TaniSure:Good plan, submit alone now then invite her after her studies. But also state that you have a fiancé and will be getting married to her in July(if possible include your wedding invitation to your app) 1 Like |

Adwoa816:Yes you can. Does the $17250 cover your tuition and living expenses? If yes, then tell the vo you have funding from school to cover your tuition fee and living expenses, that the extra 1.2mil in your personal account is for your flight and other miscellaneous. In the place of funds, fill scholarship 1 Like |

sarmamotors:Since it was traditional then no worries, just explain you didn't include proof of marriage because you didn't do it in church or law court (those are the only places you can get certs). Another option is go to court and "legalize" your marriage and use your wife, parents and siblings as hometie (your wife will be a very good one). You can also use your dad's company as hometie, let your dad state in his letter of support that you will take over the company when you are done with studies (it will work perfectly if the business is related to your intended course). Please try to order for your gcms note just to be sure of the vo's concern, all the suggestions I or anyone will give you here will be guess work due to past experiences, but with the gcms note you get to know the exact reasons behind your refusal |

sarmamotors:First I will suggest you order for your gcms note just to be sure of the vo's concern. Secondly, about your wife, you didn't mention at all that you are married to her or you didn't include your marriage certificate? Third, let your dad/sponsor state in his letter that you have been working for the family business but there's no salary for it, but he gives you monthly allowance (let him state the amount, cos I want to believe there's a particular amount you get monthly for your upkeep). NB: Your answer to the second question will really decide a lot, because if you lied that you weren't married then and saying something else now means you might get banned for concealing such vital information from CIC 1 Like |

Seundeola:Do you mean the #3.5mil in your account is after paying your tuition? If yes then that can only cover for your living expenses alone. If you intend to include your family then you should get around #10mil for living expenses alone(without tuition). I am not a vo but with your profile it will be almost impossible to get approval |

vsylva:Is your program for a year? if yes then you have enough to ahead, but if it is beyond one year then you still don't have enough. As a self sponsored student, it will be required of you to have funds to cover the entire duration of your program. Also, is your wife working? If she is then you can say she earns enough to take care of the children while you are away (if not you will have to explain to the vo how you intend to carter for them while you are studying since they are your responsibility). |

Francejaik:I don't get you clearly, are you saying your mum will have 300k in her account after deducting your tuition fee and living expenses (around #9-10 million)? If not, then I am sorry you don't have the financial strength to study in Canada. As for your aunt, is she willing to really sponsor you or you just want to use her SOA to apply? If it is the later then you don't have any chance of getting TRV. Another option will be for you to go for a course/program that will give you full funding that will cover your tuition and living expenses 2 Likes 1 Share |

Kinzeerichy:20k funding without you showing the other 20k(for your tuition balance and living expenses) won't help you at all. Because of the available funds at hand, I will advise you go with the 10k tuition (which has already been taken care of by the school), so you just need to provide a mere 10k(actually 9k cos you have extra 1k from funding) for your living expenses. NB: I want to believe both schools offers same program, right? 1 Like |

Preshy2004:Your son is just 17 now, so don't think too much about PR for now. I will strongly advise he goes to the school offering him co-op as that will give him enough experience while studying. |

Adunola20:Getting daycare now will help your case. I will like to know if you have any good hometie (properties/investments, family, potential job/promotion....)? Because you need to clear that area , it is very important |

MsJu:I am not saying she should leave the kids, she can apply alone first then for them once she secures her TRV. It is also possible to apply with them and get TRV but I feel since she didn't mention any other potential hometie she should apply alone first(and use the kids as hometie) , then once she gets it she can now apply for them. NB: But if she has other hometies then she should apply with the kids |

Adunola20:Applying with your children at the same time will kinda reduce your chances of approval (except you have another strong home tie), adding your aunt will reduce your chances even more. Best bet is to apply alone or at most with your children. If you must apply with your children, try to make provision for their education and upkeep before applying (like getting them a school or daycare, depending on their age). I I want to believe funds won't be an issue for you, so try to get them a school in Canada before making your next move. NB: But if you don't have any strong hometie, then you can apply alone first and use your kids as your hometie, once you get your approval you can now apply for them |

drealsahmy:If one school refuse you then try others na. your result is good enough to gain admission(depending on your intended course), so look for other schools offering your intended program and apply to them. |
