Here in is the problem. When it was first discussed Beaf didnt rebutt it. He just said "it was ceremonial". I want to believe Beaf knows the president better than many here and is privy to some goings -on in the presidency so why didnt he deny it then?

After the Prof Onwuliri saga and the Uganda one i started believing some stories that the Govt denies o! Sometimes its damage control they do in the name of special adviser on media abi na new media.

i expected him to say this. I could have quoted them verbatim had i not seen it here.

Well Mr Wale AKA "use Oandos money to rent Jets anywhere you are going to" a very close friend of mine, working for the company had told me that Oando hired the services of an accountant to re-write their books and keep it clean. They had already prepared for the probe first hand. The ad-hoc committe would find nothing incriminating there.

What they should do is investigate the numerous filling stations that Oando have in neigbhouring countries, the mini refineries they possess, how they smuggle what government had already paid for to other countries, how they bribe their way through customs at the border etc.

No single company did what was wrong yet a budgeted 255 billion has walloped 1.73 trillion as of December. Shameless liars!
PoliticsRe: Au Chairmanship: Jonathan Denies Defeat By Benin Republic's President by mbaemeka(m): 1:31pm On Jan 30, 2012
LIARS!

even beaf didnt refute it he claimed the AU chairmanship to be ceremonial. This publication (whatever it is) is a big joke. How bad has it come to? It reminds me of something i heard recently  that occurred during a meeting of Nigerians in Diaspora (USA) with the foreign affairs minister for state, Prof Onwuliri . The news that got to Nigeria was that Nigerians in Diaspora endorse GEJs government and are fully behind the subsidy removal as against an eye witness report that said that a man whilst the minister was still speaking got to her and struck her, vehemently protesting the hike in PMS prices and voicing his distrust and disappointment for the present government.
Christianity EtcRe: With Much Poverty And Need Should Be Much Giving by mbaemeka(m): 10:03am On Jan 30, 2012
In the following chapter, eight verse the bible succintly declares that "God is able to make all grace abound towards you (the giver)such that in all situations, under all cirumstances, you would be able to give and accomplish your tasks without any aid or support"

I think that very much proves that their giving invariably meant that they would have the grace to keep giving, in otherwords have more.

I recall that as a cell leader i realised that when we needed to give for a program or towards a cause the folks that gave during the last program (my humble self included) were always the ones to give during the next and next. You cannot seperate a giver from a rich person. one precedes the other.

Anyone that has nothing to contribute except to rabble on about other peoples businesses is not only a rabble rouser but a neurotic one at that.
What is wrong with saying someone who petty politicians tried to ridicule but defended himself excellently is a person of integrity? So what if he owned the jet, limousine etc.? what business is it to you or me? nothing!

If Bill gates children or say Aliko Dangotes children were to see the pictures would they have responded in the same way many (poor)people did?

The boy is from wealthy parents who can afford him such luxury yet he had the time to put out that write up rebutting the lies that were peddled against him by people like you trying to put his mum in a bad light. it is commendable! If you dont like it, you can piss off!

I had mentioned some of the things he did earlier on but these shameless critics wouldnt call it quits. They rabbled and rabbled on.

Its very lucid that when politicians try to get at you to no avail they go even further to hit you were it matters most- your loved ones. This is sardonic!
PoliticsRe: Resign Now, Senator Tells Alison-madueke by mbaemeka(m): 3:38pm On Jan 19, 2012
eventhough i agree that she should have done her home work well before the subsidy was removed as i felt that the timing was poor and offcourse very anti-people!

Human rights lawyer Femi Falana commended her for the sweeping change she had begun in the down stream sector. Didnt you hear about the removal of the PPPRA boss and the DPR boss? (especially the former!) He should also be questioned as to how the figures sky rocketed. He was part of the approval team too. It shouldnt call for her sack or resignation as has been piloted by a few miscreants here.
PoliticsRe: Resign Now, Senator Tells Alison-madueke by mbaemeka(m): 3:31pm On Jan 19, 2012
^^^^

In the custom officers report he said during the president Olusegun Obasanjo regime orders were passed at different points for the customs to neglect checking for proper documentation from the markerters. This became a lee way for the corruption to burgeon and replicate rapidly. She wasnt the petroleum minister then.

Also at the end of 2010 the subsidy figures wherent as gynomous as we saw them to be in 2011. she was the petroleum minister during both periods.

What i'm trying to say is that her boss was aware of the illegal releases of the money (as she cannot solely authorise it) so what did he do about it? the NASS heard about a policy meant to be handled by 240billion naira going on to consume 1.3 trillion naira. why didnt they call for a red herring? whatever monies that have gone un accounted for her boss-President Jonathan should know about afterall he is the only one who can allow for such misappropraition since he calls the shot. why isnt the attack directed at him too?

Its the same old issue. Look for the scapegoat and move on. If Mr president believes her books to be good i dont think he'd subscribe to this billious advice from people who want the petroleum sector to be business as usual. The end is near!

