Just curious, is this Oba a traditional ruler or a political ruler?

APC seem to be a prayer warrior party.

May 29th Buhari abandoned his visitors to go and pray.

The other day,Okorocha stopped in the middle of the road to pray.

And now this.

Please they should focus on what they elected them for and stop the religious pretense because we all know good heart is not by showing the whole world you are praying..

Nigeria always over do things yet their prayer has never done anything good for the country.
Religion has always been a political tool used for subjugating the masses. No wonder, the Bible said ; my people perish for lack of knowledge.

However, His Excellency, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, a man of peace whose ambition isn't worth the blood of any Nigerian decided to let go. Long & short of the story....You made away with govt property after leaving office, govt sent it's people to recover their property in your custody for the incoming govt official to use, what is the noise for?
Is that all you deduced from the write up?
No wonder you got F9 in your English waec exams.

Mote importantly, Ibim remembers the govt policy that enables her to take the car but is not minded about the policy that entails salary and pension payment to workers and retirees in the information ministry? Pensions have not been pqidbsincr February and in the last year salaries have been paid two months in lieu at best.

This is completely expected from Wike. They are even lucky he did not used his thugs to stop them on the road while driving and repossess the car on the highway. Once a tour, always a tout.

While he is busy repossesing cars and chasing Amaechi's shadow, May salary are still unpaid.

Mr. Rauf Aregbesola is not the only Governor owing, he just happens to be the only one who is honest enough to admit it publicly. In fact, the situation is worse in some other states given the statistics contained in a recent document I obtained from the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) office in Abuja.

In Abia, the State Teaching hospital workers have not been paid for nine months; the Hospital Management workers are owed for eight months; Abia State Universal Basic Education workers, six months; Abia Local governments, owed four months while teachers in the state have not been paid for three months. In Akwa Ibom State where the immediate past Governor, Senator Godswill Akpabio had, through the State House of Assembly, legislated for himself some hefty perks from the state coffers, workers in Akwa Ibom have not been paid for April and May. Bauchi State workers are also being also owed two-month salaries.

In Benue, workers have not been paid since January while the state is also in default in pension arrears to the tune of four months. In the same state, teachers were paid only half-salaries for five months. Workers in Cross River State are also being owed salaries for two months. In Ekiti State, workers have not been paid for three months. In Enugu, whereas workers in the core civil service are owed only the salary for the month of May, those working for parastatals have not been paid for the last 12 months. Pension and gratuity have also not been paid in the state in the last five years.

In Imo State, core civil servants are owed only for the month of May but the state is in default for 14 months on pension payment and four years for gratuity. Whereas workers in Kano State are not owed, the newly recruited teachers are yet to receive any salaries three months after employment. Katsina State workers are also being owed one month salary while gratuities have not been paid.

The case of Kebbi State is peculiar as the Minimum Wage is not implemented with some workers earning as low as N7,000 per month. Kwara, Ondo and Ogun States have not paid their workers for the month of May but notably, in the case of Ogun, pension deductions in the last 52 months have not been remitted to the Pension Fund Administrator (PFA).

In Oyo State, workers have not been paid for three months while the pension arrears owed is between five to 11 months. Plateau State workers are owed salaries for six months and pension arrears for seven months. Workers in Rivers State are owed one-month salary and pension arrears for three months. While Zamfara State owes workers one month salary, some 1400 workers employed last year have not collected any salary. Meanwhile, the states that are up to date in the payment of workers are: Adamawa, Anambra, Bayelsa, Borno, Delta, Edo, Gombe, Kaduna, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger and Taraba. States on which information could not be obtained are: Yobe, Sokoto and Ebonyi.

In explaining his dilemma, Aregbesola said he was deeply pained and unhappy that he had not been able to pay workers salaries in Osun State for eight months. “I have found it hard to pay the wage bills owing to the declining federal allocation to the state. Federal allocation to the state has reduced by 40 per cent since 2013, making it difficult for government to meet up its responsibilities,” he said. The governor added that the government went ahead to accumulate debts in his bid to pay salaries and now the banks are no longer extending to him such facilities.

