It means there is a misfire on cylinder number 1. Which could range from bad spark plug. Igntion coil, cylinder no 1 leakage and leaking injector. Though the misfire code could trigger a cataylic converter below thresold fault error. What did you spray. Your car has gone into" limp home mode" actual values on your scan tool would help out.

Guru in the house, kindly recommend a battery for my Nissan primera salon car. The present battery which came with the tokunboh car in February this year, has started misbehaving, at times failing to start the car until an auto technician brings another battery to start the car. Apart from recommending a good battery and the cost, I will also ask if it is advisable to buy a higher one(may be 65mah or 70mah). The capacity of the current one that came with the car is 52mah. Am in Abuja and it's urgent.

Infact I don't really care about fuel so far I don't use extra half of what the v4 is consuming, my question is on engine issues. And please don't misled me, this is my first V6 ride, I have used 1996 Honda accord and 2001 corolla, I had to sell the corolla simply because the engine vibrates whenever in top speed like 130 or 140 on the odometer, same reason I sold the accord v4, I never use 2001 camry v4, I knew I won't get any better fuel consumption better than the corolla but did I made a wrong choice? The dealer maybe see me as a big boy , he told me to use the ride 4 a week of which I'm enjoying with the option that if I don't like it, he would get me a tiny light v4. This car is v6 envelope light, The dealer is like a brother to me tho But I trust no one so far money is involve, please I can do and undo 4 a week. I like the ride but I'm more concerned about the engine issues pls, I wud appreciate every opinion , ko rorun to buy car 4 naija o, ko easy to maintain it sef.

well, no more jerking as at now but the only problem that do exist intermittently is the EPC which once appear will make the car to drag. After a switch off and on it returns to normalcy.

I have checked what you asked me to check and my mechanic has also worked on the throttle. i guess there is still some things we are not getting right, hence the rescan.
The issue now is the once-in-while appearance of the EPC on the dash board.Help still needed.

If the job was done right then the EPC would forever be a ghost. Is your car a drive by wire or drive by cable

here are the results after a rescan.
1. Engine coolant temperature -high voltage. 2. EGR potentiometer too low. 3. Fan 1 control circuit, short circuit to ground. 4. Fan 2 control circuit short circuit to ground. 5. camshaft position sensor range performance. 6. Map control engine cooling thermostat- open circuit F 265. 7. Bank 1 sensor 2 heater circuit, open circuit. 8. Oxygen sensor circuit bank 1 sensor 2 high voltage. 9. Throttle/pedal position sensor 1/2 G79+G185- implausible signal.
Can anyone help interpret all these and possible solution to these?

You called me personally, are you saying you can't get a competent person to handle this car. Well your throttle pedal fault which is number 9 would cause the jerking. Your car is in a limp home mode, camshaft sensor located by the side of the engine which monitors the activity of the camshaft can cause jerking. Inshort this car needs serious fasting and prayer

What kind of vibration? Vibration when on motion or when @ idle? Secondly is it vibration from the steering or right on the engine, pls be more precise

02 sensor other wise known as lambda sensor Helps to monitor/ manage your airfuel mixture in the ratio of 14.7 :1 for better emission purpose. If this is absent or spoilt the mixture of air and fuel won't be monitored by the 02 sensor therefore in return the ecu would get wrong values used thereby increasing fuel consumption

Symptoms your car would suffer from are

Increased fuel consumption
Black smoke from your tail pipe
Carbon debris forms on your spark plugs

Gobe!!! You need a good hand of mechanic. Not those so called kazeems. What tests did they carry out to confirm your ECU was bad. Did they test if dre was a negative switching from your inejctor nozzles? What refernce voltage do you get from your ecu. Series of test needs to be csrried out to know the problem. The damage has been done already

Well I don't know about Kazeem and modification but i bought the key from US, one of the key was lost in transit and had to replace it when it came to Nigeria and like I said before it was pretty simple. Some of the comments on the link above shows duplicating hyundai keys is not as complex as you people are making it to be.

So OP like I said before get your key from ebay or amazon. I can give you the phone no. of the guy that helped me cut it in ladipo if you need it.
