The highlighted is wrong interpretation of that verse.

The kingdom of God is in your midst

Jesus the way to God's kingdom is right there in their midst.

Christianity was lost after the death of the Apostles but today it has been restored as JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES!

SapaProMax:
In as much as I appreciate your wokeness, let's get some facts straight. Firstly, the kingdom of God is within you. Jesus said that. You see, brother, Christianity today is Christ through the eyes of Paul while aligning the faith through the eyes of Roman leadership. Hence verses like "Slaves obey your Master with respect and sincerity" even after Jesus explicitly said "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". This Jesus' verse vould have prevented Black slavery. So the Christianity being propagated today is largely different from what Jesus taught. Jesus taught spirituality, the church subdued that and taught religion for obedience and control of people.

So they were born with a stamp bearing "gay" on them, abi?

Some of you hear rubbish and just swallow it waaa, you even bother to think on it. The

This is even beside the fact that gender which is male and female is what every one is born with naturally.

No one is born gay as gay has got nothing to do with being born but rather, a person's sexual choice!

There is no Christian country on planet earth!

Satan is the ruler and god of this world {2Corinthians 4:4; 1John 5:19} there is no way Christians who are his staunch enemies can occupy any region under his rule that's why we keep on praying for God's kingdom to come! Matthew 6:10
Christianity Etc › Re: Who Attacked First, Crusaders Or Muslims?? by MaxInDHouse(m): 7:49am On Nov 23, 2025
The way God thinks is far higher than the way man thinks {Isaiah 55:8-9} what God purposed is a global family not where each person is fighting for his or her own family {Isaiah 2:2-4} that's why Christians were taught never to defend any region rather we are to make peace with everyone be it friend or foe! Matthew 5:43-48

If you are a Christian in any part of the world you should be my brother and no border should separate us talkless policies of worldly politicians! John 13:34-35

Without that you will carry weapons against the same people you should preach to convert and the worst is you have to raise weapons against your fellow believers!😟

manuelkel:
Led his disciples to war on what course??
I think he was against caravans to disrupt the Meccan economy and also for his political ambitions just like Christ chose to defend man kind by dying for humanity.....the same course different pattern.
Muhammad went to war primarily to defend his community, conquer Mecca, and expand the influence of Islam after facing persecution from his own tribe, the Quraysh. His campaigns were also directed against other tribes that opposed the spread of Islam.
Does that justify why Christians don't have to defend themselveshuh

The founder of Islam led his disciples to war so any Muslim speaking against war is not a true followers of Muhammad!

manuelkel:
Greetings too, well you've spoken right from a Christian perspective, but if you deny they were not christians as history recorded then why do you think that the Muslims fighting for their religious course are pure Muslims??
There are seven different sects in Islam, namely Sunni, Shia, Whabbi, Salafi, Berelvi, Sufi and Deobandi (Seven Sects) have different perspectives on creativity and relations in Islam.
Any of these sects could have a different view of this argument but that doesn't make entirely the 7 sects criticized for an action carried out by one or two sects depending on their perspectives and the same doctrine....
But your point “false religionists” has given me an hint that you have a point.
All these propagandas were initiated by “false religionists” which has transcended till date causing more harm than good.

sunnyfats:
From my research
Hebrew 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement.
The judgment in this context is not what most people think rather it's about the 1,000 years reign of Christ.
During that time mankind will be given a thousand years to live without anyone getting sick or dying, no criminals will be allowed because Christ will rule the earth using faithful people to handle matters. Revelations 20:5-6
Some people will still die during Christ's thousand year reign not due to oldage or sickness but for their unbelief after living for just 100 years! Isaiah 65:20

Before Jesus start his rulership there will be resurrection throughout the earth but who and who will be resurrected?

Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice  and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment. John 5:28-29

Note that Jesus didn't say it's Christians that will have life or unbelievers that will be judged rather he said it's about good deeds so by that time Christians will be teaching people everywhere all the good things Jesus taught in the Bible and many will respond positively but there will be people who will not agree as they will insist on practicing their former religions even when they realize that such religions no longer exist that's why they will start criticizing the Christians but after 100 years they will die without sickness or oldage.

So who are the RIGHTEOUS and who are the UNRIGHTEOUS?

The RIGHTEOUS are those who has been declared righteous by God for knowing and practicing pure worship in their past life {Hebrews 11:4-34} so they will be raised back to life so as to have their own benefits under Christ's reign! Job 14:13-15, Daniel 12:13

The UNRIGHTEOUS are people who don't know God's laws but lived by their own conscience {Romans 2:14-15} God will remember them and bring them back to life so that both faithful servants of God in ancient times and Christians may teach them how to practice pure worship.

