Bro, it’s good to be guided and informed. In both the Senate and the House in Nigeria, the convention has been to appoint an opposition party member to head the Public Accounts Committee as a sort of check to the Executive. Senator Lawan who contested Senate President with Saraki was the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Accounts when PDP had majority and Mark was Senate President. The only wise thing is normally to appoint a sort of friendly opposition member. Mark and Lawan were good and if not for the power dynamics, Mark would have prefeered Lawan to Saraki though Mark would also have been somewhat restrained when George Akume a Mark rival from same State emerged as Deputy to Lawan. As it is, a PDP member will head this Committee in both Senate and House. For instance, Saraki could appoint Andy Uba or any PDP Senator who is said to be close to him or who he thinks he can influence.

The Ogun east senator should head the PAC in the Senate. I doubt their could be a better choice for that post.

I love going on excursions too, I love adventures and sightseeing. But you can get this outside the church. It is not a spiritual activity and it has lured some youths to sexual immoralities and other unholy acts in many instances. I do not see why churches would prefer excursions to evangelism. I know a church that has organized several excursions some of which I have attended but yet to mobilize its youth for evangelism of any sort. The issue is that social events has prevailed over spiritual activities in many churches.

It is important to be mindful of activities that would feed only our bodies and not our souls in churches.We should have a life outside the church for moderate social and extra religious activities.

The body can be fed in sundry ways. Girls have gotten pregnant during evangelism trips.
I am too lazy and old for excursions but I see nothing wrong in them.

No. 3 is a no no for me.
I can never be a member of a church where they do such.
My giving is between me and God. No pastor, no matter how anointed he thinks he is can and will ever be privy to such details on a constant basis.

Pointless for a govt that is borrowing to pay salaries.
