PoliticsRe: A Thread For Only South East And South Southerners. by MayorofLagos(m): 5:35am On Apr 02, 2015
Marvin67:
Today I speak as a true Niger deltan. As a Niger deltan with 50% South south blood and, 50% South east blood.
When the South southerners and South easterners went to the polls on Saturday, they showcased one thing; Loyalty. We showed the world that we don't sell out or betray our own. We stick to our man, and if he sinks we sink with him. Some say we're not wise politically, but I say we show brotherhood and loyalty no matter the consequences. The implication of our decision on saturday means we wouldn't hold any of the top six positions in Nigeria in the next administration, but we don't care. We fight with our man, and if he goes down, we go down with him. To me, that is the definition of Loyalty. We don't betray our own, if he's in the ring, we fight with him with all we have. All hail the South South. All hail the south east. All hail everyone who never betrays his own.
I like your outspokeness!

All hail the return of abandoned properties!

Lol bros abeg don't make me laugh, so you are expecting another Obasanjo-Falae bout in 2023? It would always be a northerner against a southerner and we southerners would never be united again. The SE/SS would be waiting to extract their own pound of flesh

As requested by Passingshot, this is my effort to create a Nairaland focal point to celebrate the win of GMB. We all fought hard, stood our ground, took the insults because our resolve to see good governance was unshakeable. I believe Buhari and Osinbajo will not disappoint Nigeria. PoliticsRe: Ibo Presidency......Mayor Must Islamize Iboland by MayorofLagos(op): 5:44am On Apr 01, 2015
Mynd44:
You need to hear the tone in which Fayose declared the curfew...he was just not happy.

Fayose knows there will be massive defections from Ekiti PDP into APC and that might leave him standing alone. Together with the fact that a Tinubu that has suddenly become almost too powerful to be set aside will soon be on his tail, a possible strong ministerial post for Fayemi and MOB back in APC with a now strong APC in Ondo, Fayose won't be the happiest man right now
I just like the way you broke this down.

Hey, Tinubu will not come to Fayose directly. Tinubu, if he was an American Democrat, will be in the rank of Presidents Kennedy, Clinton; and as a Republican would be on the list with Regan, Bush.

Obanikoro is ambitious and reckless.....Tinubu will go for Koro and use him to wreck Fayose. Watch!

How can you have a VP from SW and also canvass No3 postion for someone from SW?

Na only SW waka come? cheesy

Saraka is from NC geopolitical zone... so it might go to him since no APC senator comes from SS and SE.
I have made it a duty to kick Ibo into a state of political awakening, whether they like or not. angry
Yes, thats what I said.....whether they like it or not they will see me on Ibo politics for next 4years.

First, my inlaws distanced from APC because according to them it was Awolowo party....only cow herders (referring to Fulani) and amala and ewedu (referring to Yoruba) people should be members.....it is below Ibo to belong in APC.

They failed to assess risks and calculate forward that in the event of a NW/SW win at the executive, the legislative will be a crucial base from which to protect SE interest.

Now we are looking to distribute power and everyone has a horse standing on the line and ready to carry the weight but guess whose horse is again positioned behind the wagon? angry Ibo people don fail me again!

When Ibo reps and senators...all PDP and in minority need help from other zones to defeat a bill, na who dem go ally with now? The cow herders or the amala eater?

Ibo suffer head version II is about to start....and its all self inflicted, courtesy of Ohanaeze!

Here is picture of the President when told he lost SW....

PoliticsIbo Presidency......Mayor Must Islamize Iboland by MayorofLagos(op): 4:53am On Apr 01, 2015
It is 2015...

A Christian/Muslim representing SS/NW zone is defeated by a Muslim/Christian representing NW/SW.

The winning team were overwhelmingly rejected in SS/SE.

In 2019...
A Muslim/Christian (NW/SW) will be up for re-election.
They will return with a landslide victory.

In 2023...
The incumbent VP (SW) will either ascend to top of ticket or return the ticket to his homezone. If he ascends he must pick a Muslim VP from one of five zones - NE, SE, SS, NC, NW.

Except SE, all these zones have a sizeable Muslim population who are also well educated and polished for the executive position.

Beginning today, there are two things Ohanaeze must do in countdown to the politics of 2023.....8yrs from now.

1. Open its homeland to Islam and start training Biafran youths in religious tolerance.

2. Recruit Mayor of Lagos as Baba Adinni of Iboland in a capacity to serve as the voice and face of Ibos in all POLITIGION issues in the nation.

I must warn that if Ibos miss the opportunity to implement these two recommendations tabled before you, you might end up waiting another 8years....2027, at which it is again the turn of a Muslim/Christian team and your religiously insulated society is at long last called upon to field a candidate for the VP position.

I say all this in assumption that between now and that time the foreign mercenaries brought in from Chad, Niger, Darfur and Cameroon by Jonathan do not find it a God ordained duty to ally with bokoharam and bring Islam to you by force.

Allahu Akbar!
If Ibos want Presidency sooner that the 2030s Biafrans should start learning "Alif", "Ba", "Ta" beginning now.

Kalu says Asllam Alekum to Nwafors grin

One thing i like about him is that he is a northerner with one wife and countable children. men with big polygamous families are a liability when they enter government. They are forced to steal for 40-100mouths rather than say 6. Please in future be wise and look at family arrangements before you choose a candidate. A man that can maintain a nuclear family, and manage a decent home commands more respect than one with so many children that he cannot remember their names. And who we will have to pay for all their needs for 8 years or so. I hope buhari through such a family arrangement/example becomes a model for young northern men.
This is rubbish!

Jonathan and the riffraffs that sorround him do not have multiple wives or children everywhere, yet look at what they did with the.economy.

