Condemnation is not part of their job description. They should pass enabling laws that will criminalize such action and meet out stiff penalties to offenders to serve as deterrence. That is what tax payers expects of them. |
Will it change a thing? Ours is a morally bankrupt society that will only produce like results however the sophistication by way of education. Until we get leaders with the love of nation at heart, the education we desire in them will only make them to be sleek in their sleaze. Our leaders have always had the Harvard, Yale and Cambridge trained economists at their disposal as SAs and SSAs but has it changed our economic fortunes? |
Moderation should be their key word. That aide was overzealous and high handed. Davido will need to make a public statement on this imbroglio |
That was uncalled for really. The guy wasn't even expecting the "sucker punch" His demeanor posed no harm to Davido from the short clip seen. |
The service chiefs observing the same ritual for the umpteenth time. They will promise the lawmakers everything but premise their performance on funding. Then a new marching order will be received which will caput on the altar of mediocrity, inefficiency and outright incompetence. Then the cycle will repeat itself but this time with the C-in-C issuing a fresh marching order. |
Imo is in the news again for all the wrong reasons. Why the recent upsurge in assassinations? I thought politics is done with and "the supreme Court governor" has been pacified with a second term. |
Thanks for the post. Had similar experience some months back and had to replace the cylinder valve first but condition persisted. Next I changed the regulator using different Chinese make unit the owner of the plant where I fill my gas recommended a German variant and there ended my nightmare. I had to instantly buy 2 more to safe keeping in case I can't get that product anymore. Keeping gas cylinder in the kitchen is a risky venture. I had my mason built a shade outside the kitchen wall and the gas is piped from there. That way, the fear of a gas explosion from leaks is mitigated. |
Konquest:Agreed, I may have wrongly interpreted miss to be abbreviated as Ms. However the context of the post was her unmarried status which both appellation represents and which is still germane to the discuss. Why career women are single either from divorce or failure to tie the nuptial knot? |
They want to key into our lucrative election petition matters. Our lawyers should resist this move with every legal means possible or They should reciprocate such gesture and allow Nigerian trained lawyers practice in their jurisdiction ad libitum. Thieves!! |
Long expected. If erring banks, print and electronic media and telecom companies are heavily levied for running foul of enabling laws, the Discos do not merit any special favours. A decade after unbundling the distribution aspect of the nation's power industry, these charlatans are still giving cock and bull stories why they are still unable to meter all power consumers despite heavy bailout funds expended on them. Communities are still funding the procurement or repairs of their transformers with the tacit approval of DISCOs whose responsibility it is for such. Isn't it disgraceful? |
Karlifate:The post reference her as miss (Ms.) Access Holdings Plc on Monday announced the appointment of Ms. Bolaji Agbede as the Acting Group Chief Executive Officer. |
These ''gods of men'' have wrecked more homes than can be enumerated in this country. I wonder why we spend so much to acquire western education only to succumb to some low life whose worth to society is their acclaimed and unverifiable call by God. Isn't it curious that once we leave the shores of Africa, all our spiritual "wahala" seem to vanish with the distance from the mother land? |
Who is bankrolling this writer? His jaundiced perspective has failed once more to see the link between the conflict on the plateau with the skirmishes in southern kaduna, the Benue valley and other resource rich areas of the country. Isolating the Plateau crisis as a stand alone conflict would be shying away from the truth of which LAND GRABBING is chief. |
Woman are beginning to make in-road to the top of most Nigeria banks and financial institutions. What I find baffling though is their inability to replicate such success at the home front as most are prefixed by the letters "Ms. ''. Is that the new yard stick for becoming a bank CEO for women? |
Bravo!! Women are gradually taking pole positions in the banking sector of the country. Coincidentally, she is also single. Is there something synonymous with career women and being single? |
Correctional farm settlement? Which one is this again? |
I second the first comment. ''E dey do me like make I tear am better slap''. I believe senility is distorting the better part of his life right now. |

If the Complaints Managers are complaining, where do we go ? |
This is double jeopardy. He lost his rifle and we loose the match. |
This was a political assassination and not kidnapping. His abroad based doctor brother was let go while he was killed speaks volumes. |
The agony of his troubles is that we also lost the trophy. For him, this is "double jeopardy" Oga mopol has been under the surveillance of some miscreants who took advantage of him "loose guarding" during our ill-fated finals to "do him strong thing" |
The last time, we were informed that it's the quality control regulators that are yet to clear the jet A1 fuel and diesel produced for delivery into the market . Does it take eternity for a product to meet regulators specifications? |
Justice grinds slowly |
This is a tragedy to the sports world. At 24, this guy had decades of running and record to set ahead of him. He will be sorely missed. |
Death is an inevitable debt we all owe this world. All our struggles and toiling will one day have to be handed over to another to take up from where we stopped. |
It's a disaster the family will find hard to recover from. May God comfort them. |
With the volatile nature of our economy, planning is difficult if not outright impossible. Every delay in the execution of a project sets you back by thousands if not millions of naira. I now count my blessings one by one. No longer having vision for a bumper tomorrow. My new slogan is; sufficient onto the day is the evil thereof. |
This in my opinion is a misplaced priority at this time. The "nest of champions", just a stone throw away in Uyo only comes alive during political campaigns and rallys. |
This man fall my hand big time! I wonder what happened to the Muslim -Muslim ticket that made him leave APC on the first place . With his recent romance with Asiwaju, we can conclude that his conscience has been seared with the lust for power. |
