olokeded: Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, Weekend, was a guest on Radio Continental, 102.3 FM and he listed three good reasons why the president do not hate the Igbo.
They are:

- When the President ran for political office in 2003, who was his running mate? Dr Chuba Okadigbo. And in 2007? Chief Edwin Ume-Ezeoke. If he hated Igbos would he run with them? That shows you the respect and the regard he has for Igbos, it was political reality that compelled him to come south-west in 2011 and in 2015
- Igbo benefitted from PTF project under Buhari as Oil minister
- 2nd Niger Bridge captured in 2016 Budget: The second Niger bridge is on the budget in 2016. Let’s recall that the last President sometime in 2011 said that he would complete that second Niger bridge before 2015. He didn’t even go beyond the architectural drawing, but in 2016 budget, that project is there.

Politics › Re: Fulani Herdsmen Attack Coromo In Taraba State, Kill 12 by Mbediogu(m): 5:00pm On May 08, 2016 |
ericuzor: By Emeka Mamah
People suspected to be herdsmen, yesterday, attacked Coromo and two other villages in Gassol Local Government Area of Taraba State, killing about 12 persons and wounding about 18 others seriously. Local sources said those killed included seven men, two women and children, while 13 houses were burnt.
Information about the attack was sketchy, last night, but it was said that the herdsmen launched the attack following a long standing land dispute over farm lands. The herdsmen reportedly stormed the town in the night and started attacking Tivs who had come back to farm on their lands. It was said that hundreds of the natives fled to neighbouring villages while others ran to the Gassol B Police Divisional headquarters for their safety.
Efforts to speak with Taraba State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Joseph Kwaji, were fruitless as he did not pick calls to his mobile telephone, but sources at the police headquarters confirmed the incident, saying that armed policemen had been dispatched to the affected communities to maintain peace. The Taraba incident came on the heels of the massacre by suspected herdsmen in an Enugu suburb which triggered outrage.
Before then, there had been reported attacks by suspected herdsmen across the country.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Sunday Vanguard, the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase, said herdsmen had lived with the people across the country for decades, hinting that those behind recent killings could have been foreigners.
Specifically, Arase said the killers could have been armed men displaced from their countries by the Libya and Mali crises.
Source: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/05/herdsmen-strike-kill-12/ And who are those displaced from Mali due to instability in their country? Fulanis. And why did they pass through other countries to come to attack Nigeria? Why did it not happen before now and why are they being pampered? Is it unlikely to be linked to BH? Everybody should wake up and help in the fight against terrorism in any disguise. |

Christianity Etc › Re: If God Created Only Adam And Eve,how Did Others Come About by Mbediogu(m): 2:40pm On May 08, 2016 |
Splinz: Okay, lets reason together. You see, it is not everything that's recorded in the bible, i.e, the day to day activities of bible's characters. This style of writing is not only common in the bible, but also in the literatures of the world. Why? Here, "Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were EVERY ONE of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written"- John 21:25. That's it! If the world itself cannot contain just Jesus ministry alone, how much more detailing every thing about creation?
Now, the point I'm trying to make is this. In Genesis 4:1, Cain is born. The very next verse, Abel is born too. The point: after Cain was born, definitely, a lot of time has passed before Abel was born! Also note that it is in verse 1 that Adam knew his wife, and it is still in that verse that she bare Cain. So at least you should know that nine months has passed since Adam knew his wife before she bare Cain!
Coming down to verse 14, certainly, a lot of years has passed before Cain slew his brother, judging from the fact that one was a farmer and the other, a shepherd. That means they were adults who could take responsibilities!
So, it is very much possible and likely that at this stage of their lives, their parents may have already produce other children in order to be "fruitful and multiply". I hope this helps? Very reasonable and logical. Not everything was recorded and even parts of what was recorded were removed by church authority. |

salykely: What about the Hausa man who was roasted by Igbo youth? No one is condemning this retaliatory attacks. No one is telling Igbo people what they did to poor hausa families who have lived in their mist is bad! All I keep hearing in this forum from SE extract is hailing of the governor who even went further to inaugurate an inglorious ethnic militia that will help in killing Hausa/Fulani people in case of crises. A governor who have decided to profile Hausa/Fulani within his domain. Let everyone keep in record the attitude and response of this governor to this incident. If Kano alone should respond in like stupidity, the entire SE won't have the resources to accommodate the in flow of Igbo refugees. In civilized countries, those who burnt that hausa man to death would be brought to justice. The man was not sentenced to death, he was not allowed to defend himself in a court of law. He was killed by Igbo mob without hearing his own side of the story. Until death, the law of his land presumed him innocent. You are supporting the excesses of your people in another people's land. Consider what would have happened if it was an Igbo man in Kano that killed an Hausa man. Rather you prefer to tell us what would happen if Kano alone decides to start mass killing of Igbos as usual. That is non sequitur. At times like this especially when bigots like you decide to open their mouths, I feel that component parts of Nigeria will be better off if separated. Well the people have decided to protect themselves since the powers that be are indifferent or helpless. Unfortunately we all saw it coming. |

I wonder what manner of pastor acts the way he does. First hint of what a disaster he'd be was the SUVs he bought for commissioners and the Corollas for mere Transition Local Government chairmen which costed 13mill and 7mill a piece respectively under these difficult times when everyone else is cutting costs.
Then he went on to misappropriate the bailout funds- now dude can't even pay january salaries of civil servants.
What a shame. Tell me the governor that is a gargantuan success. Is it Ikpeazu, Rochas, Aregbesola or which? It is the same. The era of good governance ended with first republic. |
