When a magnet attracts a metal lighter than it, the metal will remain bound to it. But when a magnet seeks to attract metal heavier than it, the magnet will be the one to move towards the metal, and when a larger magnet comes in, the metal moves towards the larger magnet.

My point is, the real reason you're yet to get a commitment may be the type of ladies you seek. You seek out ladies who aren't really into you. Why not try less sophisticated ladies?!.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Why 'Carrying Placards In Search Of Jobs' Is Wrong by matrix199(m):
Now why would a full baked graduate carry a placard, standing at a roadside like women of easy virtue do, in search of job? It doesn't tell good of him. It only shows frustration, desperation, and depicts zero entrepreneurial tendency.

Now why would sensible employers pay attention to such a low wit idea? Why not invite every qualified job seeker to an assessment and employ the ones with true ingenuity, rather than pay attention to some placard carrying un-innovative job seekers?!

With all due respect, I think Tony Elumelue, and VP Osinbanjo, are not helping matters by paying attention to these placard carriers. There are over a hundred thousand job seekers out there who are likely more qualified than these placard carriers. Attention should be paid to all, and not to one, or two.

....Create jobs for all, not job for one!

Who appointed this dunce as the minister of information? Obviously this man doesn't have ideas or the appropriate dictions in his head when he talks.

Buhari should reshuffle his cabinet and redeploy this man to the ministry of interior, where he would get to talk less publicly.

Hmmm.....good stuff bro. Nice effort. Actually, what I was looking for was a restructuring of the Venn diagram. The first pic was wrong because all the individuals i.e. gun owners or not are Americans. As such, they should all be in a big circle, with smaller circles within representing gun owners and those who support gun control. See what I'm talking about in this pic. But for sure, your calculations make sense. I'd PM you right away to fulfill my promise wink
There was no way I cld express it pictorially. My BB isn't as smart as an android.

Correct your header.

It should be.......Why are black storage tanks preferably used at homes.

Back to the question. Well, it's obvious why black tanks are preferable. Black tanks do not illuminate. The base of the tank is dark and that doesn't encourage the growth of algae which is responsible for the green coloration in water.

Visually, the blue section wld be Americans who do not own a gun.
The yellow section wld be every gun owner in America.
While the intersection wld be every American who owns a gun.

Set A = Americans who do not own a gun(90-73=17%)
Set B = gun owners in America(83-73=10%)
Intersection = Americans who own guns(73%)

Education › Re: Venn Diagram Question by matrix199(m):
A venn diagram with an intersection will have 3 variables, set of A, set of B, and set of "A n B", where n is an intersection, with a percentage assigned to the intersection.

Here's the maths.....

Let's call the blue section set A
Let's call the yellow section set B
Let's call the intersection 'x'

... Set A= 90-x
....Set B= 83-x
....Intersection= x

90-x% + x% + 83-x% = 100%
173 - x = 100
x = 173-100
x = 73%

The intersection should be assigned 73%.

The venn diagram has no percentage assigned to the intersection. That's what's wrong with it.

I stand to be corrected. I'm not mathematically inclined because of my field.

Politics › Re: Osibanjo Meets With Lady Who Carried ''I Need A Job' Placard (photo) by matrix199(m): 4:51am On May 28, 2016
Any unemployed graduate can carry placard in search of a job. It doesn't necessarily deserve the attention being paid to it, the attention the two ladies who carried the placards are receiving.

Why invite a placard carrying job seeker to a talk, when there are 'think outside the box' unemployed graduates who are involved in self-sustenance like the case of a graduate who fries akara with gas cooker in Jos Plateau state. The "think outside the box" and "the self-reliance" graduates are the ones who deserve the invite, not these easy way job seekers who probably don't have much to offer employers, since they cldn't offer themselves ideas on how to become self-reliance.

You try to make it seem like the spanish have more than enough tomato to waste everyday.

Well, tomato scarcity in Nigeria is due to the strange pests that destroy tomato plants on the farmland. I'm sure the Institute of agricultural research is working on getting a solution to the tomato plant infestation.