There would always be indingent people, i think that is a fact of life nobody can take away. Wether they loot money or not, i'm not sure thats the matter at hand. They have a legal right to flaunt their wealth and they could be unapologetic about it. That doesnt go without saying that its none of mine or your businesses. period!
PoliticsRe: Resign Now, Senator Tells Alison-madueke by mbaemeka(m): 10:35am On Jan 19, 2012
I am in support of beaf today. The call for her resignation is precipated by ill will. It is baseless, senseless and hypocritical.

The senate received the PIB since Rilwanu Lukmans time that could have ushered in a change in the oil and gas sector. What did they do with it? I heard a former member of the house of reps say on AIT that the NASS didnt go past the first page of that bill. Where was Mr. Obadara then? Trying to score cheap political points. This is despicable!

The atrocities being committed by NNPC long precedes Diezani and that aside she doesnt really call all the shots as regards the ministry. she answers to President Jonathan,(in a subtle way to the CBN governor and the finance minister and even Mr. Oniwon in the sense that their approvals are needed (MOST TIMES) before any deal or agreement is concretised. If you have real questions you should ask SLS to tell us who and who approved the realease of such monies.

The senators prodding should be directed to good use and he should rally his fellow house mates to hasten up the passage of the undiluted PIB so that we can begin to experience a more restructured and revamped petroleum Industry.

That dollar picture was from a fund raiser in the united states. Many Nigerians have pictures with that amount of dollar notes too. It doesnt portray anything to me.

The boy didnt even rent that Jet, Probably his Parents did. They may have even been on the jet with him. All people saw was the one the boy uploaded on his facebook page.

The young man works for sahara energy or oil, cant remember now but its one of them. The fact remains that his Dad alone can afford him that without being a thief.

Did anybody read what i posted? Those pictures are old. infact they were posted on her sons facebook page while she was still the minister for mines and steel. He posted them on facebook to show his friends. theres absolutely nothing wrong with that.

That story about him man handling a girl is frivolous too. I can imagine Ugonna shouting i have "many security officers" thats just nonsense. Not the Ugonna i know.

This is pure bad belle from whomever posted this. Utter shame!

Just like the Babangida issue, you are wrong again! It was IBBs son that wedded Ikimis daughter and not the bereft of verisimilitiude story you posted there. Thats one take.

I was a very strong proponent of the anti-subsidy removal clan. I make bold to say so. all i was trying to say is that even if shes corrupt and all what not you cannot deduce that from investigating the lives of her children (step and biological) because her husband also has alot of money. What is wrong with that?

I also debunked the $23million house scandal for the falsehood that it portrays.

if someone like me who knows her and her family so well doesnt seem to be in support of their profligate lifestyle or policy then you should know i'm no sycophant.
PoliticsRe: Alison-madueke Double Standards: Photos Of Son’s Private Jet Lifestyle by mbaemeka(m): 1:35pm On Jan 18, 2012
I dont defend Goodluck Jonathans government when i feel it is wrong but in a few instances when some people take it too far i feel i'm also obliged to respond alike.

I know that family as well as someone who can walk in there without being interrogated by the security officials so you can bet your bottom dollar that whatever i would say can be held as hard truth.

Firstly, some of those pictures are old like the one with Chris Aire. It was taken while she was the minister for Mines and steel.
Secondly, the family was already very affluent before the Admiral wedded Diezani. He was once a millitary attache to the united states, immediately after he was appointed Millitary administrator for Old Anambra and Imo meaning virtually all the south east states. Then he was appointed  fleet commander of NNS ARADU in the Nigerian Navy, Flag officer NAVTRAC , Flag Officer Western Naval command and eventually Chief of the Naval Staff. if you know much about the millitary you would know that these are all lucrative postings. He has about 2 or 3 ships to his name. (no mean feat at all) I think what i'm trying to say is that her husband too is a wealthy man.

Some of those pictures were on the childrens facebook page(s) so i believe whoever posted it here got access to them somehow. you cannot blame them for enjoying the money their parents (looted) for them.

Diezani didnt purchase any house in austria, it doesnt make any sense. Her husband has a house in the US, Abuja, Lekki etc. one would believe that if she was to purchase any house of such magnitude it wouldnt be in austria for $23million (an amount Jay Z wouldnt use to purchase a house for himself)

Lastly, the statement that the children are really intelligent is spot on. The first Daughter graduated summa cum laude in the US, the third girl in the US had the best WAEC result in Queens college in her set and i think she was the valedictorian. The fair complexioned fat boy works with Sahara oil or so and that private JET was probably paid for by NNPC when they were attending a wedding in abuja. every darn thing there has an explanation.

Geeeeezz. This isnt how to combat corruption people. We should address the issues disspassionately and apolitically without venturing into unnessary slandering and privacy invasion. thank you.

PoliticsRe: S/court Judgment: Politically Motivated, Has Little Judicial Content – Buhari by mbaemeka(m): 4:13pm On Dec 28, 2011
if one is to be dispassionate as possible the above quote from Buhari has some verisimilitude. He is not attacking the person of Jonathan he seems to be addressing the present situation of the entity called Nigeria. I have no doubts that Jonathan would have won the election fair and square, the fact remains that there were irregularities here and there. People should be true withemselves.

