Quite true. JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES are actually one of the few denominations who are still following Christ. Most churches now are headed by motivational speakers who only use the name of Jesus to preach other things. The goal is to attract members to their church and the members will bring the money.

They have been steadfast, resolute and committed.

And it seems they obey the Bible the most:

-Their members would make good politicians but they frown at politics
I respect them. I judge based on actions and not what I'm told.

I would love to be a JEHOVAH'S WITNESS, because of their gentle life. Relaxed service and programs(not those stressful and loud types), and serenity of their church yard. Infact, its this serenity of their abode that blows my mind!

But the thing that worries me, is their misled teachings. How can you say that we are not going to die, but remain on earth and unite with our love ones and live happily together forever!

I am not sure the respect JWs have is on account of what you say. It is more on account of their general simplicity, general adherence to bible truth, and the fact that no one can accuse them of being commercialised or money or power focused like most other denominations are. Alot of people see a purity in them which is lacking in many other places. I should know, for as I told you, in my youth, I used to be one.

Paul is saying if she's doing this without the consent of her husband not when she declared she's marrying more husbands. The man also shouldn't do the same unless he declares he's marrying more!

Of course they are setting the standard regarding closeness to salvation. The reason why Polygamy was permitted back then is because those people were practicing Judaism or other religions before then but no Christian is permitted to practice Polygamy afterwards.
In Paradise all those dead are no longer married because death has parted their marriage and each person will have to start all over again as One Adam and One Eve.
That is the standard for Paradise!🙂

Before anyone becomes a Christian he might have had two or more wives but once he becomes a Christian Polygamy is tantamount to adultery for such a believer!

What most Bible readers missed in the Bible is how the Author directed the affairs of His worshipers instead of focusing on the imperfection of God's servants we need to look into the primary goal of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
In the beginning God instituted marriage and it was between a pair which is one man and one woman they must become one flesh. Matthew 19:4-6 compare to Genesis 2:24
Now it's mandatory that both of them must not hide anything from each other just as you can't hide from your own flesh but when humans became multiple on planet earth something happened, a man named Lamech took two women and married them which is no longer the former arrangement so we may wonder why God didn't stop him. God didn't because Adam and Eve chose to do things their own way without taking permission from God {Genesis 3:1-6} so God decided to allow their descendants to follow whichever path they choose before the coming of Christ. It's when the Christ came that he told us that whoever wants to return to the Paradise God intended in the beginning must revert to the standard God set in the beginning which is One Adam and One Eve! Matthew 19:4-5

So today whoever finds it difficult to cope with the standard God set in the garden of Eden will not be able to live in Paradise: God's Kingdom!