Attention seeking that!
Everybody is milking Aregbesola's ineptitude.
Osun is being used for pr.
Why not go to Benue state that is owing as much?
Why not go to your neighbours in rivers state that have not being paid for may 2015 or its pensioners that Amaechi has abandoned since February?

Better Still save some of the hardship allowance for your Internet bundles since you have found enough gullible folks to entertain on Twitter.

There are still some more annoying allowances like that to go . . .

The one that annoys me the most is: "hardship allowance". . . and that cumulatively runs into billions too. OMG!!!

I mean if you get hardship allowance, news paper allowance, travel, wardrobe and e.t.c. then what is your salary for?

And we have workers in places like Lagos who get to wake up as early as 4 AM, sweat thru Lagos traffic for 3 hours to get to their workplaces, and 3-5 hours back . . . gets home around 10-11 PM -- repeat.

They don't even get to see their kids, nor have time for their spouses. What kinda 'hardship allowance' do they get?
The hardship allowance is for Abuja runs girls. Na their the allowance dey die.

This is a man that ruled kwara state for 8years and all that can be accredited to him is an agricultural scam where he claimed to have got south Africans to start large scale farming in kwara that has ended up leading to nothing; and a bogus kwara football academy that has not even produced a single footballer for our U-17 side.
Saraki is all about power, the way he gets it doesn't matter and whatever he does with it definitely doesn't include citizen welfare or what is best for the Nigerian state.
The man shouldnt have been allowed to sit on that senate throne.

When I finished my NYSC three years ago, I was so sure I was going to get a big job after. I was a fresh graduate with high aspirations. I didn't know I was going to go through the painful experience of job hunting. I wrote 14 aptitude tests, had 5 job interviews, I travelled a lot, spending money to write those tests, my heart was broken many times when I didn't get any feedback. Most times the positions were given to people who had 'leg'. I was determined not to keep staying at home so I went to teach in a Primary school. It was plenty stress & little pay but it was something. With my friends getting jobs, I felt stuck and depressed. Today God has blessed me with a verrrrrrry good job, I'm still so dazed I can't believe it. Just want to encourage the job seekers out there, don't give up, keep trusting God and applying. You don't know which one would click. God bless y'all
Congratulations. May you make you be a model employee and in the process may God bless you with greater opportunities.

. This NASS are destroying the future of Young Nigerians. They should be Scrapped.
Like i said a while ago, the national assembly is the bane of democracy in this country. Make it part time with only sitting allowance paid to them.
Build a hotel with 360 rooms for their accommodation when in Abuja. Provide official cars attached to the national assembly that takes them to and back when in Abuja for sittings. Provide flight tickets to and from Abuja for sittings and adjournments should be limited.
As it is now, the Senate and House of rep has become a fraternity that men and women of dubious character and intentions join to expand their collective greed and violate our Commonwealth.
It is not like we all do not know what to do. The problem is that those needed to effect change are direct beneficiaries of the status quo. Change can only come from outside not within. No sane Nigerian political removes the feeding trough from his path.
Very soon, the poor will have nothing to eat but the rich. That is where change will come from. Not from these barbarians who have moved from the corner of the street to the city center.

Long story.
Is it too hard to ask your bank to refund a payment to the account of the depositor? Especially when it Is a bank transfer. Better still, he should get Rmafc bank details and deposit the money in their account to the last kobo and post the deposit slip on Twitter ( since that is his constituency) . Maybe then somebody us will begin to take him serious.

I pity fools who ever believed the attention-getting rants of this guy.
A man who together with his brothers have been unable to choose an almost naked girl in the name of beauty contest on a yearly basis without rancor and signs of underhand dealings. It is same man you expect to be a difference in a fraternity like the national assembly?
This man had a chance at NTA but left it worse than he met it.

I know Nigerians are desperate for change it the desperation should not drive us into the hands of obvious hypocrites.

The man's talents is in selecting anorexic almost naked girls. He should have stuck to that but in a country where drug dealers are lawmakers, I can understand how Ben Bruce has become a change agent.