Like a patriot he goes on to give a word or two of advice to the government as to how they could mitigate the worsening situations in Nigeria and i see people here saying "go and sit down" and all what not. i think it is unfair.

I know a retired Naval officer that dedicated 28 years of his life to the millitary. His current pension is a paltry 61,000 a month less than what millitants are paid. Is that justice i ask? better put in a way conscience would ask it "is it right?" yet we have a minor few that are heavily paid and do close to nothing. The cost of governance is high, whilst they seek means to cut down on the spendings by removing the petroleum subsidy they should also think about slashing the salaries of our legislators. The position is too attractive and lucrative.

I may not have subscribed to Gen Buharis methods of doing things in the past, especially as he was a former millitary ruler but here on he was spot on. PDP has shown time without number that they represent one thing and one thing only- their party. Nigeria deserves better!

Ringim should tender his resignation for his gross incompetence. I see no reason why he has been left in the position save chronism. GEJ should get that man sacked forthwith even as he cuts down on governmnet spendings. This is my take.

For the record the minister attended the wedding in Nigeria but she couldnt make it to the one in the united states. That "no love lost" theory is purely sensual and of no verisimilitude. By the way, her son ch, is 11.

Christianity EtcRe: Where Is Mrs Oyaks? by mbaemeka(m): 1:28pm On Dec 20, 2011
^^^^ that was the essence of my post. She may have had important engagements that they both know about. She may have snuck in a day or two before that actual day to celebrate with him. Something could have come up. I'm just rubbishing the talk of busy bodies that say theyre seperated. Shes usually in Nigeria in December with her husband and their two daughters.

I know of occasions when the Petroleum Minister wouldnt be able to make an important trip or even her husband too mightnt be chanced. For e.g (i hope this doesnt generate more questions from olofofo nairalanders) when The ministers last daughter wedded in the US she couldnt attend it. she had other engagements. So her husband was there alone. It doesnt then mean that theyre seperated now, does it?
Christianity EtcRe: Where Is Mrs Oyaks? by mbaemeka(m): 1:02pm On Dec 20, 2011
The petroleum minister didnt celebrate her 50th birthday with her husband, the admiral. She knew he'd be busy during the actual celebration and he knew she'd never really "celebrate it well" because alot of people were going to turn up and theyd be left serving people as against having a private time with few friends and family. so she celebrated it with a few friends and her immediate family some days before the actual day. On the actual day, her husband wasnt there.

They live in Lekki too but madam is in abuja most of the time so theyre seperated (Manmustwac style of conclusion) grin joker!

i dont know the importance of your incessant bickering. I pray for my country too like every well meaning Nigerian and christian should. Sometimes its more than a change of heart that people need, they require to simply be replaced. But be sure alot is going to happen soon.

What measures have you taken to ensure that your government provides you with all the amenities you listed? you cant make a point by antagonising another mans point. You dont need to be jumping from pillar to post to explain to us that so and so is happening in the country. We have preached Jesus to you but you rebuffed him. Dont you think your government is doing same?

I pray for the nations around the world, for the rulers, for the citizens. I declare peace-the peace of God that surpasses all understanding to envelope the nations. The USA and IRAN are delivered from wicked and unreasonable people that dont know the gospel and by extension other nations including my beloved Nigeria.

I declare that uterrance be granted many christians so that they would preach the gospel without fear or favour in and around those nations.

You told us in your word that, us, christians are the salt of the earth and i have looked at my life and i have found it to be so. Hence i'm asking you to restrain the hearts of wicked men so that more avenues would be created to  reach out to many. Its my right as your son to preserve the world and i'm observing it.

I pray that you flood the light of the ignorant with the wisdom of your word so that they too could like all the saints understand your depth, height, width and length of your love even though it cannot be fully understood.

I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

@joagbaje

i'm sure by now you would have noticed that these lot dont know the word even though they quote scripture tirelessly. for anyone who knows the word would know that prayer can change anything, i dear say.

I keep being referred to the story of moses and the king of moab when i hear all these "dont bother praying fors" because the thought of it goes against the very tenets of the glorious gospel.

God felt restrained from effacing his people by the prayer of Moses. The same goes for the Moabite king.

We can, and i mean christians can put forward any situation, postpone, quell any situation we find unfavourable to the preaching of the gospel-economy included.

It is highly comical that someone who claims to be a firstclass microbiologist/pharmacist christian living in the US would be hoping for a war and allaying such wicked thoughts on the premise of "Jesus prophecied it". (even when its crystal clear he was refering to the tribulation). Talk about firstclass hypocrisy!

Fuel landing cost + profit = N120

Total to Marketer = N120

Now without subsidy

Fuel landing cost + profit = N120
Masses pay  = N120
Subsidy       = N0
Total to Marketer = N120

Both ways the marketer gets his money, so how did GEJ destroy the cabalhuh Please explain with figures[/quote]^^^^^ this has been my train of thought since i heard about the subsidy removal. It does nothing to "break" the cabal as has been peddled here ad nauseam.