The last and the least are the WICKED who don't care about God or virtue they lived as if there is no God {Psalms 10:4} and treated their neighbors wickedly so such ones will never be allowed to come back they will rotten in their graves forever! Psalms 9:17

manuelkel:
Greetings guys, I was up last night doing some research and I was asking myself;
Why's religion dividing the world??
Is the crusaders war the reason Muslims have refused to forgive the Christians?
What really went wrong that these two religious groups?
Why can't they both live in peace??
Greetings to you Sir, i really appreciate it when some individuals come out to ask such thought provoking questions so i will say thank you once again for seeking clarity on this matter.
To start with i want you to know that the people fighting or let's say defending using weapons were never Christians Jesus the man from Nazareth taught his followers never to raise weapons against anyone in the process of settling issues {Matthew 26:52} this means they should not think of setting standards for people forcefully or imposing their beliefs on people who feels differently about their faith! Matthew 10:16
So what went wrong?
Jesus used a parable to tell his disciples what will happen when they are no more he said this teaching will be for a short period of time {Luke 18:8} then Satan will use his own agents to overlay what Jesus and his Apostles taught the disciples but instead of fighting to stop this evil deeds things will be left like that for a long time until towards the end of this system of things then angels will start separating true Christians from false religionists claiming Christians! Matthew 13:24-30 & 36-43
Jesus later revealed to apostle John that the separation will occur in our time! Revelations 14:15

So it was after the death of Apostles or when they were sleeping in death that Satan was able to enforce false religions claiming Christians on people everywhere his agents go instead of humbly preaching and teaching just as Jesus commanded {Matthew 10:11-14; 28:19-20} this people were forcefully imposing their beliefs on people claiming they are doing so for Jesus.

Well Jesus returned in the year 1914 and began restructuring his group though it was really tough for imperfect humans to welcome this changes but after some time true Christianity was restored so that Jesus' disciples are now preaching and teaching again globally as they used to do in the first century.

So when people are blaming Muslims for fighting they don't know that these Muslims didn't start the fighting rather it's false religionists claiming Christians that were using force to impose their rule on people therefore the Muslims thought it's about rulership and not God that's why they are now doing exactly the same thing false Christians started back then.

God bless you and may you have peace!

It's not how far but how well God did not start this work with those people who are arguing over which book should be included or excluded so instead of arguing on what people say i focus on what the books say.
We all know that the apostles of Jesus wrote the last books of the Bible and he actually promised to reveal certain things to apostle John who outlived the rest of the apostles {John 21:22-23} so tell me who wrote any other books after apostle John was given the Revelations and what book is that? Revelations 1:1🙂

DiarisGodoo:
I don't know if you actually consider what you say or you just say them to say them. Revelation was not part of the Bible for centuries. So those people were free to add or subtract from God's word. Old Testament ends with Malachi - so Jews were free to add or subtract. You've been shown various books also say not to add or subtract - so you ignore them and start adding and subtracting because they're not Revelation??
Saying you don't add or subtract is not unique to Revelation! It is infact one of the basic tenets in both Jadaism and Christianity!

There is a publication we are using for an interactive Bible course with interested friends like you titled "Enjoy Life Forever"

With the Bible all these questions will be answered satisfactorily.

This is what is found in paragraph one of the first chapter of the Bible.

Thank God for his organization that's the light of the world! Matthew 5:14-16

Jesus told apostle John that he has a message for him and all first century disciples believed that apostle John will not die until God's Kingdom comes! John 21:22-23

So if anyone wants to argue that there comes another inspired expression after the Bible book of Revelations is it out of place to ask who wrote such a book? smiley

NO ADDITION NO SUBTRACTION TO REVELATION NOT THE BIBLE!!!
There was no Bible when Revelation was written and is still not part of some Bibles. Be intellectually HONEST!
Honesty starts from knowing that there's no other book in the entire Bible having such a warning in its conclusion so God's holy spirit is telling us that is the LAST INFORMATION! 1John 4:1

DiarisGodoo:
You've been severally asked, WHEN was the Bible completed as a book?
Your intention is to add other source of information to God's inspired word but we are not part of such.

After Jesus sent an angel to present the book of Revelations to apostle John {Revelations 1:1} can you be honest enough to tell us who else was alive to write any other book? smiley

Thanks for your time and may you have peace!

DiarisGodoo:
Apology accepted.
You go explain tire.
Trinity is implied all over the Bible.
Genesis 1:26 ("Let us make man in our image"wink, where God speaks in a plural pronoun, and Matthew 28:19, which is an explicit baptismal formula mentioning the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Description of God the Father sending the Messiah (the Son) endowed with His Spirit in Isaiah 48:16, and the interaction between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit at Jesus' baptism in Matthew 3:16–17.

