I hope another Kiriji would happen so we can as a matter of urgency flush Ibo out of Yorubaland, and secondarily flush out Christianity and Islam and only Ifa faithful Yorubas shall have this land of their ancestors.

I think you all see now why this MAN, Stella Oduah, need bulletproof vehicles.

We thank God and Pastor Oritsejafor that this man was not in the bullet ridden escalade.

Thank you Jesus! grin

Wickedness in extremity! She is just a child, she is supposed to be playful at that age. Ibo and money, na wah!!

I wish the girl well jor.

On another issue..

He, however, said his wife meant well for the girl and that was why shebrought her to Lagos to train her.
Here is an Iboman admitting that the well being of an Ibo child is only possible in the West, leaving a child in the East is bad.

This is the kind of society our leaders envisioned for independent Western Region, orderly and aesthetic. We had started to create the building blocks..but Nigeria threw its wrench in it in 1963.

Luanda is beautiful.

agbameta: This is not about voting for agpa, this is about your own people cheating and rigging away votes from your own people, this is about your own people denying your own people their basic rights.

....besides, this election is still inconclusive not only because of obvious flaws, but also because the people we charged to run the election aka INEC labeled this election flawed and they have one of your own people in jail as we speak so why are you not addressing INEC? Are they bigoted too? Are they tribal too? Are they undemocratic too just like one of your own that rigged and denied your people their rights?

I don't think you people are even getting the gist or what just happened to you? Your state and your people just got rubbished and ridiculed and you clueless people are still spewing nonsense...
Their candidate for PDP, Nwoye and his household were not found on registration list. Can you imagine? Thats a r.eype of his civic right and yet neither Nwoye himself, nor PDP or the citizens are enraged about that. Shocking!!
PoliticsRe: Governor Peter Obi And The Danger Of Ethnic Card by MayorofLagos(m): 7:12pm On Nov 20, 2013
In a state where citizens are politically gullible and not actively engaged in practicing their civic responsibilities, it would be expected that marginal lines of ethnicity will be exploited to channell collective sensibilities and self evaluation in parity to others.
PoliticsRe: Have You Guys Seen This ? by MayorofLagos(op): 7:02pm On Nov 20, 2013
I am voluntarily making myself available as a proxy account consultant for any lawmaker interested in opening accounts in foreign countries after this bill becomes law.
PoliticsHave You Guys Seen This ? by MayorofLagos(op): 6:59pm On Nov 20, 2013
A bill seeking to allow public officers operate foreign bank accounts passed second reading at the House of Representatives on Wednesday.Under the extant Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act, 2004, it is criminal for a public officer to operate a bank account outside Nigeria.

The bill that passed second reading on Wednesday sought to amend this law “so as to make the leave of the Bureau necessary for a public officer to maintain or operate a bank account outside Nigeria.

”One of the supporters of the bill, Mr. Bamidele Faporusi, argued that the current law was “weak and ineffective”, as no public officer had been successfully prosecuted for flouting it.

He explained that the amendment proposed included a proviso that public officer must get the approval of the bureau before opening such an account. He claimed that the disclosure would remove the secrecy surrounding foreign accounts.Faporusi said, “Today, people are operating such accounts by proxy or even in the open because they know that nothing will happen.“This amendment says you can operate the account but this must be with the leave of the bureau.

People now know that there will be punishment for non-disclosure.”Another lawmaker, Mrs. Aisha Dahiru from Adamawa State, told the House that the secrecy surrounding foreign accounts encouraged “the monumental corruption” in the country. But, some members expressed reservations, fearing that the proposal would simply give public officers a licence to stash more government funds in private accounts overseas.
This is the reason for which Stella Oduah bought those armoured cars. When this man comes home, he will ride in the cars.
grin grin

He wont be travelling to SE or NE or SS when in Nigeria, so he really does not have need for the cars.

I can see Gej needing it after his tenure ends.
PoliticsRe: Yar’adua Was Poisoned By Obasanjo's Kitchen Staff! — Professor Ukandi G. Damachi by MayorofLagos(m): 6:01pm On Nov 20, 2013
Guys, guys, guys..please....

Stop being fooled by these buy here, pay there journalists. Yar'Adua had a pre-existing terminal illness before he became president. His condition deteriorated rapidly and his death was accelerated by the added burdens and stress of administration duties; he was not poisoned. His organs were failing years before he was picked for presidency.

Organ failure will result in the body producing toxins since their natural homeopathic functions are no longer stable and self sustaining. The toxins entering the bloodstream will kill the patient..but on medical care he was managed to prolong life and delay the inevitable.

