Wike is wasting time chasing 10 cars. MAY 2015 salaries are still unpaid. |
alaoeri:I used to believe that theory until orile road was rebuilt. Even brand new drainage and the road yet to be commissioned, the petty traders along that rain had filled the drainage with debris. This was 3 years ago. Of course the road did not last. The signal batman's part of it barely lasted six months before flood decimated the road. As much as govt has much to do, lagosians are too dirty in their waste management attitudes. |
Politicowizard:Th e problem is that his greed has created a mess that it will take a miracle to clean-up. I struggle to see his point in this fight. All the national assembly members are allvthieves and gluttons bar none. They make no difference to the polity. Why insist on choosing a first among equals that will make no difference? If he is interested in the public good as we often suspect, he should be expending more energy in shaping the federal cabinet as I am convinced that the man has an eye for executive talent unlike most Nigerian politicians. Those are the kind of choices that will affect the masses. Not who hits the gavel among 109 thieves. |
Boss13:I see your point but does Tinubu have the number to enforce their expulsion? If he is not certain, he will just widen the divide in the party and quicken it's demise. On the other hand, haters of Tinubu in apc can be laughing to the bank but truth is if this is allowed to stand, lawlessness and criminality will never depart from the house of the broom carriers. Which ever way you look at this thing, the mess is enormous. This is where the greed of Tinubu and Saraki had gotten us. I shudder at the fact that Saraki was greedy enough to sanction a deal that makes opposition minority members both deputy president and majority Senate leaders. How can a thief stoop so low? Is there no honour among these thieves? |
Boss13:What exactly is out national interest? When did Tinubu's interest equate national interest? These men are all after their personal fiefdom and private estates. Saraki nor Tinubu do not care for the masses.masses like you think. Just that once in a while their desires collide with public good. |
dejavu009:Why do we keep making such comments. He does not need the Senate to fight corruption. All he needs is to give the effect and police the clear mandate to spare no cow while funding efcc adequately. We have enough laws to fight corruption. We don't need Buki to enact new laws. |
The beginning of the end. Whichever way you slice this orange, APC is a loser. Resolving this mess will be too messy to contemplate. I said it years ago buy I hate to sound like a prophet. Apc, PDP, APGA etc are just acronyms uses to fur TN error the interests of thieves. Bone is different from the other. It just happens to be that once in a while, their inordinate ambitions and greed intertwines with the will and good of the masses. The Domain election seems faultless but how anyone who dislikes Tinubu can laud the criminality that happened in the Senate is laughable. The only hope we have is that the national assembly is largely useless and an ornament in the scheme of developmental processes. There are a thousand things Buhari can do within the ambit of existing laws. Nothing was ever going to come out of the National assembly irrespective of who the leaders are. It is now time for Buhari to wake up from his slumber and appoint a cabinet. The criminality perpetuated yesterday will not be an acceptable excuse. A Senate where a politician from the minority party is the majority leader is not only laughable but reinforces my view that the national assembly is a fraternity that transcends party lines and only greed with naked ambition rules. Tinubu and co should forget unseating Saraki, it will not happen. The Days of okadigbo and enwerem are gone. These guys know how-to look after each other and as long as Buki does not rock the loot fund even Remi Tinubu will protect him and ekwerenmadu. Besides it will take a great dose of illegality to remove the illegality that happened yesterday. |
Bode George too is talking? A man that is the noble to lace Tinubu's shoes and jas been made mince meat for decades in Lagos, is also talking. Was he talking from exile? |
cramjones:Femi, leave matter. Even Obama is called worse. It is part of the job. |
naijababe:So you don lose all that idi Araba in the name of healthy eating? |
sosanova:I see your point. The man should have just kept out of the politics of national assembly like he promised. Tinubu and Lai Mohammed will just rail road him down a ditch. The issue is that having being embarrassed like this, he is less likely to take their advice even when it is for good. |
