Jarus: wondering where in the article i dropped name?

Well, if you think telling Ribadu I once interviewed Segun Adeniyi, is name-dropping, then I'm afraid you may need a course in marketing. That is called personal marketing - it gives credibility to my work and makes Ribadu feel more comfortable (knowing other people I have worked with in the past). This is a basic principle in marketing. If you refer to that as 'name-dropping', then I will surely drop more names, because I will definitely use Ribadu's interview to open further doors for other high profile interviews.
Abeg send me the number wey you promise, make we relate properly. That is more important to me. On this issue,I have said my own,you have said yours, case closed.
One denomination i know too well that lack respect for their 'men of God' is the Pentecostal denomination ! They have to go learn how to respect/reverence their MOGs from their catholic counterparts !

Pastor sinned and should go to God,sort himself out with HIM ! We weren't there when God called him,(if he was called by God)when he sinned and will most likely not be there when he will reconcile with God !
Just know that the gift of God knows no repentance !
As for Ese,you don try to free urself but do let the devil free you by accepting Jesus as ur lord and personal saviour !

God bless us all
Abeg make i hear word.
Catholic counterparts ko counterparts ni.
You want people to open diary of reverend fathers for you?
Don't even go there.
Why does the pastor have to sort himself out with God but mere mortals need to sort themselves out with the pastor?
The delusion is worrying. We all have gifts from God and it knows no repentance. So where is the crux of your argument?
This warped idea that pastors are the only ones called of God has no biblical grounding. Especially in the new testament.

Because he is anointed. Touch not my anointed and judge not the prophets of God grin grin

Jarus, i still dey wait for that new number wey you say you go send me.
That was the reason why my sallah message to you remains undelivered.
On the interview at hand, i have one criticism (after all you are my friend grin); kindly desist from this Segun Adeniyi and Dele Momodu habit of name dropping at every possible turn. It irritates sensitive readers like myself. If you read four articles of Dele Momodu,he will mention 90% of the people he has met in his lifetime. As for Segun Adeniyi, everybody is his brother and sister.

On another note, all the best in this pursuit of yours. After all said and done, you are walking the talk. Plenty of grace in your endeavours.

babyosisi: You did what I expect every decent well brought up girl to do
A man approached you in that manner and you stood your ground
As a 17 yr old,in the university I went to visit my aunt and ended up on the wrong street, knocked on an open door with the curtains down to get direction and a voice asked me to come in,and as I looked on the wall I saw many almanacs and pictures telling me they were Assemblies of God member and I was happy I met a fellow Christian to help me get to my destination,
The man came out from an inner room and explained the street I was looking for was university road extension not university road, he asked if i was born again,i said yes ,i thanked him and was about to walk out when suddenly he held me pushed him self against me and wanted to kiss me,I pushed him out with all my might and made for the door and he started apologizing profusely ,telling me he was overcome .
That was the first time I ever heard that phrase .
I left immediately.
If I had sat down on his lap to drink coke and Hennessy and jejely roll in his sheets for 7 days and 7 nights na who I go blame?
Na people like you dey tell girls say they were raped because they wore short skirts.
It has already been agreed that Ese was no victim but but to crucify her for falling while having no word for the pastor is misogynistic. All of you posting stories of how you overcame, are you assuring us that you never fell at any point in your lives? Or you think Ese does not have tales of how she also overcame at some point in her life?
Let's try and be balanced.
Ese messed up but that must not define her.
Just like the pastor's alleged failure must not define him (if he truly repents).

texaco1: The bottom line is promises were not kept, agreements were broken and Ese felt used and dumped. The only way to get her own pound of flesh back is go public and spoil this randy pastor name ,but unknown to her many people already know about this pastor character,so her game isn't going to have much effect on the pastor church but it will most likely on his family.
This Ese story stinks of revenge ,vengeance and bitterness and not that of a lady seeking forgiveness from God
so you mean many people knew of the pastor's alleged escapades and in the absence of true repentance, the church still dey bubble?
Kai!! i refuse to believe this.

guyla: This story very credible, I didn't have the time to read through every comment but I noticed that some of us did not believe the op, and I wondered why, I belong to the read and waka class but I was deeply touched by the post. Here is a lady who was led into sin by her suposedly angel.
This is my grouse with fellow church folks. No pastor is an angel. The bible expects every believer to live a holy life, not just pastors but this lie that they are angels is perpetuated in order to subject the pew to manipulation and control. That is why that 1 chronicles 16:22 scripture is abused. Pastors can't have it both ways. They want the pew to see them as closer to God than other mortals (which they are not btw) and they still want there sins not to be analysed by mere mortals as they claim that only God who called them can judge them.
Who do you think called the pew?
Same God. It is the same blood that atones for all. Pastors had better start cleaning up their acts if they expect the kind of adulation they desire and come clean to their folks that they are human with human desires but that they die to the flesh daily just like Christ expect each and every one of us to die to same.
All these fallacies that some MOG operate on a special level of grace that makes them immune to sin is a lie from hell. They all have e.rections and e.jaculate like everyone else.

topeliasu: If Ese has a problem with pastor B, theres something called workers meeting where she could have trashed it out, amongst the workers n the pastors.
Did you see the part where she said she talked to the pastor in Lagos and that one tried to sweep under the carpet and tell her everything had been taken care of?

not bring down the church,
Is that your biggest worry? Jesus is well and able to take care of His Church. Don't lose sleep over that. A thousand Eses' never reach. I suspect you are more worried about the pastor's congregation and his image.

