So I used to think loans and borrowing were terrible...then I read books Rich people read and learned certain things.. 1. Save liquid cash if needed and don't burn it 2. Use borrowed cash to invest and make more than the interests. You grow faster that way than using your capital. 3. Safeguard your assets so when you die, some of the loans may even die with you and you pass on generational assets. Now in terms of Nigeria and World Bank...if we are projected to grow at 3.3% and the interest is 1%...if this can be channeled to expand crude oil output and harden or build massive infrastructures like the Coastal road...that can be used to export refined products from PH refinery, we will make enough to pay off these loans...even at that we shouldn't pay them off at this low interest...we should keep out cash for times like Covid when lending might be impossible. adenigga: |
Come to think of it...will State Police and LG Police be under NLC? NLC us defacto Labour Party so if the Police are going to be NLC members...the Labour Party can control the Police and use them against other parties if they decide to call their strike actions and activate all members...just a thought adenigga: |
and you come to insult...showing your lack of character, a fruit not of the spirit. So let me lecture you...Jesus said it was said an eye for an eye...and then preached against it. So you can follow the Old Testaments before Christ or follow the teachings of Christ and redemption..the choice is yours but don't call yourself a Christian If you are not Christ-centric...just pray to the one that guides your dark heart. I, on the other hand, will pray that you will find the truth and the truth will set you free. I will also give you one more example of Jesus Teachings...Love your enemies because if you only love those who love you, how different are you from non-believers? Dust your Bible...it has gathered dust too long. Happy Sunday RecentHistory: |
Never heard of her sha...Don Moen though na childhood legend and a Naija SuperStar. We should have made him a Naija citizen already lol OLAADEGBU: |

Lol she is trying too hard to cross-carpet ...you can put a lipstick on a pig...it's still a pig. Waiting to see her speak forcefully against IPOB and ESN ...haha Mushmush: |
Did you read the article...if poor people benefit 25% and rich 75%, you will increasingly create more poor people and few super rich. Removing subsidy and targeting it to poorest of the poor is the key. That is how it's done in the West...even though the super Rich still know how to game the system using loopholes created by their politician friends that pass laws on taxation to benefit the Rich. nedu666: |
Lots of white people are stupid and ignorant...they just think they are smart...you will be shocked when they speak or when you speak to them lol brain54: |
if they are in the US, they won't be alive to tell the tale. If the Police put up a barricade and you drive past it, you put them in danger, and they can shoot in self-defense. I hope they survive...your friends shouldn't travel at night, evade barricades, and claim they were in a hurry. As a police officer, I would think they are either kidnappers, robbers, or ESN and would have assumed they must be harmed. Prechgold1180: |
I will like to know if he went to public secondary school. Some of these folks claiming they cant afford N300k higher institution bills paid much more for secondary schools. We have to be realistic...education is not cheap. If you must go, you must be ready to finish in 4yrs with a degree that can make sense. Apply for Govt loans if you believe in yourself and cannot afford the amount. God1000: |
so you think Chief Priest is poor?.He just said he is Rich..so your statement is not grounded in reality Igume: |

Lol I did not know that advising you is tantamount to trying to be smart...You can always tipex the most sensitive information, which is what people do all the time. If you think i do not know much about user's privacy and sensitive information, I hear you lol. Just trying to help you sell your market given that the amount N250k is not something someone will send easily without guarantees. All the BEST You mean upload recipets of clients which contains their sensitive info like names, address and phone numbers to the open Internet? Shows how much you know about users privacy and you are trying hard to sound intelligent. People that are interested know the channel to start the conversation and the availability of escrow option which I mentioned above. Your above post clearly shows how much you know about commerce, rest.
|

Tough situation - If you fire her, she might go crazy and report you to your wife and Boss...beware of a woman's scorn. If you keep her on the job, she will continue to disrespect you. Possible solution - Ask her out again and discuss this issue. If she rejects being asked out or if she does and does not change....then she always wanted to disrespect you... Now, you will have to do the harder task...talk to your Boss about what transpired that you are wrong for betraying the trust in you and Pastor, so he can call a meeting between you and wife to break the issues down...and seek forgiveness...then fire her. That way, you are already proactive against what she will do in advance. If you don't care for your marriage, then just fire her. When she goes crazy, you won't care cos crazy she will. quote author=Freshtruth post=129452449]I am the Manager of a Hotel. There is this waitress that is also working at the hotel, very respectful and loyal. All the workers in the hotel respect me to the bone. Until the same waitress keep hailing me when ever she come to my office she will say may may u are a very handsome guy o. During my off day I called her to a bar in my area cause that was her off day too. I bought her barbeque and holandia yourgut. We lodge an hotel room and she satisfy me well. The next morning I told her we won't do this again that is wrong because am a married man she said no problem, since then this girl has been disrespecting me, she embarrass me in front of the supervisors. My supervisor got angry and told me to sack her or report her to the owner of the hotel. I told them I will handle the issue. Pls advise me what to do pls.
|
Baba Folawiyo - made him Director for life Baba Folawiyo Baba Adini of Nigeria, a chieftaincy title[8] Grand Patron of Nigerian Muslim Council Chairman, Executive Council of the Lagos Central Mosque Honorary Fellow, Chartered Institute of Transport Fellow of the Commonwealth Journalists Association Chairman, Maize Association of Nigeria and Patron Institute of Freight Forwarders of Nigeria Order of Federal Republic, OFR, conferred on him in 1982 Commander of the Order of the Niger, CON, on 16 November 2000. - 150 hectares in Lagos is still a lot lot lot of land...I am curious if he was allocated some during his Permanent Secretary years.....Lagos is a small state. “I was for 16 years in the service of the Lagos State government and rose to the position of a permanent secretary and served in various ministries and offices during the tenure of Alhaji Lateef Jakande. People can bear witness to what the administration achieved in a little over four years. ” When the military came in 1984, and they started the probe of the administration and were after some people they felt were close to Baba Jakande, I left at the age of 40 and Baba Folawiyo took me as a director. What I learned from him as an entrepreneur, cannot be quantified. With the virtue of selflessness gained from Baba Jakande and the spirit of philanthropy from Baba Folawiyo, I applied myself to the task that I didn’t know that Chief Folawiyo wrote in his will that they should make me a director in his company for life,” he said. |
I am not an indomie generation and asking questions is not the same as condemning him. What I was expecting from you is a detailed explanation on how he acquired the lands during ... and ... while he was in the private sector. There is no doubt that govt officials have siphoned the resources of states and country, so asking question is definitely legit in this climate. I will go and read up on it...if I find anything that can justify his source of wealth, I will point it out. FreeStuffsNG: |
How did a Permanent Secretary amass so much land and wealth? FreeStuffsNG: |
Smart man...some of us invested in Ibadan because we know workers will have to shuttle from Lagos to Ibadan in the near future...Lagos cannot accommodate all the people that it will need to sustain all these economic activities. I feel bad for those that have not started investing...some lands in the village will not be available when they want to start investing lol. Kenochi: |
This is why everyone wanted to be the President...we save on forex, export to other countries, refine our petroleum, and sell petroleum products...we use byproducts to construct roads...we focus on agriculture..., and we build the Nigeria of our dreams. This is the HOPE they all wanted, but this moment is for God, Nigeria, President Tinubu, and us all. Ahmed4002: |
Some tenants are horrible and though you might think you are doing them a favor...if in the future your children want to renovate the house, the tenants might give them a hard hard time. Help people but do not teach them to be lazy or complacent. It does not always end well...they become ingrate (feels entitled) and take things for granted. You will hear...even your Papa did not chase me out lol Boogyman557: |