Na which party use umbrella symbol?

These guys are thumbprinting a whole booklet of ballot coupons and in a video no more than 5minutes long one guy already went through two booklets. At that rate twelve booklets will be completed in an hour. If there are ten of.them doing this thats one hundred and twenty booklets within hour.

How many coupons in one booklet, does anyone know?

Whatever it is multiply by 120 to get a conservative number of thumbprint fabricated for the party with the Umbrella logo.

Thats being conservative...in reality it will run into thousands given the extension on voting.

Umbrella is leaking!

Its not yet uhuru, so dont jubilate just yet. Fvck ambode. Agbaje takes lagos.
Yorubas are not stewpid! Even those that voted Jonathan today know that Lagos is APC command center. Having a PDP Governor creates counter purpose and the risk might force the party to relocate to a more friendly state for its command seat.

You the foreigners may not have the brilliance but Yorubas are already calculating that and assessing the risks and I promise you that Jonathan backers will vote Ambode so as to align Lagos with center and concentrate its already accelerated status to a higher scale and political jockeying.

Example, lobbyists wanting contracts or looking for policies in favor of their cause might not go straight to Abuja to see government but instead come to Lagos to get audience with Asiwaju. Adding to that, the VPs home town is just few kilometers away. The entire axis of Lagos - Ogun is about to see surge in business visits and political summits.

Voting Agbaje will upturn that. Remember to consult a Yoruba person to give you risks and assessments before you vote. You dummy!

Vote Ambode!

Hollow words. Empty as hell.

You did everything within your power to start a shitstorm undecided but your 'victims' refused to take the bait.

As I always say on here: anyone can claim to be anyone or anything online. There is nothing to prove you are who or what you claim to be (or would like people to believe).

You and those who think like you (and you and your ilk can be found across all ethnic groups in this place) hide behind computer keyboards to curse out your 'enemies'. I don't have time for your rubbish.

On a day like this when Nigerians are taking small steps to make their voices heard, you have decided to peddle the same old horseshit.

Grow up. Fast.
shut da fvk up!

The Ijaw nation are blinded at moment and cant recognize their nose from their ear. When the cloud clears and the hood come down and they take stock they will realize their mistake and regret entrusting their son in a cocoon sorrounded with Ibos. You ruined Jonathan's administration.

Ijaws did not Bleep up Jonathan administration, Yorubas were absent in his administration, the Hausas did not do it.....Ibos drowned him in scandals and bad policies.

The best of his cabinet ministers are Yorybas. The worst of them are Ibos and the cabinets that brought repeated disgrace and controversies and divided the country along ethnic and religious lines are headed by Ibos.

Recount how you all stood in for Stealer Oduah? How about your support for Ihejirika's biased and disproportionate staffing of command posts with Ibos?

How many should I quote? Did Peter Obi not cause divisiveness when he accused Fashola of singling out Ibo in his policy of reuniting destitutes back with their homeland and family? Even Ohanaeze jumped in and cried tribalism.......and the nation found out you were not singled out and it wasnt tribalism.

Gbawe, Nduchucks, Superstar are responding in a spirit of forgiveness and brotherhood. I like their response.

It just happens that I have studied Ibo from afar and near, off line and online and I am not convinced you have changed from your convinction, whether perceived or real, that you are superior to everyone else.....and in all times!

When you loose in the political battle to assert your superiority over others someone need to come out and rub your loss in your face....rather than accomodating you with forgiveness.

That person that will rub your loss in your face and deflate your swollen ego is Mayor of Lagos.

I say it again without remorse....shut da fvk up!

My dear no one betrayed Jonathan. Those that came out to vote are probably the few that support Ohaneze and the thieving crew in Abjua. Radiobiafra is opposed to Ohaneze and a lot of people in the east listen to it now. They have been screeming that no one should vote. Am sure Jonathan knows about it, he probably underestimated the impact such a broadcast will have. they broadcast daily that no one should vote. How is that a betrayal??
Who is the voice of leadership in East?

Ohanaeze, Njiko Ndigbo, MASSOB, all put weight behind Jonathan.

You follow the voice of leadership if you want to coalesce your political gains for progressive growth.

Why listen to Ohanaeze when it asked for a step down for Jonathan but then follow Radio asking you to boycott election.

What kind of strategy forms your political decision in East?

You guys will soon realize that in order to make impact on others in their homeland you must first clean house and wipe off your heavy baggage in your own homeland. You keep protecting and shielding the poison within and then blaming others for putting barriers in your path.

Ohanaeze is pro-Nigeria but the spirit of its followers are pro-Biafra. Now, tell me, how do you reconcile that?

@op.We are waiting sir.I have said it before that, right from the times of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, remember Ambrose Folorunsho Alli of old Bendel state, the Yoruba race is the only race in Nigeria that relies heavily on its intelligentsia for strategy. The choice of PYO is a perfect compromise between the Yoruba political(political elites are intricately fused to the traditional institutions through APC tickets for princes of first class obas in Yorubaland) and intelligentsia bloc. It's like having the traditional Ogboni establishment and traditional system(King and chiefs) combo!Y9ou can't beat such scrutiny system of holding power in trust on the Omoluabi principle!
The heavy investment in tertiary education in the South west isn't for joke! They are the incubating centres of ideas! That's why Abacha wanted to kill the Universities in Yorubaland through denial of subventions!
The day other Nigerian ethnic groups stop looking down on their academics, they will be better.
correct!
Good job on the account.

In first republic, as Premier, Chief Awolowo had a political think tank made up of scholars in University of Ibadan. They formulated policies that Action Group adopted for its social programmes throughout Western Region, which at the time extended to the banks of River Niger. When Akintola allied with North and became Premier the scholars refused to support a diluted political front.