Why did you go to pst flo, if what you said is true, why not his wife *smiles* oh ooops i know the answer, if ur motive was to actually get him to stop or apologize, dont you think meeting his wife would have done d magic.
Forget her motive. The crux of the matter is that the pastor allegedly abused his office and desecrated his marital vows, while also spitting on the grace of God allegedly.

you are guilty on so many grounds, and then again your new salvation needs to be checked coz if u feel peace ryt now, it means your conscience has been smeered with a hot iron,as said in corinthians, you have also sowed discontent amongst brethren,

This is classic manipulation and control. This is what got your pastor into the alleged mess. Your arrogance in the face of such accusations is ungodly. She did not sow any discord. The alleged works of inequity of the pastor has been brought to light and its discordant harvest is a product of thr seeds sown by both Ese and the pastor.
By the way, who are you to question her salvation? Her conscience has been smeared? How about a pastor that was alleged to be screwing her for 7 straight days? His conscience is right with God (in the absence of repentance)?

Ese am soRry dear, but you still havnt gotten rid of your low esteem and inferiority complex, i hope this hits you where it hurts the most, your not sorry for whatever transpired according to your story, you feel used,u wonder why God still blesses him, and your pained.
She sure seems to have a low self esteem, maybe that was why your pastor allegedly sought her out and violated her trust in him (I still do not think she is a victim though)

I still think your story is a recap from a Hints magazine, u studied law, did they also school you on script writing.
And we do not worship our pastors we give them due respect,
Respect should be earned. If these allegations are true and without true and genuine repentance, your pastor does not deserve that respect and if you choose to still accord him same, you are of all men most miserable.

femialiu: I will rather pray for grace and mercy...
Same here.
Most of us have spent hours on this post today, i wonder if we will spend a few minutes praying for both the pastor and Ese (most especially). That would be love in action. In addition, we need to pray for wisdom so we as a body stop abusing 1 Chronicles 16:22. That is the most abused scripture in the Nigerian church.
May God's limitless mercy overwhelm us all. Even those of us whose sins have suddenly turned minor in the light of the pastors alleged sins.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mbulela: 10:53pm On Aug 23, 2013
Arsene Wenger is taking this thing too personal.

"I don't want to speak in detail about that," Wenger said. "It's not the moment. One day, why not? I've just said it's over. We have to get on with our lives. You seem to know as much as I know about the situation so I don't think we need for me to clarify that. You've certainly tried to go out with a girl and find she has chosen someone else. You don't commit suicide."

Wenger's dating analogy was a nod towards Real's anticipated bid for Suárez; the Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, said on Thursday that he expected the Spanish club to make a move before the closure of the transfer window. Arsenal hope that Real are successful, as this could, in turn, allow them to sign Benzema, who is a long-time Wenger target. Suárez would like to join Real.

omotee4u: I ran into my room, looked at myself in the mirror to see if it was my dress that caught his attention, and the next words that came out of my mouth were "This girl, you are a devil. You have a seductive spirit." Then I cried. I cried because to me, it was the evil spirit in me that was trying to cause the fall of a man of God. I cried bitterly, asking God to forgive and deliver me. Then I started avoiding him.
Thank God for your testimony but the part above is what i struggle to understand. This mentality described above is not of God. It is the product of manipulated, seduced and controlled life. You have as much responsibility to flee from the appearance of evil as the pastor does too. This cultural norm that it is in the woman's place to resist temptation as if the man is helpless must not take root in the church,if it does,it must be rooted out.It is ungodly and has no biblical basis.

i feel you but the lady spoilt her tale by calling herself a victim. That was a very wrong choice of word. She was a wilful participant who chose to be seduced, controlled and manipulated by a man because she like most females in the pentecostal setting choose not to read their bibles and have a personal relationship with God devoid of any intermediary called GO or Archbishop or even senior pastor.
This will keep happening until they stop abusing 1Chronicles 16:22, Every believer is anointed of God. Their is no hierarchy in God's kingdom.
So, wouldn't the possibility of independent candidates be a solution? That way, there would be no party affiliations, and hopefully no chance of one getting corrupted by the system.

With regards to holding a political position under a party, are you saying that no one with good intentions can ever get the party vote?
Who will approve the independent candidacy? Same NASS?
We do not lack men and women with good intentions. We lack a system capable of letting their intentions manifest. The system is structured in such a way to eliminate good intentions that tend to limit the bazaar at the center.

This civil rule is built on no foundation whatsoever. All that is propping it up is the oil money and the greed of the ruling elite. Expecting them to gradually evolve is akin to asking them to self-destruct and you know it is against human nature to do such. Expecting these set of barbarians to also great space for genuine change is also laughable,if only it was not a serious matter.

I uswed to believe that epistle of yours.
People who want positive change have been participating for a while. Truth is the stench is stronger than they first imagined and in the process of sending out a message, they themselves have been converted to the camp of the barbarians. you and i know many men and women who joined the polity with good intentions. Where are they today? The system is structured to contain only barbarians. Only an external force can halt this fast moving train. Applying brakes intermittently is futile.
I love and patronize your music. However, most Nigerians don't always have the energy to be listening to songs with big grammar...and when they garner the energy, they go for Talib, common, Mos Def and even Nas.
So, instead of the big grammar thing...they deecided to pitch tent with the likes of Phyno the Fino, Olamide, Raw, Ajasa and co. These guys rap about almost everything you rap about. Difference is they do it with understandable languages.

And sir, if you are too proud to go a bit commercial....at least do more of that kind of 'CRY' song. It worked!
Even the CRY song was not original. Go and listen to a similar track by Zola, the kwaito artiste.
I accept that his music is not very commercial but dude is not even as good as his lousy ego makes him believe. Just that their is so much dross and mediocrity in Nigeria music else no one will be talking about him. He is just a slightly above average rapper with very poor delivery.
His complaint also does not hold water as MI before all this his Chairman rubbish was able to put out tracks that were both commercial and made sense. It must not be one or the other. A very good artiste can do both. It just needs hard work and strategy.