Please, be a smart consumer and stop being taken for a ride by ambitious journalists pressed to make a living.
PropertiesFederal Housing In Lagos - Buyers Beware by MayorofLagos(op): 9:08am On Nov 20, 2013
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), Monday asked the National Assembly to abolish the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) Act, describing its existence and operation as an anathema to the 1999 Constitution.

He also charged the operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) against arbitrarily arresting of motorists on the state roads while declaring wanted an officer, Mr. Michael Ekundayo caught on camera collecting bribe.

The governor said this at the induction of new special traffic mayors at the LTV Complex, Agidingbi, warning some persons operating as the traffic officers of local government areas and local council development areas.Fashola, who personally inducted traffic mayors along with the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Adejoke Adefulire-Orelope, said road traffic management “is not the responsibility of the local councils. I believe it is a gang of miscreants. I do not think they represent any local government or local development authority.

”On the FHA abolition, Fashola acknowledged that the state government “has unresolved issues with the authority concerning FESTAC Town. Some of the taxes and land charges collected by the federal government are not given to the state.”He, therefore, said FHA “is an anathema to the 1999 Constitution. I do not see the reason the federal government that does not own land in any state get itself involved in housing scheme.

I do not see why it should have a housing authority.“It was created during the military administration. Now in the civilian administration, this is one of the laws that the National Assembly needs to amend or repeal to bring them to conformity with the current dispensation. I do not know why the federal government gets itself involve in the provision of housing when it does not have land.

”He, also, explained the primary responsibility of LASTMA, noting that it was “to keep the state traffic moving. This is the reason the agency exists. Arresting traffic offenders is secondary. If making an arrest will increase the traffic, let the offenders go.  I say this not because I do not want law breakers to be apprehended and brought to justice.“But law breakers cannot undermine our main objective. The longer people stay in traffic, the more money are wasted is fuel burnt. This leads to increase in the price of goods in the state. But with a moving traffic, price of goods will be stable,” the governor explained.Fashola, however, commended a citizen who  got the video of the LASTMA officer caught negotiating bribe inside a citizen’s car, noting that the officer, who negotiated bribes, had been declared wanted.According to him, we must all nail and shame him. We must all use that kind of medium to fish out all the bad eggs in the society and bring them to justice. The officer is still on the run, but we have declared him wanted. I can assure you today that we will get him. As soon as we do, we will give him all his rights, and he will have his days in court. He, also, warned young people against skating on the state roads, noting that they “cannot skate on the highways. I implore all parents to call their wards to order because any child found skating on the high will be arrested and brought to justice.  “It must stop today. Skating on the highway has to stop now. The danger is too much and it is the responsibility of the government to save life. We are not discouraging them from doing so. But they should do that in designated places like recreation centres, stadia and others,” the governor explained.
These land use decrees have been discussed here many times and to point to the fact that the constitution does not give any protection to citizen's right of occupancy on any land. It does however recognize the right of citizen to acquire land. Recognition is not the same as protection and the Governor has clarified now as we have said numerously that Federal Govt does not own any land in Lagos. It is a occupant and pays lease and taxes as decreed by the Lagos Customary Laws.

If you own one of the Federal units in Festac, 1004, or any of the other Federal Housing in Lagos or anywhere else for that matter, this is heads up!

He holds himself up as the Moses of Iboland but he is steady investing his business outside Iboland. He has used the santa claus approach to seal the tongue of those who ought to talk and reveal him. His beneficiaries in turn have used Awolowo to blindfold the gullible apprentice and spareparts trader.

For God's sake what calibre of lowlifes do we have in Aso Rock Cave?

The highest authority on the land and dropped down to tittling-tattlling with a troubled state Governor. Everytime you turn around they are exchanging assaults and insults with a Governor or with opposition. This is the kind of regime one gets when Ibos are the pillars of the ruling administration, less ruling and constant ego flexing.
Lessthan 2mil voters and so? So in your ignorant mind 1.7 mil voters translates to 1.7 mil state population shey? FYI, anambra has voter apathy issues. If every anambra resident above 18 should register for elections, then the voters population should atleast be about 4mil
Voter registration is a sneak peek of manpower. You are looking at the data, for most part, of people capable of employment and production and will generate most of the indices to measure social growth - IGR, GDP, gender representation, diversity and civic awareness.

If 4million is your estimate for full participation and currently you are performing below 50% it goes to show that more than 50% Anambra people are still illiterate on civic responsibilities and rights and the political leaders in that state are selected by the minority.

The political standard and flagstaff of Ibo nation ought to reside in Imo state where almost 75% of the people are conversant and participate actively in their choice for public administrators.

Regionally, Imo State is politically ahead of Anambra.