Was it pagans that did all that?

But Revelation was not the last writing. There were other apocaliptic writings after it. Carefully read the below and tell us again WHEN the Bible became complete as a book
So whose will do you think made the Bible book of Revelations the last book? 2Peter 1:21

Well there's no other verse in the Bible that emphasized on NO ADDITION NO SUBTRACTION except the last book REVELATIONS! 22:18-19

If God has further information such can't be included in a book that's not the last to be revealed that is how to test the inspired expressions! 1John 4:1 smiley

Was it also pagans that told them (Matthew 28:19), "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit".
Cc: SkengRay
I didn't know in time that you quoted me.
Apologies please it's not intentional.

In the Jewish tradition when someone comes in the name of another person it means doing exactly or telling people exactly what that person wants you to do. So baptism in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit means each disciple must understand how God, Jesus and the holy spirit works. This will help the disciple to know when someone is doing things wrongly yet claiming it's for God.

For instance Jesus emphasized on the importance of his father's name {Matthew 6:9; John 17:6; 26} so any religion or group that undermines God's personal name is a no go area for a true disciple of Christ.
Jesus can't do anything without his father's consent and he always imitate his father in all things so if any religion says Jesus is independent of his father we will not agree.
The holy spirit is the force God uses to accomplish His purposes and it works only according to God's will so any supernatural act not in harmony with God's will is the works of demons to the disciples. smiley

"Connect all faithful people" meaning what?
So what exactly do you know that Paul didn't and WHEN was the Bible completed?
The Bible was completed when Jesus sent an angel to show apostle John some things that will happen in the last days {Revelations 1:1} by that time all the apostles were dead in fact John wrote this book around the year 96 a.d. and later God's holy spirit moved him to write about Jesus in the year 98 a.d.

One significant thing John penned down in this last book that most of the first century disciples didn't know is what Jesus said in the presence of Peter about apostle John.

This apostle was the youngest among Jesus' apostles and the one Jesus loved most so Jesus told him that he has a message for him which will make John last longer than the rest {John 21:22} but Peter out of anxiety spread the word among believers that Jesus said John will not die until he (Jesus) return {John 21:23} so in his own gospel account John corrected this wrong view that Jesus didn't say so.

This means most of the first century disciples of Christ thought apostle John will not die until Jesus return but today someone like me knows better.

Why? Because i am reading the last gospel account that corrected that wrong information!🙂

as a depth Psychologist we tend to try to study beliefs how they originate. JW is different from other Mainstream Christianity so I want to Really understand for real. So I need direct answers Bible verses alone ain't just cutting in it.

I know you don't want to be affiliated with that name "CHRISTIANS" due to the confusion these countless religions with contradicting teachings and conflicting doctrines are teaching so when you said:

SkengRay:
I don't agree that Jesus is the Way to God
I perfectly understood what you meant.

So instead of banking on what those religions used to irritate you try to know the real meaning of what they quoted for you back then.

TRINITY is pagan traditions borrowed after the death of first century disciples of Christ to increase members of the churches because they don't know how to go about the preaching and teaching work Jesus assigned and they want to increase the numbers of their followers they have to welcome different pagan traditions for people practicing it to accept their religion.
That's why you can't see the word TRINITY in any version of the Bible!

1 Corinthians 13:12 obviously signifies that our CURRENT understanding of God and spiritual matters is incomplete and imperfect, like a dim, unclear reflection in a dark, ancient mirror. very I Good but in this verse Jesus was talking as if he and the Father are one. What is your relationship as a JW with Jesus. Who is he to you guys
In which verse?

Being one with God means in agreement with God:

“I make request, not concerning these only, but also concerning those putting faith in me through their word, so that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us, so that the world may believe that you sent me. I have given them the glory that you have given me, in order that they may be one just as we are one.  I in union with them and you in union with me, in order that they may be perfected into one, so that the world may know that you sent me and that you loved them just as you loved me. John 17:20-23

So Jesus is our brother according to him:

Jesus said to her: “Stop clinging to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.’ John 20:17

This means the father of Jesus is our father and the God Jesus worships is our God!🙂

Paul wasn't talking about himself alone but true believers who will be around when the message is complete.

For instance Paul talked about when the Christ returns to take his anointed brothers to heaven Paul said "we who are alive" 1Thessalonians 4:16-17

Will Paul be around when Jesus return?

The answer is NO.

So he was talking about believers who will be around when the message is complete not that he's talking about himself.
