cities and its effect on prices. It is simple economics. An increase in the supply of money will increase the demand for produce...if supply does not keep up with demand, it will drive up prices. Study Laws of Elasticity of Demand and Supply.
Case study - New York and Washington DC....compare that with the minimum wages of Idaho Lagos and Abuja ...compare that with the cost of items in the North...I know you will say minimum wage is all the same in Nigeria...focus on the supply of money and its effect on the prices of goods and services.
triplechoice: Educate yourself first before trying to educate others. And how did you " debunked" my messages? Show me one instance of that if you can.
You can't even prove your point with specific instances either in Nigeria or elsewhere where minimum wage increase for less than 5 percent of a country's population has led to hyperinflation.
Moreover you're yet to realize that the figures given by labour, 500k is for negotiations purposes
The only thing you know and very good at is using swear words and name calling. And you're not even coherent. You struggle to express yourself in simple English language.
Thank you....just shocked by the solutions here on this website. We are in trouble in NiGERIA. Simple add like terms and simply simple radical, divide and square.