Buhari should just appoint his ministers and send to the NASS. We have wasted enough time on all this politics of the belly. Now that Tinubu has been demystified (at least for now. He needs to unseat both Saraki and Ekweremandu to regain his superhuman image), we need to get some governance going while allowing the NASS to do what they often do best; chop free money. |
omenka:I wonder what you expected from these set of bandits? There was never going to be anything different. The only good thing is that the NASS is not in Tinubu's pocket. The man seems to have over reached himself. He is human but has refused to accept his limitations. This national assembly will not be anything different from the previous one. They will just chat rubbish while allocating billions to themselves. There is little Buhari can do as there is separation of power. |
wnycom:stop raising your hopes. All they are interested in is expanding and containing their loot. Even the Ben Bruce that makes noise will soon fall in line. Forget all the talk you hear. Our National Assembly and Civil service are the bastions of corruption. Police dey learn. |
bigerboy200:There will be no quality leadership anywhere. Like i said earlier, the NASS is a frat. Once they get in there, they forget the acronyms for which Nlers fight over. In those chambers, there is nothing like APC or pdp. They are just thieves who have honour among themselves. Nothing else matters. Even Tinubu's wife will rather go against the husband than go against the hallowed chamber of stealing called National Assembly. |
Tinubu has been screwed big time. |
I thought he is chairman? |
koladebrainiac:You sound as if the others are any different. Are they in it for you? |
All the senators are crooks. However, they should be given the right to choose who is the chief crook. There should be that much honour among thieves. Jagaban needs to learn how to manage his lususfor power. I understand that power is an aphrodisiac but there must be some limit. |
wilhazcar:Short sighted sales people. They do not realize that they have lost much more by the stories you have shared. What will it cost for them to replace tjebitem free of charge? What pains me is when seemingly fraudulent sellers believe every buyer is out to scam them. I have had issues with both but had better luck with ordinary Dealday. |
1stola:No matter her crime against the state, I wish her complete recovery. Cancer is not a thing to wish on your worst enemy not even Diezani. |
FOLYKAZE:Your idiocy is mind boggling. Where in my post did you see a defence of PDP? They have the likes of Metuh and Akin Osuntukun to do such diety work for them. You sense of reasoning mist transcend the simplicity view that any criticism of APC is a defense of PDP. Some of us do not care for acronyms that mean little. Try and comprehend that fact, assuming it is not difficult for your simple mind. |
FOLYKAZE:APC conducts primaries when it suits Jagaban and conducts selection when it suits same |
INTROVERT:The same mistake will be made and nothing can be done about it. The National Assembly is a fraternity that transcends party loyalty. Those men and women make choicest protect their looting tendencies. If Femi does not argue well for their selfish purposes,he will be defeated on Tuesday. There is nothing like principle in the national assembly, it is all about selfish interests. |
martyns303:They all say it and never mean it. He it's not the first to say it. I doubt his wife even believed what he was saying, going by the mayhem her goons unleashed in rivers state. |
I don born finish (vasectomy in place) if not na these names I for name my kids; Olerato omphile Marang Boitumelo Zikora Oyindamola Xolile S'tandiwe Siyabonga |
PassingShot:Clowns should be ignored. Buhari actually has a hidden house that was only discovered after he won the presidency? Fayose and ffk were throwing everything possible at the man and yet they only discovered this house after he won? These clowns should give the public some respect and tell lies that tally. |
rabimlomo:Kindly ignore him. He is only talking based on his level of exposure. That spa is even substandard. Most streets in lekki have like two spas of higher quality than this one. |
barcanista:You are getting sillier by the day. You really believe she wore a 10.5million naira watch? |
elantraceey:All this epistle on top an event that a crowd was invited to? I see nothing special here. Maybe my disdain for monarchy is creating a bias. |
kettykings:The moment a PDP senator signifies intentions for the post, one apc senator will just step down. It is not like the election will be done in the dark. I struggle to see how stupid apc will be for 2 of their men to contest with a PDP senator. |
Wike, today is 3rd of June and May salaries are still unpaid. I understand that Amaechi was a clown but I doubt rivers folks voted you in to surpass his own clownish tendencies. Carrying video crew to show us bedrooms and kitchens in Government house is petty and silly. |
