Did the apostle had laid down rules or they kept teaching and admonishing each other?
Where in the Bible did you read apostolic commandments? Show me how many times it appeared in the Bible?
Even Paul and Barnabas had to spilt up because of minor disagreement.
The Apostles in Jerusalem set the rules and all Christians in the first century were following the rules set by the Apostles! Act 2:42; 15:28-29
Paul and Barnabas disagree not on teaching but regarding Mark whether to take him along on their missionary journey! Act 15:37-39

Shifting the goal post again. You just agreed they had differences but you just want to shift the goal post again. But I’ll follow you. They had disagreements on baptism, circumcision and even Jewish and gentile practices. So they had to disagree a lot of times without resulting to pointing of fingers.
One was bold and the other wasn’t bold enough. Is that the same line of thoughts??
Did the Apostles gave them laid down rules regarding the highlighted and they disagreed?
Christianity Etc › Re: When Did The Kingdom Of God Come? by MaxInDHouse(m): 10:52am On Dec 07, 2025
You can continue deceiving yourself.

There was no disagreement among first century disciples of Christ because they all subjected themselves to the teachings of the Apostles in Jerusalem! Act 2:42

SpencerForbes:
Let me put this debate to rest
Another major disagreement among the apostles and early disciples after Pentecost was at the Jerusalem Council (Acts 15).

The conflict was whether Gentile (non-Jewish) converts had to be circumcised and obey the Mosaic Law to be saved and accepted into the Christian Church. Certain Jewish Christians insisted Gentiles must be circumcised, but Paul and Barnabas strongly disagreed, arguing that salvation came through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

After hearing testimony from Peter and others, the leaders, primarily James, ruled that Gentiles did not need to be circumcised. However, to promote harmony between Jewish and Gentile believers, they requested that Gentiles voluntarily abstain from a few practices that were offensive to Jews, such as eating food offered to idols or blood. This decision affirmed that Christianity was a universal faith based on grace, not adherence to the Jewish Law.

So you see they also had differences on circumcision. They had to disagree to agree without insults or name calling.

You said they never had any disagreements and I pointed a scenario. You then shifted the goal post that it was correction, has there ever been correction without mistake or error? I agreed and pointed out it wasn’t differences but fear of men. And even if I write the text formally here, you’ll still shift the goalpost.

Why are Christians of this day like this🤷‍♂️
Both of them never had any difference in BELIEFS like what you people practice today. Real Christians have the same line of thought globally {1Corinthans 1:10} because they must be One in the spirit {John 17:22} that's the point i'm making!
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Christians Should Not Be Scared Of WITCHES by MaxInDHouse(m): 10:46am On Dec 07, 2025
Witchcraft is what people practice as a way to protect and avenge themselves if they need power to do so.

Christ taught his disciples never to think of avenging themselves rather they are to forgive and pray for those maltreating them! Matthew 5:43-48

So when we come in contact with a witch the Good News of God's Kingdom will help them see what God will do to evildoers who made them feel really bad to the point of seeking powers from demons to avenge themselves! Psalms 37:6-11
Christianity Etc › Re: When Did The Kingdom Of God Come? by MaxInDHouse(m): 10:35am On Dec 07, 2025
SpencerForbes:
Yeah but they had differences right?? That’s the point. They had their differences but didn’t let it get the better of them.
They never had any difference!

Peter allowed the fear of men to catch him unaware {Proverbs 29:25} Jesus had warned his disciples against the fear of men {Matthew 10:28} so when Paul took the courage to rebuke him Peter accepted and later commended Paul for his courage:

Furthermore, consider the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote you according to the wisdom given him. 2Peter 3:15

So there was no difference between the first century disciples of Christ stop deceiving yourself with false reasoning.
What the churches of Christendom are doing today is IDOLATRY that's where they can teach different things yet claiming they belong to the same God!🤔

The famous argument between Peter and Paul.
Peter never argued with Paul!
As he did in the past the fear of Jewish Christians is what made him separated himself from gentile Christians and Paul rebuked him publicly.
It's like Peter did something wrong and Paul corrected him.
It was never an argument!

