Hello everyone, please I have a question to ask. My visa was delayed on 3rd august on grounds of insufficient funds, I posted my profile before the house same day. I want to reapply & in order to tackle is reason for refusal, I would be adding a cosponsor who is ready to show commitment in my next application.

My question: how do I establish/prove relationship between me & my cosponsor? She's my mum's maternal cousin.

Please have you gotten your gcms note to know the exact reason(s) behind the denial? if yes then you can reapply. on your sponsor, the best way to proof to the vo is your sponsor paying your tuition fee to your school and also your living expenses into your personal account or pay both into you account (that's if your schools doesn't accept tuition fee until trv has been approved ). it if you can get a proof to show where your mum and her cousin share same surname (family name ) then you can use it but if you can't get that then let her just pay the funds to you and you will be good to go

The CIC sent a mail to go for medical test without attaching the stamped data page of international passport. What should be done?
Secondly, IOM, Ikeja seems very expensive for medical test -42K+, what are the alternatives and how much.

recheck ur cic account again and u should see ur passport page. as for the medical, go to Children's practice clinic at Raymond Njoku street, falomo(#28,050)

Submitting my passport at VFS on Wednesday 16th August can I pick it before 26th August? Because I'm booking my flight for 28th August

You should get it next week by God's grace (it takes few days to get it stamped)

Before I post my profile. I just want to say that I am convinced there's no one size fits all for visa application. These are all the things I did "wrong"

- I didn't pay my fees
- I didn't add any land documents e.t.c as home tie because I couldn't find, plus I did not understand how my parents properties could serve as a home tie for me.
- I'm a pharmacist going for an MBA at MUN
- I have four younger siblings (parents dependents)
- Did not notarize my letter

Did my medicals and submitted passport: 27/07/17

- Letter from bank stating she's the sole signatory to the company account
- Moms personal SOA (5.5m)
- Letter from bank stating she's a know customer blah blah

- One CAC document that shows my dad, me and my siblings are directors of the company ( my nick name was used in that document though) *home tie
- My French language documents (I speak French)
- Pictures of my blog website and social media page (I have a pharmacy blog and a social media page for it) *home tie

- Screenshot of a response mail from cashiers office saying payment for tuition begins on the first day of classes
- GMAT test result

In case you are wondering what was in my LOE . I just said I wanted to run a business and since I've seen so many fail, I want first hand knowledge. Also compared Lagos to Newfoundland in terms of start ups. Then I listed the supporting document I was going to attach ( barely a page)

Think that's all. So happy everything worked out because I had doubts.

Major key : I prayed more than I've ever prayed in my life ( okay except my final year in Uni)

Austinpee4 was having challenges yet had time to go through my SOP, Mcobex explained stuffs to me based on his previous denial and this was a big help. I appreciate. Nuendo is the great grand father had to give explanation even on POE and his gala with medix he bought from Nija before travelling. I think the application fee is around 55k, but go with atleast 60k (in case u break somebody's egg...LOL!). you will do biometrics same day. NB: VFS only accepts cash (no POS)

It's because due to unforseen circumstances, I would be unable to go early in the morning tomorrow.

the earlier you get there the earlier you leave. I don't know how the population will be this period but as at June the crowd was so much that I got there around 10am and left around 8pm. So it's your call to make

What's your status in Poland? if you are there for studies or a permanent resident I will advise you apply from there as their processing time should be less than that of Nigeria but if you went there for visit then come back and apply from Nigeria

I plan to reapply with all documents showing very strong home ties and other needed docuents this month end or begining of next month since my admission is for winter (3rd January, 2018) My question is this; do I need to do a new medical test (having done the medical test on 28th of june n passed) and new biometrics (which I did on 29th June during my 1st application) or am I to just pay for only visa application?

You don't need another medical cos medical last 1 year (yours won't expire until 27th June 2018 ). As for the biometrics you will do another one, it's a new application so you will submit everything afresh

Depends on where your coming from. if your are on the mainland, it's on the third roundabout (ikate bus stop after marwa bus stop) then cross to the other side and walk/drive into the street and the building is on the street (should be the 4th or 5th building ). u will even see people asking u if u are going to visa office. if you are coming from Ajah, also drop or turn at ikate bus stop and walk/drive into the street

I would like to encourage all TRV hopefuls not to give up and keep trusting God because he is working out the best for us.

I remembered when @Freeradical (tuale sir ) was trying to get a supervisor and co (I'm sure he must have felt very disappointed for not getting a supervisor/admission). He later got an ITA while trying and now has his PPR (officially a permanent resident of Canada). His story changed within 4 months.

I have seen some applications on this thread that were not perfect but were approved while some 'perfect' applications were denied. Also, some people applied for study visa in June, got approved in July while some applied in March and still waiting for approval (Life you will say ) But please always remember that GOD HAS A REASON FOR EVERYTHING AND HE IS WORKING OUT THE BEST FOR US.

@mostblackroads from my own little understanding going by using a third party sponsor would have been nice if he paid your full fees or half to show commitment and even go ahead to transfer the money for your upkeep into your account and also stating in the sponsorship letter that he has paid your fees and transferred money into your account and will even do more "when" your visa is approved! I think that is better

Is the money yours and in your account or in your sponsor's account? if it's in your sponsor's account who is your sponsor to you? The said amount is more than enough but answer the above questions.
