The pastor will go home with the tithes, give his wife some proceeds from the tithe so she can fix a sumptuous vegetable soup with beef, shrimps, dried fish, stock fish, with pounded yam to mole it down, appear the next Sunday in a very expensive suit. While most of the members will go home to prepare rice and kpomo stew, and appear in washed shirts and trousers the next Sunday.

They won't think for themselves, they won't learn, that's the painful part!

I also had burning and disturbing desire to save people from hell. It started with if I dont preach, I'm guilty if they go to hell.

I soon overcame that after overcoming fear of God and me burning in hell.
Next, I overcame the fear of people going to hell in th r first place. This came about by meditating on the life of Jesus. As powerful as he was he didnt levitate to the hinderlands of africa to preach the gospel with urgency.

I'm still very much a jesus beliver with a desire to spread the gospel. However, I realise that my initial belifs were built on extremely faulty and illogical foundations. I continue my walk with God, peeling off lots of error that were thaught to me by christian tradition, some of which are as old as christianity itself.

The two events in the bible that got me thinking were....



1. Uzzah, who tried to hold the ark of the covenant that got tripped when it was being hauled to a destination. The guy was struck dead. Talk about punishing someone for being helpful!



2. The first son of berthsheba, the woman David killed her husband in order to marry her. What was the crime of the boy that he had to be killed by God?


These and a whole lot more got me thinking. I mean, if I was the most powerful man in Nigeria, I'll obliterate my enemies at a blink of an eye. I wonder why God had to allow these so called small gods to strive?

The soul is that learning part of the brain. Once a man dies, he goes into an unconscious state forever, while his body recycles back to the nutrient of life. Same unconscious state we temporarily fall when we sleep(without dreams).

Let me create an imagination where I'm the father of 10 children. I watch them all through the CCTV and can communicate with them through a phone. They call me every now and then to talk to me and make requests. Now I'm watching the children I claim I love so much when suddenly danger lurks around them. I quickly pick up the phone to communicate with my beloved children of the danger that lingers and instruct them on what to do to avert the danger.



So, does it mean God can hear us but we can't hear him? If we truly can hear him, why then did four kids accidently lock themselves in a car and got suffocated when God can notify their parents of the imminent danger so they can quickly rescue the kids?


A head that thinks straight wld know something isn't right with the belief.

I have a friend who ended up mad. She ran away in her final year and began preaching up and down on the road. Went totally crazy for about a year we could not find the poor lady.

Na so one of my neighbours who is a christian fanatic, the man go dey pray everyday from 4am to 9am, then 9pm to 12pm every damn day. At first I cut cap for the man say the man fit dey pray this long consistently, but I got the shocker one day. This man begin pursue him wife with cutlass say he go kill her, say where she get money wey she use take buy brand new car. Na so I begin laff. Shey no be u dey pray for success and prosperity for ur family eh? Now money don show for ur wife, but not u, u begin reason say ur wife dey sleep with rich men dey make money. I laff tire.

The man don end up with mental problem. He has been confined to a psychiatric hospital.

Most African ladies' mentality is terrible. Materialism runs in their blood, except for a few who has the pride of a real woman.


I had a date with a NLer a time ago. We met somewhere on the Island. When I met her, she appeared as a tushed lady who was well fed at home, so I didn't assume she was one of those 'I never chop' kind of ladies. We talked and we had fun. When it was time for her to head home, I saw her off to the b/stop where she wld board a tricycle to where she'll get a bus heading to Ajah. she boarded, I waved, and the trike* wheeled off.



Later that night, I tried chatting her up on BBM, but she wasn't responding. Later I called her, only for her to express her disappointment that I didn't give her tfare. She said she told her mother about it, that her mother said maybe I don't have cash with me. I was dumbfounded, didn't knw what to say. I was with 25k cash, plus my two ATM cards, but just felt she may feel insulted if I brought out 3k or 4k to offer her as tfare, because she was dressed expensively. I explained to her that I misjudged her presentation. I felt she was financially comfortable enough, thus no need to take the initiative of offering her tfare. Besides, if she didn't have tfare, why didn't she tel me. She didn't say anything.

Well, like they say, u have the good, the bad, and the hungry in disguise!