SpencerForbes:
Knowledge is a step-by-step journey. Just like a younger student isn't a "dullard," a fellow Christian with a different understanding is not an enemy.
There is no contradictions among Jesus' first century disciples, though they had arguments among them before Jesus' death but after his prayers for them to have the same line of thought {John 17:22} and anointing of God's Holy Spirit at Pentecost {Act 2:14} all Christians in the first century were unitedly obedient to the teachings of the Apostles! Act 2:42

SpencerForbes:
The Apostles debated. They were divided. But they didn't resort to name-calling or spiritual arrogance.
The Apostles had arguments before they were anointed by the holy spirit but after they got baptized by the spirit they all have the same line of thought! 1Corinthans 1:10; 1Peter 3:8
So they never welcome anyone who will not agree with their understanding of the scriptures! Romans 16:17; Titus 3:10; 2John 10-11

SpencerForbes:
Why is it that today, disagreement instantly makes someone an "advocate of Satan?" This is not the Christian way.
If we keep condemning everyone who differs, we lose our moral distinction. Correction must be founded in love.
True Christians have one organization just as in the first century and God has given us another GROUP NAME that is unique today! Isaiah 65:15
So the contradictions in teachings and conflicting in doctrines today is the work of Satan therefore those contradicting themselves in teachings are not Christians!

You failed as usual!

Here is the question again:

MaxInDHouse:
Where did God promise humans a heavenly life?
Quote where God promised humans heavenly life not where Jesus is talking to his prospective corulers where he prepared for them to rule with him or where his corulers are talking about their government house.

So think before answering.

Where did God promise humans a heavenly life?

Ken4Christ:
Even if I give you, the spirit of unbelief in you will still reject it.

Just to give a benefit of doubt, below are scripture evidence that promised us heavenm

1. John 14:1-3
Jesus tells His followers, I go to prepare a place for you, and I will come again and receive you to Myself.

Jesus promises that believers have a prepared place with Him. He speaks of His Father’s house, which points to a heavenly dwelling. This is one of the clearest promises of heaven for those who trust in Him.

2. Philippians 3:20-21
Our citizenship is in heaven, from which we eagerly wait for the Saviour.

Paul teaches that believers already belong to another kingdom. Heaven is presented as the true homeland of God’s people, and Christ will transform their bodies to match that heavenly reality. Remember that this was addressed to a Gentile church.

3. Colossians 1:5
The hope laid up for you in heaven.

Paul describes a secure future that is kept in heaven for believers. Nothing earthly can threaten it. It is stored with God and guaranteed by Him. This is also addressed to a Gentile church.

4. 1 Peter 1:3-5
An inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, reserved in heaven for you.

Peter speaks of a heavenly inheritance that cannot spoil or fade. God Himself guards this promise, and believers are kept by His power until they receive it fully.

5. 2 Corinthians 5:1
We have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Paul contrasts our earthly bodies with a heavenly, eternal dwelling. This reveals that believers will have an everlasting life with God beyond this temporary world. Another Gentile that was given a heavenly promise.

6. John 17:24
Father, I desire that they also whom You have given Me be with Me where I am.

Jesus prays that His followers will join Him in His heavenly glory. This shows His intention and promise to bring His own into the presence of God.

I know you are thinking of a line of defense to reject this truth as you have been trained to do. But I urge you to repent and leave that evil organisation.

Mosco100:
To give taste to food. Without the good Christlike character, the world will be tasteless as there would be a sharp decline in true love between humans.
You tried!
Salt is a preservative so among the true Christians there is same line of thought {1Corinthans 1:10} which Jesus prayed for {John 20:17} so we are all obediently adhering to the instructions given by those taking the lead among us {Hebrews 13:7, 17 compare to Act 2:42} this shames the world who must be threatened with weapons before they can obey their rulers therefore whenever their rulers looks at true Christians they feel something is lacking in their system of rule as their subjects must be forced to live by their rules whereas true Christians adhere to rules governing us globally under Christ Jesus!

That's the preservative power of true religion.

Jesus added that we are the light of the world {Matthew 5:14} because without light there is no way forward but since we have love among us {John 13:34-35} the world keeps wondering what unites us so strong when they on the other hand keeps fighting and killing themselves over right to rule {Revelations 6:3-4} when are obediently adhering to commandments of Christ our king! Matthew 28:19-20
Christianity Etc › Re: God Has Called Us To Be Salts Not Insults. by MaxInDHouse(m): 1:20pm On Dec 06, 2025
Salt has the power to preserve things so when Jesus said his disciples are the salt of the world he meant the world is decaying spiritually speaking but it's his disciples in the world that's serving as preservatives.

How?

Whatever the world believes or practice they keep looking at what his disciples will say or do!

Jesus saying "see the kingdom of God" means EXPERIENCE the Kingdom of God (not by sight).
Which for the Believer, happens when you become Born-Again in Christ Jesus.
Here is the verse again:

"Truly I say to you that there are some of those standing here who will not taste death at all until first they see the Son of man coming in his Kingdom.” Matthew 16:28

See the son of man coming in his Kingdom
Is the point of emphasis!

