Your best bet is to search the Internet for y exact part number of the brain box for your model of Toyota Corolla. Use your VIN if possible and you should get an exact match. Then make sure any brain box you purchase matches the part number. This will save you the hassle of trial and error.

What type of car ia this? Best thing first is to run a diagnosis on the car. Scanning of the power train for fault error's would be a step in the right direction. Where is your location?

You were meant to be given some fault error (s) @ the Peugeot centre. I can't really say if your power steering mechanism is controlled mechanically

1. I think the rate of fuel consumption is on the high side. The car fires just fine when driving, no exhaust leakage. I even changed the plugs recently. What else can I check?

2. There seems to be a drag or should I say hesitation when I want to accelerate from rest. In my impatience, if I press the accelerator harder, d car stutters, misfires, before picking up.

3. The car over heats only when I switch on the AC. The fan works perfectly. I even changed the radiator recently. The compressor makes a continous cranky sound when the AC is put on. The AC works perfectly.

4. The power steering isn't working well. The wheel is hard. I bought a new power steering pump to no avail. An electrician told me I should change the car's fuse box and the problem will be fixed since the pump is not manual to be bked but electrically controlled. Anybody had such an experience?

Suggestions and Solutions will be appreciated. Thanks

Run a comprehensive scan first on your powertrain
Secondly a proper diagnosis should be carried out
What has fuse box got to do with an electronically controlled power steering
What year is this Peugeot?

This means there is a problem with your right hand front airbag sensor. It could be a short circuit, could be the airbag has been deployed which can't be fixed as far Nigeria is concerned. Is your airbag light illuminated on your instrument cluster?

2) use the right transmission oil ( Toyota type Iv) and engine oil (5w30)
3) if you have the check engine light on. Run a scan.

Clear the codes, drive to complete and obd cycle then rescan and see what code(s) left

P0340- camshaft sensor circuit malfunction

P1168- air fuel sensor

P0037- oxygen sensor heater circuit malfunction

P0021- intake valve timing control bank 2 malfunction

P0151 -Airfuel sensor bank1 sensor 2

Just noticed that when i accelerate my car rapidly it often misfires with the CEL blinking. During this state it drags. but the misfire stops when the engine is turned off and restarted again, it now makes me to avoid accelerating rapidly to prevent the misfire reoccurrence. I have scanned it with my OBD II and P0300.

I also used to have the CEL on with the VSC & 4WD light on long time ago when i got the car, i also scanned and it says "Cart Engine Emission below threshold". I took it to my Auto mechanic and he said its an oxygen sensor problem. Can this bad O2 sensor be the reason for the misfire.

For those who have been following the trends on what happened to my car after it overheated and stopped on the highway. After d gasket change, The car over heats 40mins after I put on d AC and 2hrs wen AC is off.

I started noticing water in my engine Guage in d mornings..and hard starting whenever I want to drive. I have to press d pedal an Rev before it trips off.

Two days ago the car overheated on my way to work and thankGod I was close so my mech drained d oil and serviced it and warned me to change the engine in no distant time. After servicing..I noticed when I Rev in idle water pours out of the exhaust, so I checked the oil and saw it covered with water. Now it has refused to start

I am going to purchase a skeletal engine on Saturday. but I hope it wud solve this issue once and for all. I'm going with my mech to get a 2AZ engine. Also how much is the average price of the tokunbo engine and how do I knw if I have purchased a good one. Pls suggestions and advise are welcome. Thanks guys

A scan should pick up this. A lot of factors can cause your car's problem ranging from

1) low pressured fuel pump

2) bad speed refernce sensor

3) bad phase sensor (cam sensors)

Check all this. One after the other. And stop that kazeem from carrying carrying out further

When the car shut down and I try to start it, it cranks but the engine doesn't start. I initially thought it was the fuel pump but ruled it out after testing it outside the car.

Morr code(s) should be gotten. Was your power train scanned as well? Ask who ever scanned the car to scan your power train. Further diagnosis needs to be carried out

I met this person by the name Chukwunonso Umeigbokwe on Nairaland who parades himself as an importer at Alaba International market, I ventured into exporting in the UK and sent four vehicles, generators, LCDS, computer accessories and handed it over to him to sell these goods. He fabricated lies saying the vehicles have to be moved to Vesper Lagos where the cars can be sold easily, within one month of the vehicles being in his possession, the generators and other goods he stopped talking calls from me and the persons who was helping find buyers for all the goods.
I tracked him down with the police and he stated he will pay the money he stole, he was arrested a few months ago and held in handcuffs as you can see in the pictures but he hasn't paid any money he owe.
The criminal Chukuwunonso refers himself as CJ and frequently parades at Alaba market looking for people to defraud of their hard earned money.
The worth of the goods he stole is N3,800,000.00