Christianity Etc › Re: When Did The Kingdom Of God Come? by MaxInDHouse(m): 8:48am On Dec 06, 2025
Preciousgirl:
Who were those who did not taste death till they saw the kingdom of God in power?
James, John and Peter.

Preciousgirl:
When did they see it?
They saw the future marvelous works the Lord will do by the time God's Kingdom comes when Moses and Elijah (both dead) were talking with Jesus as he was transfigured in their presence.
So from that moment if all others were still doubting whether Jesus is the Christ or whether there is going to be a resurrection of the righteous servants of God Peter, James and John are no longer in doubt from that very moment.
So instantly they asked Jesus:

“Why, then, do the scribes say that E·liʹjah must come first?” Matthew 17:10

The scriptures say Elijah will come first before the Messiah but now they are fully convinced that Jesus the Messiah is right there with them so they asked him why he came before Elijah.

Jesus responded:

“E·liʹjah is indeed coming and will restore all things. However, I say to you that E·liʹjah has already come, and they did not recognize him but did whatever they wanted with him. In this way also, the Son of man is going to suffer at their hands." Matthew 17:11-12

Now they understand that John the baptist was the long awaited Elijah who is to come before the Christ! Matthew 17:13

So the three saw God's Kingdom come in that vision not literally!

Too much proverbs
Too much parables
In plain language, should we start fleeing or what>
In the Bible book of Luke 17:37 Jesus said:

“Where the body is, there also the eagles will be gathered together.”

But what led to this statement of Jesus?

He's talking about the endtime spiritual famine that will affect the whole earth {Amos 8:11} but at the same time faithful servants of God have to gather for divine instruction.

The question is WHERE SHOULD THEY GATHER?

That's the question his disciples asked him which led to that statement:

“Where the body is, there also the eagles will be gathered together.” Luke 17:37

Eagles or Vultures feed on flesh so Born Again Christians chosen to feed Christ's disciples during the endtime {Matthew 24:45} are like the dead bodies because they are spiritually dead to earthly things and all their focus is on heavenly things {Matthew 6:19-21} so by the time false prophets who are milking their own followers keeps accumulating material possessions the chosen will be giving away all their time, resources and energy {Luke 18:22} to feed Christ's other sheep {John 10:16} that is why Jesus referred to them as body or carcasses and called wise ones eagles for their foresight as they identify where their spiritual food could be found!🙂

What is resurrection?
Because, all your interest is preaching.
You are not interested in resurrection grin grin
PREACHING WHAT?🙂
Ọmọ if you hate the truth nobody can save you only Jehovah's Witnesses truly believe in RESURRECTION all others are claiming they will go to heaven which means they won't be raised to life here on earth in fact all of them believe that at death they either go to heaven or hell which you are still disputing with them now.
So in what way do they believe in the resurrection of the dead like Jehovah's Witnesses are preaching and teaching in all their neighborhood? Act 24:15

Below is the screenshot of lesson two of the Bible based publication we are studying with interested friends and see RESURRECTION clearly stated in our book!

Don't digress to something else, who is talking about wars here?
Here is number one evidence that none of you people except Jehovah's Witnesses organization are believers in Christ Jesus!
According to God's word the Christ will be called "Prince Of Peace" {Isaiah 9:6} because through his teachings faithful people throughout the world will form one big and happy family of peace loving worshipers {Isaiah 2:2-4} that's why Jesus said this global family of peace loving worshipers will serve as witnesses to the fact that the Christ has come and done the needful in uniting faithful people throughout the world! Act 1:8

So we must talk about WARS which the devil is promoting to make faithless people kill one another! Revelations 6:3-4 compare to John 8:44🙂

NO they don't!
If they do nobody will lift up weapons in the name of settling issues just as Jesus taught and lived by his teachings. Matthew 26:52
So for wars to be ongoing in the world and those fighting are claiming Muslims and Christians shows that they don't see Jesus as a role model! 2Corinthians 4:4

The worst part of it are those claiming Christians yet they only worship Jesus but failed to honor his utterances by obeying him! Matthew 15:8-9

How is this fact that Jesus is not the Almighty God relevant to the preaching assignment? grin
Good question!
We are supposed to be God's children but our connection to God has been cut off through the sin we inherited from Adam {Romans 3:23} that is why God sent Jesus to serve as a role model for us {1Peter 2:21} and by practicing what Jesus taught us we can please the Almighty God who is the father and God of all creation:

"Stop clinging to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.’” John 20:17

So according to Jesus we are his brothers not his worshipers whereas all of us (including Jesus) are worshipers of the same God!
